“This was our second visit, and the first in a few years. The beers were pretty good, and our food was as well. The service staff were all great expect for our server who also provided inaccurate information which led to us not having a great dining experience.”

“Told about this place by hotel staff in nearby Scotia. Quick acknowledgement and seating by friendly staff. Limited seating but there was room for the three of us. Large portions! We ordered the Monte Cristo and the Country Benedict. Omg soooooo good!! We couldn’t finish it all. Highly recommend this place!!!”

“Very cute outside area to order. Amazing for sunny days with a few seating areas, but better for on the go. So many options and flavors to try for very reasonable pricing. Servers are nice, very good at their jobs, they are efficient in their work so not a long wait time. There are even good options for kids or caffine free people.”

“Stopped in town for brunch, the brunch place was closed, so we happened upon this gem for some lunch. I had a fantastic burger, my wife has a tasty patty melt. The prices were surprisingly great, as was the service. Highly recommended if you happen to be enroute on the coast freeway and looking for a decent place to eat. Oh yeah, and the soft serve on a cone was only $1.25! Oh, and it's a cash only establishment.”

“GREAT VALUE. Food was above average. The arancini was FANTASTIC and could have been served at any FINE dining establishment. The eggplant rollatini was good(would order again), the chicken parm was cooked perfectly though maybe would choose a vodka sauce for the pasta it was served with. The other dish, the pasta alla norma(eggplant was excellent). We are definitely coming back(we drove from Westport just to give it a try). A pleasant surprise and must say, the leftovers of the large portions, did not go to waste!”

“Ok, I lived on the east coast(NJ) for eight years and had some great pizza. I recently moved into the area and my niece recommended this place. The pizza was outstanding. I got a Margareta(sp?) and I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I ordered another one a week later.”

“They're the only company that makes BITTERSWEET Chocolate ice cream. It's organic, rich with real cream, dense like gelato. Watch out, you'll eat the whole pint in one sitting—better buy two, just in case.”

“I went to Pepper for the first time with my dad and sister for dinner. We each got something different and all of us enjoyed our meal. I got the California Burger, my dad got the Reuben sandwich and my sister got the hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes. All of the food was terrific and our server was exceptional. We will return when we go to Crescent City in the future.”

Kid-friendliness: The mini-murphs are an excellent option that allow the adults to get all the greens or spicy things they want while the kids can have fun making their own mini cheese or pepperoni pizzas to their liking. I do wish they'd come with a sticker or some sort of fun surprise though.”
