“Winter today and got the osada burrito Asada burrito for my husband and the Asada tortillas for my daughter. Both said that they are the best that they have had in a while. The burrito was so big that my husband can't even finish it very well proportioned. I recommend this place to anybody because their food is awesome.“

“WOW. I stopped here on the last day of my trip by happenstance and they blew me away beyond belief. From the moment I walked in the ambiance was incredible. I had beyond fantastic service and really felt taken care of. I ordered a chicken taco and a bean and cheese and was BLOWN away. The sauces are increíble but what makes this place different is the incredible tortillas. I had to take some home with me because I couldn’t live without them. Overall an over 10/10 experience and I will be planning my next trip to Long Beach just for another visit to Sonoratown!!“

“Hidden semi hole in the wall taco spot. Located in a large plaza with plenty of free self parking. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. You can see them preparing all the ingredients as well as tacos cuesadillas, and burritos. There are a few indoor tables and seating. There's also a small salsa bar.
The menu is limited and straight forward. Basically choose the type of meat you prefer.
This is not fast food. It takes time to prepare fresh food made to order.
Tried the shrimp vampiros. It's kind of like a tostada so best to eat that first since the shell will fall apart if you eat your tacos or burritos first. It's very yummy!
Also tried the chicken taco. It was ok...nothing special about it.

Definitely get the free onion and jalapeno.

The salsa bar has your
typical tomatoes, onions, limes, etc. but it would've been nice if they had cilantro
There's also two containers with free beans so make sure to grab some.

Prices are a bit high for the tacos at $3.25. The vampiro is priced right at $4.15
Portions are a bit small but they make up for it with the free beans and salsa bar.

If you're in the area, it's worth a try. There are better Taco spots elsewhere, imo.“

“Even if not stopping on the way home, the charcoal aroma makes their asada of the best fills the street almost everyday providing comfort for us in the neighborhood. As many reviews mention the pastor, it is worth its weight in gold. I bounce back and forth getting each.

My only wish, alongside one review, is that they were on the spicier side... Definitely doesnt diminish the pure excellence of this place though and they're of the best. I'll be back soon and thank you for being in the neighborhood.“

Stopped in here with a buddy to have lunch. Awesome selection of proteins to build tacos from. They also have HUGE burritos that they construct. Food is delicious. Staff are super cool. Customer service on point 👉🏻. Dining area is either clean or prepped for next use. Facilities are clean and very well maintained. Located at Bella Terra so it is very convenient to eat and take care of some shopping errands. Will surely return on many shopping occasions!

“Variety wise Guisados has the most unique flavor profiles for tacos I have come by in long beach. The sampler is a great way to get your whistle wet and see which is your favorite. The tamales will give any abuela a run for her money. The customer service is great and you can taste the love and tradition of put into each bite ❤️“

As someone who is a lover of food, and will travel for it, id like to think my standards are high. Being from San Diego - there is a huge discrepancy once you leave the city to OC and LA for mexican food. Tacos Los Cholos is the exception. This is the best mexican spot in OC that ive had in my 10 years of being here (RIP Taco Maria - but this was a different experience).

Whatever I have had here, its been stellar. From basic meats, to premium cuts, the splurge is worth it. Burritos are the perfect blend of ingredients, and no filler needed. The tacos have plenty of meat - even find myself making one into two (double tortillas on them).

Even the secondary details - Salsa's and Chiles Güeros (the chili's on the side with every order). Salsa's have a range of spice and diversity that anyone can enjoy because they are all flavorful. Chiles Güeros are fire roasted with a little salt on them - man what a detail that I have never appreciated till here.

This place will be on the permanent (likely weekly) rotation for me - all locations.“

“I visit Long Beach California every summer and was recommended this location by a local.

Their 10 dollar family meal is amazing value. It comes with 3 tacos, beans, and rice. I got the al pastor as it was on the wheel. They were amazing! Slightly charred, seasoned perfectly, and a good portion. You make your order, they give you your food, and you garnish with whatever you like.

Obviously, it's 5 stars in my book.

“One of my daughter’s favorite spots! I’ve passed by many times, and she finally convinced me to check it out. It’s located outside the Bank of America plaza on Bolsa and Magnolia, with easy and plentiful parking.

The vibe is lively and welcoming, like a family cookout. They grill pork off the spit, and beef and chicken slow cooked to perfection, all served in warm, small corn tortillas. The organized sauce bar lets you customize, and the cooks grill onions to your liking.

I ordered the asada plate, which came with four tacos piled high with onions, peppers, cilantro, and all the right trimmings.

“Stopped by Perro Exquisite Taco in Cerritos and it's a solid spot. We got the Perro Taco, Veggie Taco, Breakfast Perro Taco, and Keto Taco, and honestly, the tacos are way bigger than I thought — one taco is basically a full meal. Definitely plan accordingly if you’re ordering a few. The Perro Taco was my favorite — the asada was cooked well and had good flavor without being too heavy. The Keto Taco was a pleasant surprise, really well put together and filling. Overall, it’s a good spot if you’re craving hearty tacos that actually satisfy.
