“Do yourselves a favor and get some food from here. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Their cheesesteak hoagies are too addicting. My wife asked if I wanted her to pack me a lunch and was offended when I said no thank you ?. Aside from the food, the guy working behind the window (I imagine the owner) is just a genuine, down to earth guy - you can tell by just a 30 second conversation with him and his prices. They could easily charge 30-50% more but it seems he just genuinely wants to provide high quality food at the most affordable prices. Highly recommend“

“I sometimes order pickup from World Wrapps in Corte Madera or SF after my work in Marin; have been doing so for years now. I love their salmon and beef bowls.
The one in Corte Madera though has iffy quality checks. This is the second time now I've had missing items in my order. Recently I ordered an extra salmon (+$7) that wasn't added. You can see in the pic only one bowl had double salmon when I got it for both.
I think they should reduce or simplify their online order options if they can't keep up with it.
UPDATE: they reached out to me and were able to get me refunded on missed items + gave some credits on the next order, which was appreciated.“

“After walking the ever so steep San Francisco Hills in this area on the way to China Town, I stumbled upon a quaint little food shop with a tiny little woman by the name of Jasmin.
Entering you are greeted so warmly and kindly.
Her restaurant is not so big. The menu is big and obvious with all the ingredients posted. She serves beer and the theme of the place is very nice.
After taking the order, she quickly hopped over to her cooking area and whipped out the order as quickly and efficiently as it could be. When I got there, a few people trailed right after me and she served them just as well she had her system down.
If you're in the area, I would highly suggest dropping by and picking up a quick bite at Jasmins. ?“

“The food and service at Slider Buns is fantastic! The staff is super welcoming and friendly and efficient and there is a super affordable lunch special available ($12 for a burger, fries, and drink) weekdays. Great comfort food (burgers, fried food, etc.)“

“Friendly, fast service with a simple menu and excellent prices. I ordered the #12 special which came with fresh veggies, herbs, noodles, pork, and egg rolls and also a grilled pork bahn mi and it was all less than $25 and ready in less than 15 minutes. The meat was well seasoned and very flavorful. I also loved the sweet tangy sauce that came with my combo. The portions are very generous as well.“

“Where do I start! This place is such a treat! Not only is the food AMAZING but the service is incredible! On the way to SFMOMA my pickleball partner and I thought we would stop and get something to eat - Hooley Dooley were we happy! The food is so so good, the kombucha is delicious - my fave was the one that tasted like summer and Christmas (with currants in it).. AND the service is incredibly special, Numan (I think the owner) is such an awesome and incredibly nice person - it legitimately felt like we were eating lunch with a best friend! 10/10 would recommend!!! Ps. The hummus is life changing.“

“I recently dined at Chisme Cantina and was blown away by their innovative take on Mexican cuisine. The restaurant’s focus on healthy, vegan options really sets it apart, and you can tell the owner/chef pours his heart into every recipe.
I started with the cauliflower ceviche—a dish marinated in coconut milk overnight that was absolutely out of this world. The flavors melded together beautifully, creating a light, refreshing start to my meal.
Next, I tried the vegan tacos featuring eggplant and jackfruit. They were perfectly cooked—neither oily nor greasy—and spiced with a delightful fresh mint sauce that reminded me of mint chutney usually served with Indian tikkas. The addition of a roasted tomato salsa on the side provided a fresh and tangy counterpoint that elevated the entire dish.
Overall, Chisme Cantina is a must-visit for anyone looking to explore a creative, health-conscious twist on traditional Mexican fare. I can’t wait to return and try more of their inventive dishes!“

“It was a Monday afternoon. Perfect timing if you will to enjoy a very flavorful burger sandwich without the usual rush. It was everything I was expecting and hit the spot.
Kid-friendliness: The Grilled cheese sandwich was enjoyed the little one so much that she gave the chef a personal compliment on how good it was.“

“Really good chicken! We bought The G Meal plus some sides which was enough for 2 people. The chicken was crispy and delicious. However, their fries were soft and their mac and cheese quite firm and a little cold when we got it. Their Texas Toast was okay, but not sure I understood the idea of having it with chicken.“

“The best Vietnamese food in the Bay Area! Prices are excellent. Get the Number 5 to sample everything. I would come here at least one a week if I lived nearby! Order to go if you don’t want to sit in the tiny 10-person space. The food is worth it!“

“Ok.. I just hit the jackpot with this Cafe'. I have been craving a hot pastrami sandwich for the longest time thinking the only place to satisfy my craving will be in New York until I gave Sweet Joanna’s a try. I was lucky to be there when one of the owners, Mr. Zaro, took my order and confidently assured me that their sandwiches are the best. He was not lying. I got the best looking layered sandwich of pastrami, cheese, pastrami, avocado, pastrami lettuce and tomatoes on a warm Dutch crunch. I had to take a photo of this master piece to post here. I was in heaven when I took the first bite. The bread, the cheese and pastrami were heated first, explained Mr. Zaro, then the other fixings were added. That way you get an amazing crunchy bread with warm pastrami, melted cheese and the fresh veggies. This place will be my first stop when I am in San Francisco. It is clean with friendly staff and a great service.“

“Hands down my fav dim sum place by far. Point and choose. Just about every type of dumpling you can think of. Always a line. And such a good prices. Cash only. Most people take it to go. But you can sit on basic tables with bare minimum for ambiance. Still a winner no matter what you choose.“

“Chicken Tikka Masala (in a bowl, with white rice instead of brown) - The chicken could have stayed on the grill for an extra minute or two. The Tikka Masala curry was phenomenal - had the right spices, perfect amount of tomato sauce, and quite strong! The curry was contrasted with a white yogurt raita, which contrasted quite well with the umami-ness and the curry. Love the mints and cilantro, made it look very refreshing. The marinated and pickled cucumbers, I felt, had hints of sesame oil.
The pickled cabbages were a great addition to its refreshing dish. Overall, it was a great balance of the strong flavors of the curry and yogurt, and keeping the refreshing profile of the dish.
*I have had this multiple times. The pickling of the cabbage can be inconsistent. The white rice can sometimes be too soggy. The curry was pretty consistent throughout.
FINAL REMARKS: Would come here again for the aforementioned dish.“

“It was late night order and I’ve never had a burger dog before but wanted to try since frisco fried out them on the scene back in the day. Ordered my door dash and couldn’t wait. As soon as they arrive I could smell the goodness so I take my pics and dive in.Burger Dog: Hefty on the meat, felt like it was more beef than an actual burger and I wanna say easier to eat. Only change I would add bacon and that’s my bad. Very good burger dog!Bacon Hot Dog: Butterflied Beef Dog with crispy bacon! Another hit.Very simple menu options but they hit it out the park. Would definitely double back to this spot to try them fresh.
Parking: It’s on 20th street so not impossible but keep your eyes open spots get taken fast
Kid-friendliness: Burgers, Hot Dogs, Fries I think so….
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s in San Francisco it has to be accessible“

“We ordered the combo plate with lamb, beef and chicken shawarma served with rice and salad. It was freshly made to order, with flavorful tender meat, yummy freshly sliced salad, and well cooked rice. Large portion for a very reasonable price. We all loved it and will definitely be back! Awesome healthy addition to the Stonestown food court.“

“I had the Chicken Mix Bowl with the smokey chipotle sauce and it was AMAZING. I am allergic to dairy, gluten, and soy so being able to not worry about that with my meal was so nice. I also have ARFID (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder) and have a really hard with certain textures, usually chicken is really hard for me to eat but I had no issues with this chicken!! The texture was consistent all the way through, pulled apart really easily, and was just overall amazing. The portions are really good and the food is very flavorful. I'm really happy with my meal. Thank you guys for the amazing food. I highly recommend this place!!“

“How is it possible for chicken to be so tender? It just is! Always order more than you can eat so you have some for later. Plus the million sauces are amazing. Get a few extra. The wait is very short, can get get busy at lunch time, but always a great experience. Always piping hot and flavorful. Mix and match regular and crispy.“

“Best fast casual Japanese food in the city! Ever since visiting Japan at the beginning of last year, I haven’t been able to find any casual Japanese food I really like in California until this place. I got the custom bowl with eel, imitation crab, and teriyaki tofu for protein and a mixed base of salad and rice. It was super satisfying for dinner on a rainy day, and I felt full but not heavy. The portion size was just right, and the ingredients were fresh and yummy.“

“This place is expensive, 10.00 for a 4 inch sandwich, but it's totally worth it! I got the BBQ brisket sandwich and YUM! The only downer is that the guy at the counter is hard to understand, which happens, but the look of disappointment he gave to anyone who didn't tip was not cool. I never tip the first time I go there. After the first time, if it's eat in, I tip, but carryout is a no.“

“A Modern Western Vibe with a Twist in Noe Valley
Tucked into a corner in San Francisco’s charming Noe Valley, this burger spot feels like stepping onto the set of an old Western—if the saloon served plant-based patties and endless condiments. The atmosphere has a modern-meets-classic charm, and while the staff weren’t exactly rolling out a red carpet, their neutral reception kept things casual and unpretentious.
I went for the Beyond Meat Burger, and here’s where I confess: I forgot to add cheese. A rookie mistake, and one I won’t be making again. The burger itself was flavorful, though I couldn’t help but notice that the Beyond Meat option costs more than its meaty counterpart—a quirk I’m still trying to process. Still, it earns a solid 7/10 in my book.
What really stood out were the little extras. The self-serve station was a treasure trove of condiments: mayo, chili sauce, BBQ sauce, pickles, jalapeños—you name it. And the free drink refills? Always a win. But the true MVP? The sweet potato fries. Crispy, golden perfection.
All in all, this spot serves up a solid burger experience with a side of Noe Valley charm. It’s the kind of place you’d happily wander into after a stroll, cowboy hat optional.
Vegetarian options: vegane und vegetarische Option. Ein Beyond Meat Patty.“

“Stopped in for a slice of pizza, and it was ok... it hit the spot, but I'm not pointing any friends in this direction. If you are craving pizza and nearby, I guess you can grab a slice here, but if you are disappointed, dont blame me... you can't go wrong with pizza, but it can be better.“

“I'm sadden that their other location on Geary closed down, however this is now my after work/ school spot. Pretty quick. Longest wait wait time is 10 minutes for the food to be cooked, so 11 minutes in total. Food is still great and beats waiting in long lines( just to order) in the Mission and wait up to 20 mins. So it's a 5 star for me. Thanks Burrito Loco!
Wheelchair accessibility: It's right off the West Portal station and has street/side walk level entry. However the dinning/ order area is really small and could be a tight fit for wheelchairs if it's busy.
If you're in a wheelchair just run over them toes if people don't move for you.“

“I'm so excited they have these slushies now! I think they call them freezes.
It was weird how the employees didn't want to swap the chips and cheese for cinnamon twists when the app and online make it clear that that's an option. I looked everything up before I came that's why I ordered it that way. I'm not trying to be shady.“

“Great simple lunch meal. Perfectly pickled vegetables. Nicely seasoned rice. Good ratio of ingredients. Kalbi beef did not have the bone, which I preferred. No kimchi as another reviewer already noted, I think that’s referring to the kimchi fried rice. Overall very yummy and flavorful.“

“Four stars because they clucked up one of the things we ordered. The Cali Cluckwich came with no tempeh bacon or avocado added on, and we didn't have time to get it fixed because we were crunched for time on a work lunch break. Without the cali ingredients added, it was a plain old classic cluckwich. Other than that, taste-wise the food was good. Also, I've always loved the customer service at the San Francisco location, the employees are always so happy and friendly. Hunny Hickory TenderClucks were delicious. I chose all fries, no slaw, and it might have been the largest side of fries I've ever got at a restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2023-08-07“

“One of the best Mexican meals I’ve had in SF—100% better than Chipotle, with all fresh ingredients. I highly recommend the noodle bowl and quinoa bowl. They’re only open from 11 AM to 2 PM, and I just wish they were open longer and on more days. A true hidden gem!“
“Four of us went for dinner on Monday night. We all enjoyed our food! We had the Salmon with Vegetables, Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich and fries, Caesar Salad, Taco Salad with added chicken, and shared two desserts, the Chocolate Cake and the crème brûlée Cheesecake. It was fresh and delicious. Our waiter was super friendly, accommodating, and attentive! The inside, where we sat, looked super clean. Will definitely be returning!“

“It's up to you, gas station good atmosphere? Not really, but the chicken makes it seem better than it is, I think. If you have trouble with spicy, make sure you order with that in mind, or your chicken will have little rivers of hot sauce all throughout! If you dig spicy, well you get the picture. They have other things to eat as well, and it's open 24hrs a day! Woohoo!“

“We went last night for dinner, my daughter is extremely shy and rarely orders on her own especially in loud, busy environments. The store was not crazy, but a bit busy despite it being close to closing. Ramona at the counter made my girl calm and confident to order on her own. Then, my girl would not stop gushing over how nice Ramona was. Ramona was sweet, calm, patient, and helpful. She is a gem and it would do the store good to keep her around for a long time!“
