“Very visually pleasing! I bought two to-go and recommend eating them as soon as possible since they don't travel or store well. Best fresh and eating from a napkin while wandering around Japantown. I got a choco and strawberry (whatever had pink frosting?) one, I didn't see a fruity pebble topping one but I was there towards the closing end of their shop hours.“

“Great corner spot for easy access to donuts. Great variety, and nice staff members explaining the flavors. The display case was cute and organized neatly with name tents. Came here after an ebike tour and ordered thir famous Apple Fritter donut. Great flavor! Lovely day.

“Honestly one of the better donuts I’ve had in a minute. Especially fresh and out the grease, super tasty. They are a little bit pricey, but open late and the service is good.
Would not recommend the chocolate croissant though, wasn’t a big fan. Just stick to the glazed.“

“This has been a wonderful neighborhood staple throughout my life, affordable and reliable with good selection and quality donuts. Late nights riding the N towards the beach, this is one of the only places reliably there to get you food. During the December blackout, they were open and operating by candlelight. Couldn't love this place more“

“SREYMECH!!!
SREYMECH!!!
This is Curtis from N.Y. I came into Donuts & Things January 22, 2026. Was my last day visiting SFO. Im glad I got to try the donuts and food here. At first I think I was mistaken for one of the locals when I walked in but after talking to Sreymech and telling her who I was she realized that I was an honest paying customer looking for a good meal. The breakfast sandwich was delicious and tasty. The donuts were so soft and fresh. I never really post comments but I promised her I would. Good job SREYMECH!!!!“

“We had the apple cinnamon vegan donut with the mint lavender oatmilk latte and it was FABULOUS. Such a soft and airy dough, with little pieces of crunchy apple inside. I’m glad we found this place on our last day, for I would have eaten way more donuts than I should otherwise!“

“I’ve had donuts from all over the country and hands down this is my fave place. Soft, fresh, warm and fluffy donuts. Glazed, powdered, frosted, jam filled, krullers, old fashioned you name it they got it. My daughter adores their chocolate muffin and their breakfast sandwiches are really good to if you want a more savory start to the day. You can see the parents in the back and the 2 sons working the front and they somehow seem to know everyone in line and remember their favorites! Definitely a local gem. There are a few tiny tables (about 6 people can sit down at any time). Parking is tough - if lucky enough to get one of the parking spots go you but might want to street park or at the plaza down the block instead. Oh, and a little kid dropped their muffin and started crying, and one of the sons promptly went and gave a fresh new one to her free of charge. So sweet both literally and figuratively!“

“Classic mom and pop Chinese bakery. The jalapeño ham and cheese roll was delicious. Freshly baked chewy dough, spicy, savory and balanced. Filling to roll ratio was perfect. Lady working at counter was nice, easy in and out. No frills quality baked goods.“

“Everything about this donut shop screams delicious The girl working behind the counter was very friendly but the outside situation is a little bit funny sometimes maybe because of the hours or just because of the crowd I'm not sure but besides that this is a great donut shop“

“They tried to overcharge me for chicken wings and I had to tell them their menu price says something different. Other than that the wings were ok, prepared fairly quickly and taste pretty good. The quality is not the best but they were crispy and well sauced.“

“A Burlingame sweet American donut story pass on from a Polish Jewish immigrants- Philip Kares who open the shop in the late 1970’s; sold it to the Chows in the 80’s, to the Lu’s and now passed on to the Choi. Special memorable thanks to Philip and his family, the staffs—Kathy, Alversia, Alfonso, Mike, Ray, Steve, Genie, —and the many wonderful customers who help made this place specials...“

“The donuts here are so fresh and nice. The donut holes are a crowd pleaser and the ham cheese and jalapeno croissants are amazing. One of my favourite breakfasts with a nice cup of coffee. The glazed and the sugar donuts are super soft
Don't drive past this place stop and grab a donut and a coffee. You will be happy you did“

“Pastries are consistently fresh, generously sized, with some styles selling out of stock quickly due to popularity. The maple frosting they use is heavenly. For savory options, you can’t go wrong with any of the numerous sandwiches options; particularly anything on a croissant is sure to satisfy. Service is consistently pleasant, prompt, and accommodating. Of note - although happily accepting credit/debit cards, skip the plastic and pay with physical cash to save on your purchase. Don’t forget - tipping is good karma 💫“

“This place is AWESOME! Being vegan, I asked what was available. I was told the plain cake donut, the sugar donut and the crumb donut were all vegan! I grabbed a crumb and sugar and they blew me away. Absolutely wonderful. My partner, who is not vegan, got an egg and cheese sandwich that was HUGE and delicious! We also shared a lemonade that was the perfect balance of sweet and sour. I can not recommend this place enough. If not for the food, then for the excellent service. Definitely needs to be a stop when visiting San Fran:)“
“Very friendly couple at the counter. Always get a box of a dozen donuts here from time to time. They make them really good here, though I recommend getting them before 8am because the donut options get slimmer as the morning goes on. Browsing their menu, they have quite a variety of breakfast and lunch items that look good.“

“I have tried several of their donuts at the presidio tunnel tops, where they sell from a tent on the weekends. These are the best donuts I’ve ever had. They are best described as beautiful, so much so that I often think of them during the week. The blueberry, raspberry, Boston cream, Bavarian cream, and crème brûlée are all amazing! I hope they continue to maintain a presence in SF!“

“I have never written a review for a restaurant before, but I had to for this place. Me and my friends are road-tripping down the coast of California and we stopped for gas and noticed this breakfast spot near by. Walking in you can feel the warm energy of the owners and they are immediately there to help you. The food ended up being a 10/10, absolutely amazing. I got the BLT on a bagel and was thrilled. They even chatted with us and gave us each a free donut. The kindness of these owners and the vibe and quality of the restaurant is unmatched. I’m writing this as I’m eating I’m so happy.
The Vietnamese coffee may be the greater thing I’ve ever had.“

“Wanted a sweet treat and this adorable place caught our eye. I really only wanted the matcha but their 3 for $11 was tempting so ended up getting three donuts.
Tried the matcha one as I left the shop and it was yummy. I did notice it seems more oily than other mochi donut places and could’ve done without the extra oil. The napkin I was holding was quite soaked by the time I had finished it.
Flavours were great, soft and chewy on the inside, I think it would deserve a 5 star if they could tone down the oil a bit.“

“We stopped here for breakfast and OMG these donuts are incredible. Good variety, we liked both their old fashioned donuts as well as their novelty ones (the campfire one was my favorite, with a dark chocolate glaze with a giant marshmallow on top). Their coffee is also very good. Overall, great stop for breakfast or a mid day snack“
“I found this place while waiting for my food next door surprisingly. Other than the kid-favorite sprinkled donuts and holes, we asked them about their Filipino menu items . They apparently are known for their empanadas. People were coming in to buy trays full of them for their parties. I had to try them. Now each time I’m driving through the area, I swing by. They rarely have them in the donut display shelves. You need to ask them if they have them in the back. They do a great job for a small shop! ??“

“I think I've left commentary on this place previously.. So all truth I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! A little too much. About 10 pounds too much. The buttermilk maple warm with cold milk.. tdf. My boyfriends face is the chocolate crossiont warmed. The chocolate inside is mini chocolate chips so it melts just right. I could go on and on but you should go see yourself. Fo sho!“

“This has become our new weekend spot to pick up breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and donuts. My husband is from the East Coast and is quite particular about breakfast sandwiches and these get his approval. The yeast donuts (the glazed in particular) are really good and we love the cruffins. Vietnamese and regular iced coffees are great and they use pebble ice. Kind, fast service.“

“Wonderful texture, and great value for money with too good to go. I got the ube, churro and funnel flavors along with a iced coffee.
Ube: No ube flavor, just the color but still nice
Churro: The best of them all
Funnel cake: A little bitter weirdly
Iced coffee: Way too sweet but refreshing“

“I am moving houses and didn’t have anything set up yet so I walked over and was warmly greeted by the owner. I realized I forgot my wallet and was about to walk out, but he offered me a coffee and donut and said, “I trust you, you can pay it tomorrow”. Wow, just wow. That level of kindness took me by surprise. I drove back to pay him. A great family establishment.“
“A gem in my neighborhood that I have ignored is the small business and Cantonese bakery “Donut Time,” which sells Vietnamese sandwiches, Hong Kong Milk Tea, pineapple buns (bo1 lo1 bao6), tarts (dan1 tat6), and different Cantonese pastries.
The clerk was generous, and gracious. I ordered a Hong Kong milk tea, drank about a third of it, and politely asked if I could give her 75 cents to fill my cup with black coffee, but she let me do it for free.
The items are cheap, and if you are time-strapped and need to get to work at 7 AM, this is an excellent spot for my neighbors here on Noriega Street.“

“Walked in by chance. We were touring San Francisco and wanted to get something portable, so donuts and smoothie sounded good. Once inside we saw the two ladies making amazing ham/cheese croissant sandwich and we had to try. Delicious!! Hot and toasty from the oven, flaky croissant. So good. We also saw huge chicken burritos being made… will have one of those next time! The mango smoothie was a cool blast of flavor. Tasted like summer. We also got a glazed donut (why not?! ?) and an apple fritter. Both were fresh and delicious.Accessible. A few small tables. Street parking.“

“Don’t let the exterior fool you, this place is amazing! I’m a huge fan of the breakfast burrito (it’s extra cheesy) and the turkey sandwiches tastes so fresh. Their donuts rival Bob’s Donuts as well.

“Hey, a donut shop open 24 hours with a huge selection and clean inside and outside space. The guy at the counter was friendly. Coffee and hot chocolate. Apparently they have sandwiches too although I did not get one when I stopped by at 2 AM late on a Friday night.
No indoor seating or restroom available late at night. There was space outside to sit in the fresh air.
Got an assortment of three different donuts, and also two chocolate croissants and a hot chocolate. Try the one with nuts before I left. Very tasty!“
