“This is truly a gem of a hole in the wall!! Almost literally, and I say that with respect and appreciation. This cute little eatery is easy to miss, being tucked in a very small strip mall (if it even qualifies as that!) between a small pharmacy and a laundromat, just south of the Arco on the corner of PCH and Pacific. But once you have eaten here, boy oh boy is it hard to forget!I come here about once every other week when I'm on a regular work schedule. Became hooked immediately with their unique bahn mi sandwiches and their pate chaud. Now I'm completely obsessed with their plant-based shrimp spring rolls and their grilled pork bun bowl. That bowl is the perfect balance of light and filling, flavorful and refreshing. It is one of my lunch go-to options. And the plant-based shrimp rolls are AMAZING. Obviously I'm not vegan, but this is an item that I enjoy so much despite it all.I have yet to try their pho. Maybe one of these days. They do have seating inside, but no restroom. I particularly loved my baklava latte- definitely a yummy treat on a rainy morning. My eggs Benedict were great and on latkas?? Delicious! Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was super quick and efficient. The only downside is the parking and size of the location, on a rainy day everyone was waiting for an inside spot, so you may have to wait a bit for a seat. Thankfully we arrived early enough to not worry about that ! The food was a bit on the pricey side, so definitely be warned that two dishes and two drinks, plus tip was about $60. That brunch price may not be for everyone, so please know that it’s definitely a bit more of a price to pay but I wholeheartedly think that it was worth it!“

We had Brussel sprouts and a Bavarian pretzel for starters, then an assortment of brats and sides including sweet and sour cabbage, potato salad, and spiced green beans. I had a flight of beers, and my wife and daughter split a Sangria. Then, all three of us split an apple strudel with a scoop of ice cream. Everything was great tasting, and all of the food was neither too salty nor overpowering. It wasn't cheap, though.
