“The food was very good. One person had to flag staff down because she ordered a dish which included chicken, there was no chicken in the dish. However, a side of chicken was provided, we wish sauce was also supplied. Once our food arrived to the table, we saw our waitress once. She disappeared, we needed water, napkins. But like I said other than the mishap with the chicken mole the food was great. There was a wait of an hour. Shame on me for having a May 10th birthday. Take it from me this place is worth the wait

Absolutely amazing. The presentation was top-notch, and every dish looked as good as it tasted. You can tell the kitchen puts effort into every plate. “Fire…that’s what my 10yr old granddaughter says to say when things are really cool and delicious. So Firehouse Cafe is Fire 🔥 and I have to say my Chicken Cobb Wrap was off the charts delish!!! It was huge and had to take half of it home. It came with fries and I ordered the seasoned fries that were like a steak fry and cooked to perfection. My mom and Dad eat there all the time and love it. Dad says oatmeal is the best and it looked creamy and came with fruit, brown sugar and raisins. Mom had Cobb salad and it was so huge she couldn’t finish it. Everything was fresh. The waitstaff was so attentive and for being so crowded I was shocked how fast our food came out. We wanted for nothing except a couple of “to go boxes” and that was it. The only and I mean only thing I would say would downgrade a 1/4 star would be it’s a bit noisy when they wash the dishes up front and that is the worst of it and can be over looked cause the food and service are so fire. It’s really great to have a family owned neighborhood breakfast and lunch place that has something for everyone and when you’re there you are treated with kindness and you are really cared about. “This place is an old school Korean restaurant but the food is excellent. As someone who recently moved from Koreatown LA to a gateway city, I had to find my go to Korean restaurant and I think this is one of my favorite places. We like to get the Uhndaegoo jorim (braised black cod). Some of our other favorites are the dahk gae jang, as well as the bohtsahm. The atmosphere is very modest and simple, but this is the kind of place that suits me.

“We had such a fun time at IHOP in Chula Vista! It was the perfect breakfast spot for our family.

The kids had a blast, and honestly, the kids’ menu is one of the best I’ve seen—they just circle what they want, and that’s it! Simple, fun, and it keeps them engaged.

I had the scrambled eggs and sausages, and they were delicious, cooked just right and very satisfying. Even though we went for breakfast, some of the kids went straight for burgers and fries, which they loved.

IHOP gives you full flexibility, eggs your way, vegetarian and even vegan options, which I really appreciated.

The atmosphere was relaxed and cheerful, and we were seated right away with no wait at all.

Our food came out quickly, and the staff was friendly and efficient. The parking lot is huge, which made getting in and out easy, especially with a group.

If you’re looking for a kid-friendly, stress-free breakfast (or brunch) spot with something for everyone, IHOP in Chula Vista is a great choice. We’ll definitely be back!“

“We had breakfast, ordered off the Western menu and the eggs bene was excellent. Then we went for dinner the same night, I had the grilled mackerel and soup dinner, great presentation, tons of banchan selection, and super tasty. Restaurant is on the 2nd floor, and the service was excellent.“

I've read a lot of stuff about this place having a rude owner, but the man who helped today was everything but rude.

I came to the door not realizing it was order to go only, but he was kind enough to walk me through his menu process (QR code) and even walked the food over to my car. The next parking lot over. The owners name is David, and he informed Naka's broiler has been serving the Compton area for 66 years! This establishment is a local treasure and Should be treated as such.

We had the Banana Nutella pancakes, Chocolate Chip and Banana French toast, the Sniper Scramble, and more! We definitely will be coming back for breakfast! A five minute walk from the court houses with good food at reasonable prices. Plus, there's a lovely patio with tables to enjoy your meal in peace (other than the Cathedral chimes on the hour). It's run by the Patina group so, although the food isn't fancy, the quality is very good.“

The main reason I go here is because of their Cali Cob salad is phenomenal. As a person that has tried lots of high end salads at other establishments, this salad is one of the best cobs I’ve ever had.

Almost as great as Joey’s in DTLA. The vegetables are very fresh, the dressing is excellent. I love that it has a lot of chicken pieces that are delicious and egg along with bacon pieces. It’s a solid salad for the price and one of my favorite salads of all time. I highly recommend it.
