“This might have been the best coffee I've had in years and I like a good cup of coffee if you've read any of my other reviews i get very irritated at places that charge a lot of money for bad coffee and this place made the best half calf iced latte that I have ever had plus they bring in French pastry that is really excellent so I thought it was perfect and it's extraordinarily simple bear walls bear concrete floor chairs and tables I mean it is a perfect coffee shop nice music playing the vibe it was retro and I loved it“

“This place is amazing! Great sandwiches, great service, and going on the weekend to get their cinnamon rolls is a must. Only thing to note, they close at 3pm NOT 4pm like it says on Google Maps. If you show up and it’s closed, be sure to check out all the other great things Sierra Madre has to offer!“

“Great spot! My mom is celiac and it’s rare (like never happens!) that she can find a gf donut. This spot is dedicated gluten free and she was soooo stoked to visit Hello Yr Welcome twice during her recent visit to LA. We got 3 donuts her first time in and 1/2 dozen the second (bc she loved them so much). They were all very flavorful and delicious!

Staff is super friendly and we enjoyed talking with them. Oh and the coffee is great. I got some delicious espresso / good flavor and not bitter - they know how to pull a shot ☕

Also worth noting that all the breakfast sandos and other items look delicious as well! But we were just focused on my moms rare opportunity to enjoy a donut

Worth getting here early as they do tend to sell out of some flavors by afternoon. We found there’s plenty of street parking in the surrounding area, even on the weekends.

“What an absolute gem of a find! I visited for the first time today—and to my absolute delight, just five minutes from my home, I found a real maritozzo con panna that transported me straight back to Rome! You have no idea how happy this made me.
If I could, I’d give it a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars! If I may humbly offer one tiny, respectful suggestion from a passionate Roman heart: try making the cream (la panna) completely unsweetened. In Rome, we keep the whipped cream unsweetened because the light dusting of powdered sugar on top and the soft, sweet brioche bun already provide the perfect amount of sweetness.
At first glance, unsweetened cream might feel like it's missing something, but I promise you, it creates such a delicious balance that people will end up ordering two! Back home, I can easily polish off two in one sitting, whereas here I was full after one just from the extra sugar rush. (And you will save money on the sugar saved !)
Thank you for making such a wonderful place and bringing a taste of Italy so close to home. I can't wait to come back!“

“I’m not sure how this place hasn’t received 5 stars in every review?! I had the goats cheese baguette with fig butter and prosciutto and my hubby had the roast chicken. We arrived 30 minutes ahead of closing on a Thursday and despite the fact they looked to be clearing up we were welcomed warmly and enjoyed the BEST sandwiches we’ve had! Do yourself a favour and go see for yourself!“

“Stopped by on my way to work for my first visit, and I’m officially hooked! Found easy street parking right out front and ordered using the kiosk inside. It has a small interior and there were a few customers inside, however the worker was very quick with all our orders! I got a tiramisu iced latte, a matcha pastry, and a ham & cheese croissant sandwich, all three for just $8! You can’t beat that price point, especially given the quality. The coffee had a distinct tiramisu flavor, the pastry was perfectly balanced, and the sandwich was warm and crispy. Definitely going back!“

“Lil' East is the best! Great coffee and matcha! Love the mocha and cereal milk matcha. The syrups/sauces are made in house. Not a monin bottle in sight so you know you're in good hands. They sell products from other small businesses. Lots of plants and simple stools to sit on to enjoy your coffee. Support small businesses! 👏 This is one of the good ones.“

“Happened to accidentally come in during a vtuber event so the place was packed. Despite how busy it was, the maid rushed to the front door to greet us as soon as she saw us. She was very friendly and it almost felt like meeting a friend during their work shift.

“Plenty of places to sit inside. I don’t think I’ve been there and had to wait more than 5 minutes. The ladies are always nice. The French toast and menudo are worth the visit. They have a couple tvs and coffee comes around often enough or you just ask. They have flavored creamer for your coffee which is a plus. This is a regular when I’m in the area.“

“This was the first time my wife and I had been to this coffee shop. I loved the atmosphere, very quiet and chill. The iced latte was spot on. My wife and I shared an avocado toast which was fantastic, never thought to put cucumber on the toast with a strawberry but it paired well. The toast did take 30 minutes to get to us. I had to go to the to the register and ask about it. I was told that the cook never received the order due to there being no paper in their machine. It happens so no biggie. My only advice would be maybe to have offered a free coffee or some compensation for waiting so long. Overall though, this place was fantastic and I would return!“

“Absolutely love the coffee here i wish these guys would take place of all the tarbucks locations unlike tarbucks Klatch can make a great cup of joe while working the fire cleanup, we would frequent this location often definitely worth the drive even this past week i completely missed my exit off the 210 had to double back. “My wife and I stopped by Cafe Valer on a Sunday morning and were thoroughly impressed. The menu is extensive, the service is fast and friendly, and the entire space—inside and out—is spotless and well-kept.

We grabbed a table on the patio under the umbrellas. Portions are generous and the food is outstanding. My wife ordered the Chipotle Breakfast Avocado Panini with a Raw Sugar Caramel Shaken Iced Oat Milk Latte, and I had the Steak & Egg Burrito with a Strawberry Banana Smoothie. Everything was packed with flavor. We were too full to try dessert, but that just gives us an excuse to return :D

This is easily my new go-to lunch spot whenever I'm in the West Covina area. Highly recommended, 5 stars!“

“Republik Coffee is as solid as it gets. It has good food, good coffee, and a good ambiance, which makes it a great hang out spot.The breakfast burrito, an almond danish, and a hazelnut cappuccino. It's not a large breakfast burrito, but I felt like all off the ingredients were good quality. The danish was good,and the cappuccino was solid as well.“

“Ginger's Corner Market is an absolute gem in Pasadena! Its incredible location, unique charm, stellar customer service and fire menu to match its definitely a must stop when in town!

It doesn't matter what you select you wont be disappointed! Trust me, I've almost had EVERYTHING ON THE MENU!! The wedge is a delight with caramelized bacon to drool for, or the classic Cobb you can never go wrong with. My personal favorite is the ham n brie sandwich which is an incredible palate pleaser with both sweet and savory in one!

A tasty, modest menu, that has some Mexican and Hawaiian flavors. We went for breakfast and ordered the Rice Plates: Spam or Portuguese Sausage, Standard Breakfast Burrito, and Make-Your-Own omelette. Solid and filling food. BUT, the most alluring part is the family-owned business. A true, local find owned by a daughter with her mother working and helping out. A small but hard-working staff from the cook to the back kitchen. So friendly, warm and kind. A place to visit and support for all Monterey Park residents.“

The strawberry waffle 🧇 was always my favorite. 😍 My husband and I went yesterday for breakfast and the strawberry 🍓 waffle were just as good as I remembered! A thin waffle covered in strawberries with a ring of whipped and in the center. The waffle absorbs the strawberries for a delicious taste in every bite.
