“The food is okay to good. I always just find the layout makes no sense. You have to order in a hallway in the middle of the restaurant with no way of knowing which way a line should go and people tend to huddle up in this hallway. The service is good but they just come out and toss you your food and say salsa and chips are over there. It meant to be a sit down place but they run it as a takeout place. Its weird.“

“Authentic mexican and south-american food restaurant. The service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere could be a little bit more comfortable. The food was on point (although the fish in the ceviche was cooked and shredded) and the michelada is a great choice!

Parking: More than five spots directly in front of the restaurant but there is space to park on the street, also.“

I couldn't tell when they where done since they disappeared and didn't give a notice they where done so I stood around for 5 extra minutes not knowing they have the inside door!!“

“Let me tell you, I come from Texas which arguably has some of the best Mexican food in the country. Concerning my actual order, I only got a simple breakfast burrito with beans, and while to most people it is a basic meal, to me, it tasted like home. The burrito was a great size, reasonably priced, and was delicious! I can’t speak on the rest of the menu, but what I experienced today was a great start! I highly recommend!“

“Delicious food.... We had some red aguachiles and some green aguachiles. We’ve been here tons of times, but today when we went in, the service wasn’t the same, waitress seemed upset for some reason because I asked for extra avocado & I had to ask another waitress for some chips 20 minutes later because the original waitress never asked us if we needed anything else after they brought us our food. Besides that, food was delicious 👍🏿“

“Lupita's strikes again! Once again, completely delicious food! The quality of their food is so good that you won't feel that yucky takeout feeling after eating there! You will feel like your Mexican mom made you a batch of rice and beans! The key is their oaxacan roots! I love how they make their quesadillas with like a thick masa. The tamales are bomb, masa is seasoned correctly and then the fillings are so good. we love the chicken mole ones but also like the rajas and the salsa verde. Today we branched out to try their tortas and new burrito bowls. outstanding! Ask for some Oaxacan cheese on your burrito bowl! Okay, now the bakery... There is always a debate on who has the best donuts on the Monterey Peninsula, I always hear about the donut places, but for me Lupita's is the best. their donut is substantial and then the chocolate on top is decadent! I really keep saying, who would go to any sole donut shop when you can get so much variety here? Donuts, donut holes, cakes, cookies, pan dulce! and my ultimate favorite... a loaf of morning glory bread!!! Like a carrot cake bread with oats! trust me! super delicious! Lastly, they are super friendly! I love their staff! I am currently working with them to do custom donuts for my son's upcoming birthday! They are always willing to work with their customers to make them happy!“

“OMG. ! These are the most delicious tamales I've had. So fresh. I ordered the Jalapeño & Cheese, Green Chile chicken, and Corn. They were all just perfect. I steamed them 2 days after I bought them and they still tasted moist, delicious and fresh. They also have Elote; very good. I'm happy to support small and local business people. I'll be a regular from now on.“
