“The BlackYardhouse in Long Beach is a great choice for happy hour food and beer. We enjoyed the poke nachos (excellent), the Brussels sprouts (also delicious) and a variety of beers. Katie was our server and made our meal even better with her positive and helpful suggestions. This Yard House has the benefit of a great location on the marina, and offers stellar food and beer at terrific happy hour prices. Look no further.“

“Dined here this evening. We enjoyed some Cocktails to start then ordered Beef Tartare, Shrimp with Veg and Roasted Carrots. Entrees varied from Pasta to Ribeye steak and Burger. All delicious. The Carbonara needed more bacon but that was the only issue. Desserts were great. The Espresso wasn’t hot enough for my guest but overall we enjoyed the evening celebrating a birthday. Will recommend to my friends for sure. Would recommend a reservation as it was very busy by the time we left at 6.30 pm“

“My friends and I had such a fabulous time at Jolies. From the moment we arrived, we were seated promptly and warmly greeted by the host. We asked to switch our reservation to the patio, and the team was incredibly accommodating, they even turned on the heaters for us, which made the experience extra cozy and thoughtful. We started with a few cocktails, and the Passion Spritz was hands-down our favorite, refreshing and perfectly balanced. For dinner, we ordered the picanha, halibut, Caesar salad, and I went with the pho burger, which was truly the standout. So unique, packed with flavor, and absolutely delicious. The patio itself is beautiful with a lovely view, making it such a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. We're already looking forward to coming back, especially to check out the new rooftop. Highly recommend for a fun night out with friends!“

Starting with the welcoming staff at the entrance. John, your hospitality is the beginning of the joyful experience. The restaurant is so elegant. We enjoyed the vaulted ceilings with wood beams. We enjoyed the large window at the kitchen area so you can see the Chefs at work. We got to sit next to the impressive wine rack display. The restaurant’s ambiance wouldn’t be complete without the soft background music. Our waiter, Issac, was a delight. He provided us with his expertise in choosing our wines, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. It was a pleasure to meet to give special thanks to the Chef, Danny Le and Su Chef, Donald. Their expertise is why we had an amazing and delicious dinner.“

“Stopped in for lunch today after seeing a post on Instagram. It’s nice, clean and right on the corner in the shopping center. It looked like the parking lot was packed but there was plenty of parking upon further review. The waitress was so nice and sweet. (I hate that I didn’t ask her name) I got the Loco Moco and the Beignets. Both were REALLY GOOD. She actually didn’t charge me for the dessert because it didn’t come out the way they liked……. It was GOOD to me!! I am not a fan of creamy, mayonnaise, ranch, béchamel, hollandaise, type of sauce so I chose the safe route this time. It was delicious. Very filling and full of flavor. I will be back again and I did invite my friends already. Thanks Chef! Congratulations!!“

“I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting the food to be this exceptional. And that is because sometimes chain establishments are not great. However, Camille suggested a couple of dishes for us and they did not disappoint and in fact I would’ve licked the plates if it was publicly appropriate. “I recently stopped by The Cauldron for drinks and appetizers, and it did not disappoint! The highlight of the evening was definitely the French onion soup—it was rich and flavorful, truly stealing the show. We also tried the Brussels sprouts, which were delicious. The charcuterie board was a feast for the eyes and the taste buds, and the inclusion of black cheese added a fun Halloween touch. I havent eaten beef in a decade, unsure but had a taste for it today. 🤩 We shared all the goodness, short rib pizzzzzzza, BBQ scrumptious and so juicy burger, along with the poke tostada, which was piled high with aoli and fresh tartar.

The staff sets this place apart, all are welcoming, inviting and make you feel like your neighbors, including recommendations that melt in your mouth. Had to get a piece of swag memorabilia ie; truckers hat.....so much gratitude. “I happened to be in Huntington Beach for my dog and wanted to join other veterans and the places that celebrated us. I stumbled on 25 degrees. What a pleasure. The bartender couldn't have been any more of a delight. She even had them make a patty for my service dog. I met an amazing vet Darren and his lady Becca. Hi Becca and Darren. I think we are going to be great boat friends. I have a 17 foot Boston whaler a Montauk fishing boat and and need other fishermen/women to take it out. Looking forward to many days on the water. I will wear their sweatshirt with the pride I have for other veterans. Stop in and say hi. I wish I got the bartenders name. I will tell many. Love you forever!!!! Patriots“

“We are new in the area and were looking for a local friendly place to relax with a drink and some good food. What we found was a way beyond. The ladies greeted us two strangers with big smiles and huge welcomes. They quickly offered us drinks and menus then, gave us the low down on specials and a lil history of the bar. We felt at home immediately. That was just the beginning! The bloody marys were on point, freshly made (no mix crap), and the food! We ate every bit of it! Onion rings are fresh and crispy, Italian Sub also crispy with a great blend of meats, cheese, and peppers, and I believe he had the pastrami. It was almost all over when we said pics! So excuse the sloppy pics, but dont miss the cameo of that delish bloody mary and beer back! A great Go-To place! So happy we found The Marlin, we will be back. Thank you for a great time!“

Service is always great, but I’m really disappointed they removed some of the best vegetarian options. The jackfruit tacos and Buffalo cauliflower (especially the Tuesday cauliflower tacos!) were amazing. The new avocado taco just isn’t the same. It’s not about price—it’s about keeping great veggie choices that regulars loved. Please bring them back!!“

“Where to even begin with how incredible Cave Catering was? First, people were raving about the food for days. We had the lamb chops when we went for the (super professional, beautiful, immaculate) tasting and fell in love. We knew everyone would love them, and we were right! The shrimp cocktail was divine, and we also had the shrimp aguachile shooters because we couldn’t decide between the two. Grilled cheese, bruschetta, and caprese skewers were also a hit because they were so easy to eat at a cocktail hour and tasted delicious.

On top of that, Chef Nicole saved our wedding multiple times before it even happened. Any time we asked for something (renting linens, silverware, extra servers), she was quick to respond and provided anything we needed. We even texted her at 11pm the night before the rehearsal dinner because we figured out our chargers were broken. Her chargers were rented out that weekend, but she tracked some down and brought them to the wedding. The day of our event, she was on time, professional, and provided amazing staff.

We can’t emphasize enough how lucky we felt to have found Cave Catering. We will definitely be hiring them again for our next event.
