“What a delight! The dining space is cozy, inside or out, with fabulous, intimate service. We had a lemony arugula salad that paired brilliantly with the Gorgonzola with dates pizza. Dinner culminated with house made ice cream! It took us far too long to try this gem -- get there and try it! Everything on the menu looks amazing!“
“If you want to be treated as family instead of customers, come visit MJA. I've read the negative reviews that are associated with the Yelp review, & all I will say is there are always people who find the glass half empty, but if you find your glass half full & overflowing, MJA winery is the place to be. We have been members for years, & have enjoyed the fruits of the labor that have been crafted in the beautiful art that is MJA wine. Not to mention the Hawaiian coffee & chocolate are to die for! The owner, the workers & the environment are all welcoming & wholesome. Don't bother looking for another winery, become part of the MJA family!“
“Such a cool resturant. With so much history and unique style. Honestly a beautiful spot I'd highly recommend.I got an apple martini (so good) and the gnocchi dish. I'd highly recommend both! There seem to be numerous dining rooms, all different styles. All very beautiful. We had a reservation and they got us in on time. It was crowded but not overwhelmingly so.The have two parking lots so you have plenty of parking space.A great spot for celebrations. We didn't get to call an old style cab but saw one on our way out, I'd recommend utilizing that service!“
“An enjoyable experience from start to finish. Staff were welcoming, attentive and kind. The food was inventive and incredibly tasty with the cauliflower chili surprisingly stealing the show. The atmosphere was cozy and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We definitely will be returning. There’s no place like HOME.“
“Just stopped in as we were looking at properties and needed to kill sometime. Greta food and good beer selection from the small first sample. The lobster bisque was fantastic and they have pliny the elder on tap. Also, the person running the shop was very friendly and helpful. For the atmosphere, it might not be for everyone, but it is the right feel for me, it is a place for the area and has the laid back feeling I would expect of a mountain community. Will be becoming a regular.“
“Ambience wowed from hello. Service was impeccably friendly and attentive without feeling cloying.Even tho it was past the posted closing time my request for an espresso was not an inconvenience, but met with an ofcourse, and delivered personally by one of the owners, Blaze, who underscored the entire experience with her easy elegance. And the food! 6 stars. Porcine pizza and arugula salad interpretations were divinely Devine.Definitely going back ASAP.“
“Dude...... this place is a VIBE. I've been in here a few times and I always have the best experience. Hannah is one of the owners and she's so knowledgeable with wine and always super sweet, so service is great. They have mostly imported natural wines from Italy and they switch up their "menu" or selections weekly. If you're in the area and want wine, come to this place, you won't regret it. Bonus points for the cozy, thrifted decor. I love it so much.“
“OMG this was such a unique concept!! Hanlow Thai Food teamed up with this bookstore and created a mini restaurant inside. The ambience was fantastic being surrounded by books while you dine. The service was top notch walking through the menu and describing what's in each dish and what makes it unique. All the dishes we ordered were amazing. My family enjoyed the entire experience and we would definitely go back. Reservations are a must.“
“Mellow vibe coffee shop. Good coffee featuring Santa Cruz Roasting company for drip(usually 2 selections) as well as custom coffee drinks. Limited selection of food items but what they have is good. I had the quiche...only other brunch type item is a vegan wrap. As of Feb 2024 they now close at 1230 instead of 2pm.Vegetarian options: They have a vegan Breakfast burrito.Parking: In a strip mall. Plenty of parking.“
“Armitage wines offers a truly outstanding experience. It is not just the great history of the estate which was formerly owned by Alfred Hitchcock, but the delicious and high quality wines that you can sample in this amazing setting. The current owners are very welcoming and attentive and especially dedicated to creating a great tasting experience for their guests. We spend a whole afternoon trying the different wines and I have to say it is rarely the case that I am as pleased with the sampling as I was at Armitage. Next to this, the vineyard offers amazing views. Tucked away in the redwood trees you can see for miles while overlooking the grapes from the top of the estate. When the sun sets in the afternoon, it makes for an amazing play of light and shadows. We truly loved visiting this place and will definitely come back. It is well worth a trip. If this does not convince you, please see the attached photos. I am in no way affiliated to this place, but was simply amazed by our afternoon here.“
