“Christy Hill is our favorite restaurant in Tahoe City, and we make a point of coming (sometimes more than once) when we are here. Location is great, with a beautiful lake view - inside or outside, the ambience is wonderful. Service is great - while we only come several times a year, the team (including the owner Alex) makes a point of remembering us and saying hello. Food - the menu changes seasonally, and we've always had wonderful food. I am pescatarian, and there are always several choices (including fully vegetarian or vegan options). This past visit, my husband had the steak, my son enjoyed the venison, and I had a lovely halibut dish - all very creatively prepared and flavorful. One note - they serve beer and wine, no hard alcohol. The wine list is very good, and wines are reasonably priced for a restaurant. Highly recommend! During busy times, be sure to make a reservation well in advance!”
