“Only one pool table, so for me that was a strike right there. My first time there I noticed that the bartender took care of all the ppl she recognized before I got to place my drink order. I didn't see any food being offered , but there was a great band from LA playing Rock-a-billy\\ pulp fiction type music that were really good. Last call was at least 1 hour early and they closed early even thoughit was Saturday night and the place was packed. 12:30 instead of 2am. So that was not good , especially if your the owner. Otherwise for a small neighborhood bar it was ok.“

“Bar Rincon is such a great spot to have in the area. I really love the atmosphere here because it has a relaxed, local feel while still being a fun place to go out and enjoy yourself. The drinks are great, the vibe is always welcoming, and it’s the kind of place that works whether you’re meeting up with friends, grabbing a drink after work, or just looking for somewhere different to spend the evening. “We celebrated my mom’s 90 th birthday last night at Ottavios. We have had prior celebrations in the past, 44 years ago we had our Wedding Rehearsal dinner there ! The back private room is so nice to have a dinner party! We were allowed to arrive early and decorate. All the staff were very attentive and friendly! The food was delicious and huge portions! The service was excellent! I highly recommend Ottavios if you are looking for the perfect dinner party location!“

A blue-collar, workin’ man’s bar, Joe owned the place, Yvonne ran it .. bartenders were cool, drinks tasty and cheap, locals tight and friendly .. and this place just immediately felt like ‘Home.’ Over the years, we ate, drank, smoked, joked, sang and screwed our way thru some damn good times!! In 3 1/2 decades, regulars who became dear friends have come, gone .. many passing away. But does the heart good to know the same cool ‘locals vibe’ is alive and well .. and new generations are finding appreciation for what is still, the best kept secret in town. My respect… ??“

“Food is excellent - pricey but well worth the money. Overall service also excellent as you’d expect from a fine dining restaurant. Servers very attentive and courses are perfectly paced. We loved that it was fine dining but provided both an elegant atmosphere indoors and a more casual atmosphere out on the patio. The bruschetta and fried calamari appetizers were fantastic. So was the Chicken Marssla w/mash and Grilled Salmon w/risotto. But the Grilled Rack of Lamb w/mash and the Chilean Bass w/risotto were just unbelievable!! We will definitely go back!“

“We had a lunch meeting here last Friday. It was fairly busy, very clean, and decent noise-wise so we were able to have a good meeting.

The service was excellent. Prompt and professional. The food was delicious. I had a turkey sandwich with fries. Not cheap but nothing is anymore.“
