“I am Din Tai Fung’s biggest fan and the today went to the Santa Monica location located inside Santa Monica Place :) Stunning location and recommend sitting outside: the views are immaculate!! I got to try the new matcha jasmine latte which was a 10/10 for me. I appreciate the ceremonial grade matcha comes unsweetened and the jasmine milk tea is sweetened so it’s the perfect blend. Some of my personal favorites: shrimp fried rice, string beans, & crab xiao long bao, & cucumber salad :) Sam was our server today and he was an absolute gem!!’ So professional and nice!! I can tell this location has a great and strong management team. The way all the employees present themselves shows structure and genuineness. Can’t wait to be back again“

“Incredible experience - The staff were so accommodating and the food was genuinely the best Chinese I've ever had.
I had the soup dumplings which were so good I ordered seconds, followed by the pork belly bun which was recommended to me and I couldn't have been more happy!

“We love the food from Mandarin and the service from Ling Ling, the woman who works at the front. It’s been our go to place for Chinese food for quite some time. Consistently delicious and usually fast for takeout. Highly recommend! We love the lo mein, Orange chicken, eggplant tofu, mapo tofu, egg rolls, and beef with broccoli.“

“Really great spot I've been coming here for over 17 years. The price is great for the food you get. I would recommend going before or after the lunch rush. They can get pretty busy and the fresh food goes quick. On the bright side their cooks are really good at getting fresh food out quickly, plus the server is great at his job he's fast friendly and efficient.“

“We visited this location for the second time today, and enjoyed it just as much as the first time we went to eat there. The Sherman Oaks location is one of the nicest P.F. Chang’s around, as we’ve been to quite a few in Southern California. Staff is always polite and professional, and I want to give a big “thank you” to our server, Aliyah. She was so friendly, sweet, accommodating, and is exceptionally good at her job, and it really showed! We’ve had some good and bad dinning experiences at other restaurants in the past, so it’s nice and refreshing to know that people like Aliyah truly care about the customer experience. It also reflects well on the management—that being, they spend the time and effort in training and employing great staff like her.

The Mao's Hometown was just-right spicy, and I'm sure they put more than $2 extra shrimp on my order. Service friendly and prompt, loved the art. I felt as though I had wandered back into college in the early '70s.“

“Great lunch spot or to take to go. It’s a really good value for West LA especially. Love all the small dish options, feels like I could come here multiple times a week and not get tired of the food given the variety. I recommend the mapo tofu, king pao chicken, sweet tomato and egg, and eggplant. The mini buns are nice snack for the kids too. We make our own rice at home and pair with 5-6 of these sides. Feeds a family of 4 for about $25-30! Not a big space inside so gets a little cramped during busy hours.“

“Dan modern Chinese was a pleasant surprise as the person who brought me told me it was better then din tai fung. It was not as good but the food was solid, the dumplings were great and so was the salt and pepper beef. Would come here with a date or a friend for a casual meal.“

“If you want liang pi or if you haven’t tried it, I highly recommend this spot. Other noodles were just ok. I do want to mention that the portions are HUGE, so very good value. The bowl I got could be eaten for two meals. Food was out very fast. They also sell some bubble tea drinks there.“

I tried their new Kung Pao Chicken, and wow--it's a must-order. The balance of spice, crunch, and just the right amount of sweetness made it one of the best versions I've had anywhere in LA.

Of course, the classics here never disappoint. “This is a nice little restaurant that is very affordable for two or four people.
Proportion and servings are medium to large.
Depending on how much you order and how big or small your stomach is.
This may not be din Tai Fung but it's it's a little brother and it is up to par.
I was very satisfied with my meal I do plan to come back for a regular visit.
Steam soup dumplings were also their signature mark as well as their bao buns.
They give you options for soup, noodles, vegetable servings, choice of drinks and desserts.
Please pay this wonderful little restaurant to visit.“

“Take out the way of memories without the oily paper boxes, it's a good thing! Whether orange chicken or beef broccoli, vegetable chow mein or egg fried rice, mains inside dishes are awesome. Hot and sour soup could've been spicier if heat is your thing. My favorite dish here has to be the cashew chicken, it's superb! I must not be the only one aware of take out from here, though the place felt quiet and offered serene dining for a few tables, the kitchen remained very busy. Multiple orders and their owners came and went in the scant few minutes awaiting my own delicious dishes. I've returned for more already but can't justify keeping this gem all to myself anymore.“

We also ordered some pork fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, and garlic shrimp. They give you large portions and it tasted amazing.“

“I’ve been coming to K&A Chinese Restaurant since I was about 12 or 13 years old, and it’s still one of my favorite spots. The food has always been amazing, and the quality has never changed. Their orange chicken is an absolute must—seriously one of the best you’ll ever have. I’ve kept coming back for years because everything is consistently delicious and comforting. “I was searching for Chinese fast food and found this place. Conveniently located not far from the airport and the owner was friendly and attentive. I ordered the pork short rib (soy glazed), fried chicken wings (sweet and sour), and curry chicken (very flavorful). Since I got there 30 mins before closure, one third of the entrees were sold out but I’m still pleased with the what I got. I would recommend both curry chicken and chicken wings, the pork ribs are a little bit saltier to my preference.
