“I’m a local LB resident and today I took my family visiting from UK to LBX Hangar for dinner.

We decided that the hangar was really crowded and stumbled across the 908 restaurant. From the moment the staff offered us the chance to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere to the moment we left, we were delighted by the food choices and the service.

Their mule is amazing - the freshly ground ginger is a special touch and the whole drink was so good my “one drink only” wife had another.

My sister and I both ate the Shrimp Pho Sandwich - a unique combination of flavors and definitely recommended. The goat cheese and cauliflower appetizer was fantastic.

Their tiramisu is definitely worth ordering - even without any room left.

The best words go to their staff however - the team that helped us were amazing, Attentive and eager to please. John the supervisor was instantly on top of all issues, however minor as was Ethan.

“Our family group of 11 had a remarkable experience at Jolie’s Saturday evening. Personable and patient, Alvaro was our incredible server whose service was exceptional. The food order was perfect and each person loved their entree. The salmon dinner was moist, flat iron steak salad was tender and fresh, the vegetarian pasta was flavorful, all other entrées were delicious. The appetizers, spicy tuna stack, brussel sprouts and steak tartar were a delicious intro to precede our entrees. All perfectly prepared. We had two children with us and they enjoyed their meals which arrived promptly. Alvaro made our birthday and thanksgiving celebration so special. We will definitely return to Jolies for their fabulous service, view and food! Kudos to everyone at jolies who work together to provide thee Best!“

“Wow! This is a hidden gem! Had a few hours until our flight out of Long Beach. Found this amazing spot for a coffee and was absolutely blown away by the owner(Shannon) and the menu! We ordered 2 coffees a sandwich and a cinnamon roll. The coffees were amazing, the owner made me a custom coffee. I asked for 'Something Sweet' and the drink was so good we ordered a 2nd one. Cinnamon roll was hot, sweet, and cream cheese frosted. Licked the bowl clean! Breakfast Sandwich was made with fresh ingredients and was so tasty! We will plan our future trips to this Airport just to have this coffee and cinnamon roll again! 10/10! Oh and the reggae music jamming is the vibe!!“

“Dined here this evening. We enjoyed some Cocktails to start then ordered Beef Tartare, Shrimp with Veg and Roasted Carrots. Entrees varied from Pasta to Ribeye steak and Burger. All delicious. The Carbonara needed more bacon but that was the only issue. Desserts were great. The Espresso wasn’t hot enough for my guest but overall we enjoyed the evening celebrating a birthday. Will recommend to my friends for sure. Would recommend a reservation as it was very busy by the time we left at 6.30 pm“

Starting with the welcoming staff at the entrance. John, your hospitality is the beginning of the joyful experience. The restaurant is so elegant. We enjoyed the vaulted ceilings with wood beams. We enjoyed the large window at the kitchen area so you can see the Chefs at work. We got to sit next to the impressive wine rack display. The restaurant’s ambiance wouldn’t be complete without the soft background music. Our waiter, Issac, was a delight. He provided us with his expertise in choosing our wines, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. It was a pleasure to meet to give special thanks to the Chef, Danny Le and Su Chef, Donald. Their expertise is why we had an amazing and delicious dinner.“

“This was my first visit to this restaurant and I must say I was VERY pleased with my experience. I am vegan + food allergies and I was accommodated with care and excellency. The manager personally made my meal (lettuce wrapped veggie tacos) and it was delicious!!! I meant to take a picture. They were really good and satisfying.

“Stopped in for lunch today after seeing a post on Instagram. It’s nice, clean and right on the corner in the shopping center. It looked like the parking lot was packed but there was plenty of parking upon further review. The waitress was so nice and sweet. (I hate that I didn’t ask her name) I got the Loco Moco and the Beignets. Both were REALLY GOOD. She actually didn’t charge me for the dessert because it didn’t come out the way they liked……. It was GOOD to me!! I am not a fan of creamy, mayonnaise, ranch, béchamel, hollandaise, type of sauce so I chose the safe route this time. It was delicious. Very filling and full of flavor. I will be back again and I did invite my friends already. Thanks Chef! Congratulations!!“

However, Camille suggested a couple of dishes for us and they did not disappoint and in fact I would’ve licked the plates if it was publicly appropriate. “Yummy 😋 first time ever, in the heart of 2nd Street and I can't believe I've never been here. I havent eaten beef in a decade, unsure but had a taste for it today. 🤩 We shared all the goodness, short rib pizzzzzzza, BBQ scrumptious and so juicy burger, along with the poke tostada, which was piled high with aoli and fresh tartar.

The staff sets this place apart, all are welcoming, inviting and make you feel like your neighbors, including recommendations that melt in your mouth. Had to get a piece of swag memorabilia ie; truckers hat.....so much gratitude. “Came by on a late Friday afternoon to grab some lunch and enjoy the beach a bit. There was a rope course playground behind the building, cornhole & a big jenga block set for the kids to enjoy while we waited for our food. We got the burger, chicken, spicy burrito. None of it was mind-blowing but still very good. The chips that came with the burg were interesting, we were unsure if they were fried in-house or not but still decent if they were. The individual that served us at the window was on-point with his service, brought out our drinks for us and gave me a bag to use for leftovers. Would recommend if you're in the area.“

The food is good. We had the lobster mac n cheese. No real complaints, it was just ok. Also had the patty melt which was pretty much just basic. The server was friendly but seemed to be a bit short handed. Open area and accomodating staff, tvs on the walls. I judge based upon mac n cheese, so might try again some day.“

“Ben’s fast food is good! Healthy food with flavor, plus it’s reasonably priced! I love food that nourishes you and doesn’t make you feel like you’re going to have a food coma, and this place definitely satisfies that. I got the chicken mixed bowl, slow roasted chickpeas & potatoes, and a dark chocolate cashew pudding. Yum! FYI, Ben’s Fast Food is at a “food locker” location - it’s decently easy to find and the pick-up process is simple. I definitely recommend this place and I plan to order from here more! “Wonderful birthday dinner here with our good friends. The best wedge salad I have ever had and I order it at every restaurant. The short ribs melt in your mouth. And a surprise birthday cake and card from the staff. The small cake was a masterpiece. I would enclose a photo but can’t figure out how to do it. Oh did I mention the strawberry lime spread for the homemade focaccia bread. The service was superb and the atmosphere was amazing.“
