“I have been going to this place for years and the food has always been good! Both the pizzas and the salads are absolutely delicious! However if you like a good salad they really know what they're doing at this place! There's one with candy pecans and Gorgonzola that's out of this world! The atmosphere is a bit lacking it's more of a place for pickup, but it's comfortable enough for a quick bite.“

“This place is great. It has a really small town feel to it, so you feel good giving them your business, but yea, the pizza is great. It’s a great thick crust and awesome toppings. They are always friendly when you call in your order and then also when you pick it up. It’s in the middle of downtown Sierra Madre so it’s a fun place to hang out. Definitely recommend coming here!“

“Was recommended this place by a colleague and it was AMAZING! I’ve gone now twice in one week. Especially love the Detroit style and the two layers of pepperoni. Very quaint location with good vibes but best of all delicious food.

The guy who made the pizzas was amazing and knew exactly what he was doing. And he cooked the pizzas PERFECTLY. ZERO flop with a nice undercarriage. IYKYK. Anyway, I'll definitely be back anytime I'm in the country.“

Meal deal includes any bottled soda or from the fridge, patio seating is closed off and pleasant, although it could use a bit of cleaning. You won't find this good of pizza for this price anywhere in Los Feliz, Echo Park, Hyperion, etc. Staff are very friendly. Check this place out while it's still a "secret!"“

“Mountain Mikes brings a lot of memories from my Bay Area days!

First of all, excellent service and felt very welcomed by Miles (Go Mavs).

I loved loved the Everest and Chicken Luau. We got a medium split between two flavors and the boneless bbq chicken and it was yum! I really liked the cheese and toppings, some of the freshest ingredients I’ve had.

As a New Yorker, I hate to say it but Mountain Mikes has some of the best pizza. I find the pizza here really high quality and tasty— can’t wait to get the pepperoni next time.

I love the fountain drinks too— had the apple soda and some of the horchata. Good family vibes, love the video games and the big TVs as well.

Would highly recommend and look forward to coming back with friends and family and Laker games ?.

Parking: Massive parking lot next to Amazon Fresh. No issue with parking.

Their pizza is one of the best pizzas that I have tried from the many countries that I have into, such as places in Italy, New York City, USA, etc.. “I probably had Pizzanista three times a week during 2018 at their DTLA location and just found this location tucked away in San Marino. It was packed! Their vegan pepperoni was as great as I remember, I love their Jesus meets seitan, and occasionally enjoy their Mac n cheese pizza (it’s waaaaaay too heavy to eat more than one + only available on Sundays). This location had a large merch section that I wish was smaller so more seating would be accommodated inside. Soft serve machine was a bit runny but also not vegan so didn’t have that. Garlic knots are great and looking forward to trying their Sicilian slices they didn’t have when I would go often.

“The corn beef Reuben was amazing! It was the most flavorful and tender corned beef I've ever eaten. My only complaint was that I ordered 2 on rye and 1 on sourdough, ALL grilled. Only the rye were grilled so I had to grill the sourdough myself when I got home, which was aggravating because I was starving! Otherwise I would've given 5 stars.“

“Excellent pizza, the place is takeout only, definitely not the prettiest place, but hey, you're there just to say thanks to the folks who made your food, pay for it, and pick it up. Great crust, crunchy outside, soft and fluffy inside. Sweet sauce is not too sweet but definitely on the sweet side. Real mozzarella is not too salty, but nice gooey and melty. And fairly generous with the toppings. Great place for your "cheat" meal of the week.“

“I love the food my favorite is the linguine clams which is made with a white wine sauce but you can ask for red if you desire. Everywhere you go now a days is expensive but at least portions are large and shareable. It surprises me to read the reviews and see that people enjoyed the Tyson frozen wings they use to serve at Vittoria’s for years. I also would like to note that I love the antipasto salad and it doesn’t have only one meat as I read on one of the reviews.Also everywhere that has delivery service charges more when ordered on the app. Update: they are no longer charging for water. I can say that yes they are short staffed sometimes as well as many other restaurants have been ever since COVID. I really love the service and I will continue to be a customer for many years!! It always amazes me that people can’t see when it’s busy and aren’t understanding.“

“Great outdoor seating. Bunch of benches on a concrete slap with flexible shade cover. Of all the ones I'd been - Culver, Burbank, Little Tokyo, this one has the largest parking of 9 spaces + 1 handy! Same for the overall patio seating space. This location is much much quieter than the other roadside seatings. I always lean toward the thick square pie. Not disappointed but had to say the Burbank location is saucier. The meat lover I had was spotty with sauce, at least for this visit. Nonetheless it is still excellent. It's not cheap at 2-3x + nationally chain prices. Occasional visit and savor the moment is what I could do. Stick with bread and pizza.“

Their avocado salad is a must try as well as the other dishes. Their sauces are light n delicious. Extraordinary place to have a family evening out. If you’re a garlic lover you’ll love the ‘shroomeroni and the sausage &shrooms, both of which come with whole roasted garlic for the perfect bite. “We were very hungry, ordered delivery. I didn't know they delivered. The pepperoni pizza was good, good taste, good crust. The antipasto salad was good, although not really an antipasto. I ordered the meatballs and thought they were great. They came in a dish with marinara, onions, green peppers. The marinara was very flavorful. I put the garlic bread to good use by thoroughly cleaning the dish to get all the marinara. Less expensive Than ordering from Domino's, and much MUCH better. We've always like this place.“

“My fiancée and I wanted pizza and pasta, and we’d never been here before so we decided to have an adventure. We came in about 2 hours till close so the place was empty, but the staff was so welcoming and friendly! We bought two bottled drinks and asked for only one to be opened, and the server went the extra mile to keep the closed drink in the cooler till our food was ready.

The inside was so clean and the atmosphere, even when empty, gave the vibes of a really good hang out spot for groups of people to order tons of food and share all of it. When we got our food, it was pipping hot and it was so worth the wait. The mushroom and garlic pasta was so creamy and flavorful, and their mushroom pizza is now my fiancée’s favorite thin crust pizza. She doesn’t even like thin crust pizza! “Double play pizza has a soft spot in my heart. Everything is amazingly delicious and inexpensive. The owners are the sweetest people you can ever meet. They go over and beyond for their customers like bringing your pizza over to your car when they don’t have to. Or gifting my toddler a pizza box for his pizza play set at home. My two year old loves coming here because the owners always talk to him, give him lollipops and are so sweet to him. I’m so happy to have found this place when we moved out here two years ago.“
