“Been in and out this area over 20 years and I feel sooo dumb🤣 I've been running to Hawthorne ca on Hawthorne Blvd just to purchase banana wrapped tamales and Martha's bakery is sitting right next to the best pizza spot around except for Johnny Blaze pizza. Before you open the door your senses and taste buds start activation of I'm here🤣🤣🤣let's go. The tamales are outstanding beautifully prepared and today I'm going after the bread and of course more tamales 😁“

Food: You are here for the Dole Whips! There are other items but I repeat… you are here for the Dole Whips. This visit was the Pineapple Upside Down Cake Dole Whips. WOW! Just… Wow! Best Dole Whip I ever had hands down. Little cakes bites with strong and awesome pineapple flavor. This is the stuff that will make me fat again. Love this and Disney please keep this on the menu.

Service: Disney cast member service is super top notch service. Compliment you cast members on the Disneyland app as that is the Disney way to tip at non-sit down restaurants.

Ambiance: Tropical Hawaii feels next to the Jungle Cruise with Fifi talking to you from her perch. Pure Disney magical feeling and it is great to be here at night with the tiki torches blazin’. Love the Tropical Hideaway!“

We love that they are big enough to cut up and share, so the whole family gets to try each flavor we pick. The staff was friendly. The cashier taking our order asked if we had an allergies (we don’t, but nice to know they care) The store was clean and the open floor plan allows you to see the staff making the cookies in back.“

“Honeymee offers a unique and delicious menu that you can only find in Southern California (as of now). The honey and ice cream are always fresh. However, I noticed that this location can be inconsistent with the amount of ice cream given. Some workers give you lots of everything, while some workers give you quite little. It would be great if they can be more consistent with their portion.“

I heard about it over a year ago but have never been able to make it here during one of my trips but this time, I made a point to stay an extra day so I could carve out some time and take this off my list. I got there on a Sunday before they opened and was first in line, I had time to look at their menu board and decide on which character I was going to get. I was like a little kid, waiting with anticipation and excitement! When they finally opened their doors, everything flowed smoothly and efficiently...you ordered, you paid and then they call you so you can watch your cotton candy masterpiece being created. It truely is an art! After mine was done, i waited for the 3 girls in back of me to get theirs done too, had to see what characters they got and I am glad I did. This pace is fun for all ages and I will be sure to add it to my list of things to do for my clients since I am a travel agent and I sent lots of families to Disneyland, so this is almost a must. I think the price is right at like 19.99. I got the unicorn and it was HUGE!!! I thought this would be a one and done type place for me but nope. ...I want to come back everytime I come to town and experience something new...oh and they sell ice cream too. Fun fun fun“
