With this and even beyond into the fancy-pants lattes and holiday drinks, Queen Cup is always sure to tip the balance toward the beans — making certain the presence of coffee shines above all else. Behold, the vanquishers of goopy syrup and cloying drinks — Queen. Cup. Coffee. ☕🏆 ...oh yes, and their teas are rather quite lovely. 🧐🤌“

“Overall this was a pretty fun experience for us. At least as far as a trip to Starbucks goes. Yes, we ventured a trip to the casino looking for the Grains & Grounds coffeehouse bakery which soon turned into a slightly confused, dark & flashy, casino lit, cigar smoke infused, hunt and discovery of Chumash's back-of-the-house, hole-in-the-wall, Starbucks gem! I'll admit I was disappointed at realizing our Google maps wild goose chase ended in finding a 'boutique bakery/coffee conglomerate consolidation. But as early morning, albeit last minute, adventures go we still got a lot of enjoyment in playing around with a delightfully glittered, Almond Honey Cake fluff and a dark chocolate & gold gilded Cake Pop! Wow!!
But while I can't say either confection knocked my socks off in the taste category, I will give full marks for imagination and whimsical presentation. So I'll conclude by admitting that I'm deeply curious to sample whatever else they've got for next time.“

“Everything is good even the coffee“

“I stopped at this coffee shop while waiting for another business to open, and I am glad I did! I ordered a basic breakfast: scrambled eggs, bacon, and home fries with onions and peppers. I would have never thought a “basic” breakfast could taste so amazing!!

The home fries were perfectly cubed with the peppers and onions grilled perfectly, with all tasting so dang good! I know. I know. How could a coffee shop mess up these basics. Sadly, too many plays do.

I hate, and let re-iterate HATE, to see any brown on my eggs. It’s weird, I know, but that’s just me. These eggs looked as if my wife prepared them as they were so dang pretty and tasty! No brown in sight - not even on the bottom. (And I didn’t mention my preference for “no brown on my eggs”.

Now, on to the coffee. It was good. In my opinion, the coffee tasted just like I would expect coffee shop coffee to taste, but it was so much better.

And the service? I’m a black man who stopped at a coffee shop in Santa Ynez, CA. Let’s just say I don’t see many folks who look like me out here. The storefront looks like it belongs on the set of bonanza. Really! No kidding! Into my surprise, I didn’t get out one inquisitive look, no Expressions of “what is he doing here?”, nor anything that made me feel uncomfortable. My server, who happens to the Owner, Debbie, was an absolute sweetheart!

From now on when I drive through this area, I will stop and make sure I get either breakfast or lunch at the Longhorn Coffee Shop!

FYI… I wrote this review while eating breakfast so that test image is not when the food first came out but while I’m eating. Ha ha.“

“The food is excellent, each component of the plates we tried (smoked salmon and bacon avacado) complimented one another in a way that created the perfect blend of flavors! Highly recommend this place for lunch and picking up a cheese & meat plate for visiting local wineries.“

“I was here 4/6 for the first time. I came here because I saw that people commented that they had gluten-free baked goods, and I am an instant fan. The good or bad thing for me is that I live over 100 miles from here...so, I will have more reasons to vist family in Santa Maria just to make a stop here. So, what I got was the peanut butter cookie (best I've ever had with or w/o wheat). I also the super food latte w/beet root and raw cocoa...yum❣ Next time I'm adding and espresso shot to it. “My absolute favorite from there is a Mexican chocolate iced coffee it’s the yummiest treat EVER! They make the best and always smile! The owner I believe, Jen, helped me through two of the hardest days of my life back in 2019&2020. She’s an angel. 2020 I came through to get my fav coffee& a pup cup and big milkbone for my 15 yr old pup that day 04/28/20 was the day I had to help her get her angel wings, I will forever be grateful to Jen and her staff. I hadn't been here in 5 years and came back all was the same if not better. The atmosphere of this town is amazing and without Olsens it would never be the same. “Canolli $10, apricot tart, $10. Canolli's flavor is okay - better and cheaper in Rome. The apricot tart is okay - just doesn't jump out. It's the only shop with pastries that stays open after 7 PM, so, in a smart move, has a lock on the market, and it has a clean well lit courtyard that bumps up the overall score to four. Prices are in line with the rest of the adorable tourist trap that is Solvang.“

“We enjoyed our visit to Danish Mill Bakery. Not only are the pastries and desserts delicious, the customer service is impeccable. We were on a driving trip through CA and my daughter accidentally left her Apple Watch at the bakery. We did not realize this until we were two hours south. I received a phone call from Emily at the bakery who was so kind and was willing to mail the watch to our home. We can't thank you enough!“
