“I can’t say enough good things about Brad, Linda, and staff. They are wonderful to be around and everyone really cares about the food. There is something on the menu for the vast majority of eaters. The garden on site is walkable and absolutely gorgeous. For food: beef cheeks, fried chicken, and any pasta you care for. Wine: a broad selection of interesting bottles Non-alcoholic: lemonade 😋“

“As a family that truly loves Italian cuisine, we’ve visited countless Italian restaurants in various regions. Buzzo Wood Fired Pizza immediately impressed us with its modern, stylish interior and its open kitchen — a design choice that suggested both culinary transparency and a commitment to cleanliness. It set the stage for high expectations.
Yet, upon entering, there was an inexplicable sense of unease. It’s hard to pinpoint whether it stemmed from the service itself or the overall atmosphere, but the warmth and friendliness we often appreciate in a dining experience felt somewhat absent.
For our mains, we ordered The Charlie Pizza and The Jenkins Pizza. The Charlie Pizza was, unfortunately, far too salty. A touch of saltiness can enhance flavor, but in this case, it overpowered the dish and made it difficult to enjoy. The Jenkins Pizza, featuring jalapeños for a bit of spice, was fine but lacked any particularly memorable or distinctive character.
The highlight of the meal, however, came in the form of the appetizer: Arancini. These crispy, golden risotto balls, served with a parmesan sauce and leek oil, were exceptional. The contrast of the crunchy exterior and creamy risotto center, paired with the rich and aromatic sauces, was superb — easily redeeming the shortcomings of the pizzas we ordered.
In the end, Buzzo Wood Fired Pizza shows great potential, with a stylish setting and certain dishes that shine. A warmer, more welcoming service experience and better balance in the pizza seasoning could elevate it into a truly outstanding destination.“

“Small place that’s perfectly understated…what more you could you ask for in a breakfast place? Well if you like salsa on your eggs, the scramble with homemade salsa is FIRE! It’s hard to stand out when serving up scrambled eggs and home fries, but I’ll be back for this breakfast.“

“The food was outstanding! We got the oyster appetizer. They were sweet and delicious and refreshing.. my entrée of the Seabass with the mango salsa with satisfyingly delicious and I would definitely get it again. We were there with our children and our waitress, kept bringing us bread and was really present with us.“

“A surf-themed shop with cool interior design and tasty sandwiches!
We were looking for burgers and were glad to find Surf City. The Philly cheesesteak is their most popular and it is excellent. The ghost pepper Jack is subtle but provides the right amount of kick. The burger was also surprisingly good, and they cook the patty to order. The Vulcan Mindmelt was okay, basically a bacon cheeseburger but in a sandwich form. A little underwhelming. The homemade chips were a nice touch. The subgarden salad was a little too sour with the dressing. You can add chips or salad for $0.99. Fries were good and came with the burger. About $16 per item. All in all a good find and would come again!“

“I placed an order for delivery today. The estimated time was 30 mins. Since Round Table didn't have a driver they used DoorDash. The dasher was over an hour late. The dasher never texted or called to give any updates on the order. I called Round Table & spoke to Amanda. I explained the issue. She asked me if I would like a new order or if she could just refund me? Amanda apologized for the inconvenience & refunded me right away. Amanda went above & beyond today. She gave great customer service. Hard to find these days. Thank you!“

“Pretty Good Advice is a laid-back gem in Soquel, serving up some of the best vegetarian and vegan breakfast and lunch around. The food is fresh, flavorful, and perfect for grab-and-go, with a farm-to-table feel that keeps things simple yet high-quality. The Spicy Boy and Good Morning breakfast sandwiches on airy ciabatta rolls are next-level—easily among the best on the West Coast. Limited outdoor seating makes for a relaxed vibe if you want to hang out, but this spot is all about quick, delicious bites that don’t skimp on quality. A must-try for healthy munchies lovers.“
