“I have been going to roma deli for over 6 years. My kids and I sometimes go grab a pizza while we're washing at the nearby laundry place. They have a large variety of drinks and bottled water.
If we dine in we usually get sandwiches and paninis. With either fries or sides. The staff is always friendly and patient with us. The food is always good. Yesterday we got it delivered, I didn't wanna go out and I don't like ordering from delivery apps so I love that you could order directly from their website. I usually get the grilled chicken caprese panini but yesterday I tried the roma cheesesteak and that was also top tier (chicken caprese is still my favorite though) Literally everything that I have tried at Roma Deli has been good. Also I never remember to take my punch cards, I think you get a free sandwich if you fill up your card. If you have picky eaters, trust me you'll find something on the menu that they'll like.“

Budget lunch options in Sawtelle are hard to come by. At NY Bagel and Deli, you can get a good old fashion new york style bagel for less than $10 (including an add on and the egg surcharge). Their bagels seemed to be made in house. I found their everything bagel to be delicious! It was very filling as well.

I came later around 1pm and they ran out of hashbrowns. Hoping they have hashbrowns the next time I visit!“

I haven't been to the dad's deli, Langer's in decades, and forgot what a good pastrami tastes like - only Langer and his daughter do it right, and on the best rye bread in town. So so so worth every penny of a sandwich. No other deli compares. Only note would be a nicer or more comfy eat-in vibe.“

“This place is a real hot spot in you’re on the west side of town. They’re know for the breakfast options but the lunch items are just as good. The menu is very large but easy to read as they break down everything into categories. If you can order online, I would but you don’t have to unless you around 15 minutes to wait on your order to which it is cooked to order. Anything you get will be great in taste. I always order a chicken option and they’re always made to perfection. I would definitely recommend going to this place.“

“Grade A (95): St Vincent Deli, is my favorite restaurant in the alley. I can't believe how much food comes out of this tiny little restaurant. They have Shawerma (gyros style) but tastes amazing. They have fresh home made food as a feature every day. I specially love Thursdays (Kufteh) which is ground beef kebab in small finger like shape in tomato sauce and fries (delicious). The alley is an Historic and cozy Alley with hidden gems as restaurants.“

Realllyyy good fish taco, the salsa was amazing, the cabbage was crisp. Would definitely come back to try the shrimp tacos. Give Elsa a raise, she is nice and gives great service.

In regards to the star rating I gave, I gave four stars because the prices for other items were really high. The tacos were well priced, but I was interested in trying the veggie burger in the future and saw that they were charging $18 and some change. I know it’s DTLA but those are some sit down and have a waiter come to you prices. I’ll still consider coming by for a taco, but I’ll skip on anything larger.“

“The quality has remained high since my family started going there back in 1961. You can’t go wrong with any selections, although their original combo will always be my favorite!“

“I tried this place for lunch since I was looking for something new that also wasn't so heavy like other items around the area are. I chose this place because the of the reviews and also their menu. It seems all over the place since it goes from wraps, to sandwiches, sushi rolls, poke, smoothies, ice blended drinks, and even boba!

I ordered the chicken wrap for lunch and chose a side of potato salad. You have three options, which are fries, salad or potato salad. I'll try the other two the next time, maybe with a sandwich. The chicken wrap, I assumed, I was going to receive cold. To my surprise it was warm and that's because it comes with freshly grilled chicken. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and surrounded by crisp veggies. It also had like a ranch sauce or caesar dressing sauce or similar. But it all worked out well together.

The potato salad was just okay, and it was nothing amazing. It had a decent flavor. Personally, I would not order this item again as it could have been better.

The ice blended coffee was great. Exactly what I had expected from an ice blended beverage. Nothing amazing and I would order it again, but this time in a larger size for me.

Overall, this place was much better than I had expected, and it does deserve it's rating as the food was packaged neatly, looked great and tasted great. I will definitely be coming back to this place to try their other items. The place is nice and the prices are more than fair and inexpensive.“

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fat Sal's, and it was an unforgettable experience! “This restaurant is kid of hidden, hard to spot when driving by. The restaurant is clean and well kept the food looks fresh and good. The staff greets you when you enter the door and is very friendly they answered all the questions I had of the menu and offered me alternative in case they did not have some of the ingredients. The restaurant has shared parking in the shopping center and is plentiful. I had the pastrami sandwich with a broccoli salad and an ice tea drink for 25 dollars. The sandwich was a decent portion size and was really delicious, definitely worth it. The broccoli salad was also very tasty, I would recommend both of them. Overall this restaurant is a must visit if you are in the area and need a quick bite for lunch.“
