“I write for a music and coffee blog called Crooners In Coffeeshops, in which I interview local musicians at local coffeeshops. My writeup reflects the positive experience that I encountered at Knottea Cafe on our interview date. As someone who willingly admits that she’s not the biggest fan of boba teas, I fully admit that I sometimes forget that boba shops do in fact carry other types of drinks. Knottea Cafe in Stanton, CA is exactly one of those shops that makes sure to have a decent variety of beverages to meet any visitor’s needs. They have everything from milk teas to smoothies to a build your own favor option, and of course, they have some wonderful coffee options for the bean lovers out there. A mere ten minutes away from Knott’s Berry Farm and twenty minutes from Disneyland Park, Knottea Cafe is a great pitstop on your way for a fun day at the amusement park.“

Super friendly staff and they are wuick to make drinks.Jasmine milk tea- creamy, good tea flavor, 50% sweet was perfect.Mango green tea- comes topped w/ a lime, I would suggest doing 50% or 25% sweetness level for this one.Overall, pretty solid boba option for the food hall!“

“Family run boba shop. Super friendly, great variety, lower than average prices, and a larger size option than typical boba places. There are closer shops near me but this one has become my go-to anyways. Staff are super nice and accommodate customization requests of all sorts. Only complaint is that they use a bit too much sweetener by default, but of course you can ask for less. But only if you order in person instead of on the touchscreen.“

“This place is a hidden gem. Their boba is always perfect and their Taiyaki is fantastic! Trust me, try one. They are incredible. The owner is also very sweet. They have themed days almost every weekend. I can't say enough good about this place.“

“When I was in Anaheim California, visiting Disneyland this was one of the places I ate at, I ate there with my dad almost everyday I was there, the food, and the drinks were all great. Both the people I saw working the counter were very nice, and efficient.

Kid-friendliness: The place has a pink pig as it's mascot, it's very kid friendly if you ask me.

Wheelchair accessibility: There were no stairs to go up, and there was a table right outside with wheelchair accessibility.“

“Pretty good Thai tea. Good options for milk substitutes. The base drink is around $6, which is pricey but around average nowadays.

Dietary restrictions: There’s a non-dairy creamer option as well as oak milk substitution.

Wheelchair accessibility: The floor is flat and not graded, but the door is push/pull. There’s enough room for a wheelchair, and chairs could probably be moved if necessary for handicap seating. Not sure if there was designated handicap tables.“

“This place is so cool! The food is so diverse and always made well. They get to know their customers, especially the manager. And the atmosphere is so cool, there are plenty of arcade games to play while you wait, so make sure to bring quarters. Definitely going to be a lunch regular for me :)“

“This place is like the best boba place I’ve ever been to . The drinks are so good. So sad that they don’t have many locations. Had go drive around 27 miles to get here , just to try this place . But is worth it . The lady helping us was by herself doing all the drinks but even then she was really nice to us . People like her are the ones that deserve good tip, even if it’s just a drink. Won’t be going as often but definitely will be going again.“

“Being Taiwanese, I had high expectations trying Gong cha for the first time, and oh boy they delivered, no kizzy! Milk tea was authentic and on point, and the assortment of jellies and boba added that finishing touch. Really thought I was back in Taiwan for a second. Wonderful.“

“I was excited to try their special drinks curated Korean Style milk teas and fruit teas. It was pretty sweet even with 50% sweetness and not much of tea flavor. They have interesting menus like Chestnut milk tea and Injeolmi cream top.

The service was great and they have cute little decorations with Photo Booth that costs $8-10. The theme is great but I wish their drinks taste better.“

“We recently ordered two boba drinks from Bobuzz, including their signature “PMC” with boba and “The Dark White.” While the overall flavor of the drinks was comparable to other quality boba shops, the tapioca pearls (“boba”) were unfortunately undercooked, which detracted from the experience. Additionally, offering customers the option to customize the sweetness level would be a welcome improvement. While there is potential, the overall experience left us with mixed feelings. Personally, it wouldn’t be my first choice for a dessert stop after a pleasant meal, at least not for now.“

“First time ever been here. I love the lovely decorations for Valentines coming. I got B2 Fresh Lemon Black Tea with Mango Boba and Lychee Jello, highly recommend for this drink if you are tired of milky/creamy boba. Service is friendly and patient!“

“On the way home so stop by this place to try it out. So impressed by the Teapresso, the aroma of the shop, the act of brewing one cup at a time. Definitely worth the money! The cup is full of tea and boba, just light ice and perfect amount of sugar! Will come back whenever I’m in OC.“

“We were in the neighborhood and sister and I had time before our scheduled appointment down the street so we decided to check this place out. I ordered the large Vietnamese coffee 50% less sweet with boba and my sister ordered the Pick of the Month regular Monster Boba Latte also less sweet. Both drinks were amazing. Honestly I could still go to 75% less sweet and the coffee would still taste great. Even my sister who is not much of a coffee drinker thought that the Vietnamese coffee tasted so good- strong but so good. Service was patient and friendly. The colorful mural is definitely a piece of conversation. Parking was adequate and the place is conveniently located near the 57 freeway.

“I tried the coffee milk tea 50% sweet, and it was the BEST coffee milk tea I've had. Even at 100% sweet I think it would still be a good amount of sweetness and not too overpowering. It was honestly really good and I would definitely get it a hundred more times.The one thing though is that they are a bit on the pricey side, almost $7 if you get it with a topping. That's definitely the upper limit I've seen, different places range from $4.50 - $7. But it seems worth it here.“

“Thank you so much KRAK Boba for my giveaway!!! It was the perfect time to bring it to my sister’s house blessing. We had so many guests ask me where the drinks and toppings were from, especially the Thai milk tea!!!! It was gone and I almost didn’t have a chance to get some for myself! I actually had to save it!!!! Everyone went crazy over the drinks and toppings and I loved the smaller cups they gave me to have for the party. A lot of the guests were also telling me they didn’t know KRAK makes party drinks and everyone enjoyed it. The only thing that I would suggest is to try to figure out some other container to put it in. I actually transferred the drinks out of the bag because it was very difficult to pour the drinks and didn’t want the guests to have an accident. I’m actually glad I thought of bringing pitchers to make it easier for the guests. And some of them were asking if I had a cover for the cups and there weren’t any.
I had to also get the Guerrilla Thai since it's my favorite drink and I can't go without it!

“I have had a few of the specialty drinks (Sunset Passion and Dragon Slayer) and really enjoyed them. However the main drink I would usually get is a Mango tea and the mango puree is more of small/thin mango chunks and doesn’t really seem like it has as much mango flavor as I am used to.“

“i wanted to visit this cafe because i saw their "boba flight" on social media and decided i neeeeeeeded to go try it. so i did! i got to chose 4 flavors for the boba flight and it was like a chef samplers plate but for milk tea, it was so cool. my friends and i shared the boba flight and had so much fun trying new and unique flavors. along with the boba flight, i got a full sized of the matcha brulee because i have been really liking matcha lately. compared to the happy lemon and omomo matcha, i think this place really showed competition. the flavor of the matcha was darker and less sweet which i really enjoyed, no additional syrups to mess with the drink. they seemed to be a little understaffed but those who were working were very kind and helpful. and lastly i tried their popcorn chicken! the sweet chili sauce made it so tasty and a perfect way to wrap up my visit to this cafe. side note, the customers sitting next to me were peacefully playing card games which gave a really cozy and warm vibe to the cafe :)“

“I go here often because it’s so delicious!! The staff were all very friendly and I tried almost everything on the menu and it was all good. If you like strawberries, try strawberry yogurt. It's so refreshing that you'll keep drinking it.
The atmosphere of the store is cozy and nice, so I think I'll come here more often.

I go here almost every time because of its yummy flavor! Staffs are all friendly and the flavors of the drinks were all good. If you like strawberry, you must try the Strawberry Yakult drink! It is so fresh and you can even chew some strawberries inside too. Also the atmosphere here is so cozy that it makes me to come here again. Highly recommend!“

“So glad I stopped by to give this little bubble tea spot a try while in Orange County!!
Los Angeles and Orange County obviously have a ton of bubble milk tea options to choose from, but this one stands out to me - here's why!

First of all, it's a very open, airy, comfortable interior with warm & cozy-feeling lighting.
It's a space that feels welcoming and invites you to stay longer than you planned, rather than other places that may give you a feeling that it's best to just get take-out and to be in-and-out.

They also have some great bites here!
We tried out some lemon pepper wings and mozzarella sticks and both were a great price, only around $5 each, and delicious! The mozzarella sticks had the PERFECT cheese pull and a great crunch from the exterior breading.
The wings could've been a bit juicier but still had a great crunch and really good seasoning/flavoring.

And of course, the bubble milk teas themselves here were great value, size, and taste!
I did a coffee on that was great with a little bit of cream cheese to top it off with.
The strawberry yogurt smoothie was also PERFECT. The flavors were all blended together just right and it had the exact texture and creaminess to it that I LOVE in a good smoothie!

All around a great and UNIQUE spot, and one which I certainly recommend!“

“I had a fantastic experience at the YNK bar. From the moment I walked in, there was incredibly welcoming upon entry. Benjamin was attentive, making sure everyone at the bar felt taken care of. Their drinks were spot-on, showing a deep knowledge of mixology and the menu. Each drink was crafted with precision and creativity.“

“Decided to try their Strawberry Ice Blended with Lychee Jelly and Ice Cream. Sweetness was not overpowering, and it was good for a hot summer day! Wait times were average with maybe a five minute wait at best. You can either order at the counter or with a self-pay kiosk. There are seats on the inside.“

“This is the best boba I’ve ever had and definitely the best in OC. We’ve been coming for years, and they are always consistent. The crème brûlée is to die for, and their taro is top notch. Their jasmine tea is also delicious. Whatever you get, will be great, and if not, they will redo it for you. The workers have always been very kind and happy, and I feel very welcome every time I go in. Bonus points for having a bathroom and for a super chic place. The cherry on top is their really great rewards program that gets you to free things pretty quickly. I really feel like Feng Cha cares about me as the customer and treats me well.“

“I came in on 12/27 around 2pm and there were 2 guys working ( Anthony and someone else I didn't catch his name tag)They were dealing with a crazy customer who was yelling at them, talking down at them over a small upcharge they didn't want to pay for. They took care of the rest of us in line while still handling her which I really appreciate. They didn't deserve that treatment and still kept a smile on their face. They kept a good attitude despite someone being rude and entitled!“

“I have gone to this place to study several times. The workers are always so nice and give great recommendations if you don't know what to order just want to explore in flavor, or have specific dietary restrictions. Drinks are 10/10! Popcorn chicken was good I recommend sharing with someone! The wifi gets a little slow when there is a lot of people but decent.“

“We hired Boba Bee to cater our wedding on the Queen Mary in March 2024 and they were awesome! They definitely delivered on their four delicious drink flavors and three toppings. Our guests definitely loved the boba bar and we had a lot of compliments. And the quality of the drinks was amazing compared to other boba shops I’ve been to. Their set up was very smooth and the decor was perfect for our venue. Working with Thao was very efficient and she was very responsive during the planning process.
