“I grew up in this area, and honestly, this mall used to feel so dead. It’s wild how much it’s transformed. I was back in town visiting a friend and decided to check it out, and wow, totally different vibe now. Even for a weekday lunch, the place was buzzing with people. Definitely make a reservation if you want a specific time, because I’m glad I booked ahead.

The atmosphere is super cute, and the food really surprised me, in the best way. I came in with low expectations, but everything we ordered was on point. Service was excellent, too. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, and kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed.

One highlight I have to mention: I asked for hot sauce on the side, and they brought out this house spicy sauce (not sure of the exact name) that was SO GOOD. If you’re into heat, definitely ask for it. It really takes the food up a notch.“

“Sunset Terrace is my "GO TO" social and sports bar in Thousand Oaks and I frequent 3 times a week. By far they have the best happy hour on weekdays 3 - 7 pm. (Drinks - 50% off / Food - 25% off). They have plenty of pool tables, big screen TVs, and the only bowling alley (4 lanes) in town. The crowd is mostly locals who welcome newbies and make them feel right at home. The bartenders and servers are friendly and efficient and I rate their food a #10. The have security and I like the fact that never have I seen a fight there. “Enegren has a great tasting room with plenty of seating. if you have never had their beer you can get a flight to sample their beers and then dive into what you like. I love their NightHawk. A dark, roasty nutty glass of deliciousness.“

“I love this place! Went several times with my boyfriend and we took many things from the menu up to now. They have great fish tacos and enchiladas. I have had also a vegetarian burrito in another occasion and liked it very much! In the menu there are many nice cocktails and drink. If you don’t know what to take I suggest the margarita flyers!“

Not too mention great ambiance, great service, and a wonderful hands on owner, Binh, who genuinely cares about your full satisfied experience. But we are all here for the sushi and again nothing else comes close to comparing in terms of quality. They are switching up what fish is in based on what's in season. “We had an amazing experience at Oka's Local Craft Kitchen & Bar! Our server, Kali, was absolutely fantastic—humble, down-to-earth, and incredibly helpful, making our visit even more enjoyable. “When we arrived a large party, with lots of noisy kids, were preparing to leave. However, it took them a while, so it was noisy and chaotic. But, when they left we really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the outdoor patio. You never believe you're sitting next to the very busy parking lot. Kevin was our waiter, again. He was very apologetic for the chaos and, as on previous occasions, very friendly and efficient. My friend wasn't hungry, so she only ate 1/2 of her 1/2 roasted beet salad. She did enjoy it and took the rest to go. I had my usual pasta with goat cheese and marinara sauce. I was hungry and ate my entire dish, whereas I normally take half to go. It was delicious, of course. Overall, we had a nice lunch and catch up. I'll be back.“

Even if you get there thirty minutes early, to sit through 90 minutes of car ads, it's unclear whether you need to push the call button or not. I've had staff walk right by me either way.
