“This place is pretty decent. All I really get here are fish and shrimp tacos. And I think those are pretty darn good. If I'm going out on a limb I get a bean and cheese burrito. No fluff, no nonsense, just a burrito to the dome that makes me fart. 🙂 Anyway, I think it serves better food than the other place in Sierra. Madre that's just my opinion. Service is fast and there's some good people working here. So come here eat a fish taco and shut up. Love, me. 🙂😘“

“Simply phenomenal. It takes incredible food, made by kind folks, who love what they do, to lift a stranger's spirit like my own. I had ordered four tacos: Masala Birria, Tinga Masala Chicken (by recommendation), Pibil Chicken, and the potato (Mexican potato substitution), along with a side of Mom's Beans and seasoned Cauliflower. I was nodding my head blissfully as I ate everything. The smell of spices and fresh cilantro, the taste of meaty beans and succulent poultry, and pickled onions were wildly satisfying. “If you have not had the chance to dine in at Girasol, I highly recommend it. The chicharon with guac is a must as a starter, make sure you get some of the spicy sauce. As for a recommendation for a meal, well you have to come in and try. We loved the chilaquiles, the carne en su juego, the menudo, and the breakfast burrito. If you have a sweeter taste, the French toast, the pancakes and the crepe are awesome. But as mentioned before, you just have to come in and try everything.“

“First time going there and went because of the reviews. You can tell they make their own tortillas, which made the burritos a lot better. Overall, the taste very good. I need to go back and try the chile relleno burrito. The only thing is that the order took long for having many employees there. Not only that but a few were just standing around. I feel that if you have that many employees, orders shouldn't take as long. They were very friendly though. The place is very small and not many tables. It's more like a place to order and go. Customers would appreciate more if they had more tables were they can sit and eat.“

“I love food, one of the best taco truck in the town. It's located in front of the beautiful Arcadia park with plenty of convenient parking spots, picnic tables and benches. So far we tried nacho, beef taco, fi sh taco, asada fries, quesadillas an3d horchata. They were all really good!
My only request is about the way it gets served. While the disposable styrofoam plates are so convenient, it melts! It got melted by the quesadilla and the fries.

Please please put a layer of foil before putting the hot food on the styrofoam plates. I would love to keep coming back if it's safer“

One man modified truck stand by the road side on a lot.
Staff were very friendly. Drinks and water sold separately. Community table with friendly people.

Food was delicious, tender and vegetables fresh.

“It's been a few months since we've been there. My husband doesn't care for it as much as I do. I told him let's please go and I would treat him. I was craving their beef hard shell tacos. They were closed because of July 4th holiday. Apparently, they stayed closed for a couple of days afterwards. He said that is why he feels that they don't stay open long enough for business. If you notice their hours. However, their food and atmosphere is amazing. As well as their service. One time, we ordered for pick up. They were so nice. They threw in extra chips and salsa. I had a fried shrimp taco & grill shrimp taco. My hunnis got an asada taco and a fried shrimp taco as well. They even made me a virgin margarita. We had to park on the streets which could be a hassle but we were fortunate to get a close up spot. We stopped in there on a Friday afternoon and there wasn’t many folks in there. “I stopped by this taco truck after my usual taco stand wasn’t open—and I’m glad I gave it a try. I ordered the buche, carnitas, pastor, and cabeza tacos. The carnitas and cabeza were the best—juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right.

I also had the carne asada fries, which were hearty and satisfying. The guacamole in the carne asada fries is seriously addictive, and their salsa, along with the pickled jalapeños and red onions, added a fresh, tangy kick.

At $2.50 per taco, the prices are reasonable for the quality. I’ll definitely be coming back.

“Good food, friendly owners, not expensive (~$15 a person pre-tip, and I'm very full).Their salsas are really damn good, and so is the adobada. Burritos are decent but the Mexican plate is definitely the way to go. The huasteca sauce is really good too, so I'm sure the chipotle is similarly good.“
