“Cool little bar, not a lot of room, but I think this is the type of spot you pop in on the way some where else so not a lounge type of bar. We met up with friends here before a concert and its was nice. Bar tenders were very attentive and made sure we were taken care of while we were there. I ordered an espresso martini, superb! Almost got another one but didn't wanna go overboard before the concert.“

“THIS!!!! Is the place!!!! Bartenders are amazing here (shoutout Rocky and Lindsey!) Food is INCREDIBLE here. Idk where to begin??? Must gets: fries (fresh!!!!) onion rings (crispy and seem home made!!!) mozz sticks and sliders were fantastic as well. I’ll be back to try the most popular fish n chips. We ate and drank (& sang!) our way through a very fun karaoke Sunday night hosted by Monty who was a blast!! Looking forward to trivia Mondays starting here in August!!“

“From 9-11:30 most Monday nights, come to this small bar to see the miracle of the Hot Club of Los Angeles, an amazing 5 piece embodiment of Django Reinhart's 1930s jazz spirit. Their second set may start around 10:45 if you'd like a bit more room. No snacks, no food, no nonsense...just as good a band as you'll ever see in a space this small. Tommy will take care of you behind the bar. Guinness can, served in a glass, $10 in June 2026. Enjoy!“
“Since moving from the East Coast over five years ago, my partner, our friends, and I have been coming to the Drawing Room almost every week. This bar is truly such a delight to be at! I have been coming every other day now that we are in the NBA finals!
The bartenders are always on point with the drinks and do an incredible job of making not only us, but all of the patrons, feel welcome and comfortable. I have never had a bad experience with any of the bartenders at this place! We always seem to stop by when Ashley is working, and that's no coincidence. She greets us the moment we walk in, offers snacks during major sporting events, and creates such a fun atmosphere that we never want to leave.
Ashley remembers our drink orders every time, is incredibly charismatic, and has a way of making the entire bar excited to be there. You can tell how much people love her—customers walk in, immediately give her a hug, and are genuinely excited to see she's working. It's wonderful to see such a strong local community gather here.
We can't wait to spend the summer at the Drawing Room. Thank you for being one of the most amazing neighborhood bars in Los Angeles!“

“Very cute hole in the wall or what you would call a dive bar! Very small and intimate definitely a good place to go if there's just two or three of you not really a place for a large group. They have some tables as well as a pool table, the drink selection is well-priced you can get a beer and a shot for 9$ which is amazing definitely not top shelf but for today's economy it's great also Mari is amazing ❤️“

“I don’t know much about LA and I was somewhat worried if The Echo would be located in a good part of town. To my pleasant surprise, The Echo was located in an area that felt like a small town. It was bustling with concert goers who seem to be conscious of everyone’s happiness and safety. The feeling of community was strong. The venue was small but comfortable. The staff were helpful. Venue doesn’t have a full bar so don’t expect to order specialty cocktails. Paid $500+ for this particular concert.“

“I came here on a whim after wanting to avoid the crowds at Zebulon. Honestly this bar is a hidden gem, and thank god it hasn’t been flipped upside down and turned into condos. The outside is a neon lit heaven from the 1960s. You enter and the staff are warm from the get go. There is a left and a right side to the bar: The right side is a sizable dance floor complete with a gigantic disco ball, Dj booth, a couple leather booths, and panther sculptures. They played disco and funk this very day and the crowd was diverse and cool. The left side is the bar where there a probably 5 or six extremely comfortable retro leather booths. They have a great tequila selection but you can also order a $4 Tecate. My kind of joint full of vibe that i can’t wait to try again!“

But let’s be real , she is the real star of the show is Courtney behind the bar. She doesn’t just pour drinks, she makes the whole night better. Quick with a smile, sharper with a comeback, and she’s got this charm that makes you wonder if she’s mixing drinks or just straight-up magic. I came in for a cocktail and left wondering how someone can make bartending look that good.
If you’re looking for a place where the atmosphere is fun and the company is even better, O’Grady’s is it. And if Courtney’s working? Let’s just say you’re in for more than just a great drink.

I'll admit, I didn't expect to fall in love with El Potro Bar. At first glance, I thought it might not be my vibe, but boy was I wrong! This hidden gem has become my regular haunt, and for good reason.
The real stars of the show are bartenders Alejandra and Raquel. They're two of the kindest, most attentive, skilled and attractive bartenders I've encountered in ages. Their warm smiles, quick wit, and expertly crafted drinks make every visit a delight.
Sure, the atmosphere might be laid-back and slow-paced, but that's exactly what I've grown to appreciate. No pretentiousness, just genuine hospitality and a cozy ambiance that makes me feel right at home.
Alejandra and Raquel know their stuff, always willing to offer recommendations or whip up something special. Their passion shines through in every pour, and it's infectious.
Don't let the slow pace fool you - El Potro Bar has become my favorite spot to unwind, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a perfectly chilled beer.
*Recommendations:* Come on Thursday and Ask Alejandra for a bucket of cold beers!

“OK. The staff are awesome. If I’m in Echo Park, OBVIOUSLY, I am gonna stop by Little Joy. Sometimes Tina DJs and she plays stuff like China by Red Rockers and that is just amazing. But what keeps me coming back is Wednesday night karaoke with KJ Jonathan. Every Wednesday from 10:30pm to 1:30am, KJ Jonathan brings his awesome, sweet, hilarious sensibilities to Little Joy and makes all your karaoke dreams come true. Like karaoke? You owe it to yourself to call in sick on Thursdays and make it happen. DO IT.“

“Opening at 5pm Boardners has become our local go-to for my husband and I as this was where our first date was. There is such a positive vibe to this place that makes me proud that this is the neighborhood I live in. The staff and patrons are artistic in every different type of cinematic field. Eli, Cat & Keenan are all equally amazing to us and always have been kind, consistent and fun to talk to. And can handle this sometimes very high volume barscape with ease. I recommend the entire menu but tend to ricochet between the steamed dumplings, the angel hair pasta and my favorite salad in town - their Cobb Salad - which happens to have been invented in Hollywood, so its nice that Boardners makes a solid one. Speaking of history, Boardners is that - from the classic Hollywood studio system era onwards this place has served the hard working people of the Motion Picture Industry and you can feel it. There is something special here that makes you want to stay the night, journal, meet new talented friends and enjoy the vibe as it opens up into a busy fun place. A true Actor & Musician hangout ! Every time I'm here I get into awesome conversation with talented and very funny people who are either writing their own content or just performed for the day on a set! The back courtyard is a great place to take guests who visit as it adds to the whole Hollywood vibe and hosts live music some nights and the acoustics are perfection for this.“
