“Been coming here for as long as I can remember - I suppose as long as this iteration has existed. The H.Way Frontier is a place you’re introduced to early on if you’re below the line film crew in Burbank running with a rigging or art dept./set Dec crew. This storefront carries on the tradition as I’ll often bump into fellow industry crew here.
All that stuff is well and good but the real reason we congregate here is THE FOOD. There are other good Chinese restaurants in LA but this place to me is by far the best. Consistently wonderful, delicious, very good portion sizes and a nice menu variety. It’s quick (15 minutes or less) and the lunch specials are a great deal. I’m not usually this gushy about anything but Frontier Wok Too deserves every bit of praise I can throw at it. If my family is in the mood for Chinese Food there’s only one choice for us and that is right here. With no traffic it’s still a 20 minute drive one way but it’s worth every minute once we’re sitting down to eat it. You can’t go wrong at Frontier Wok Too. If you haven’t tried it you simply must and you can be the judge.“

“I am highly critical and have a very high standard when it comes to Asian cuisine, but I can confidently say that Western Wok was fantastic. The lettuce wrap filling was incredibly flavorful—I devoured it all in a matter of five minutes. The fried rice was equally impressive, and I appreciated that the dumplings were perfectly cooked, rather than overcooked and mushy. They certainly don't skimp on the portions either; I have plenty of leftovers for a late-night snack (or breakfast tomorrow). I highly recommend Western Wok if you're craving delicious Asian cuisine, and I look forward to ordering from them again soon!“

“I have been going to Green Apple for many years. The food is fresh and really good quality. The portions are generous. I have turned my family onto GreenApple and the love it too. “Authentic Filipino. We ordered the Maki without noodles (9.50), Miki Bihon (9.50), Kikiam 2pcs (12.50). Paid around $40 including 3 canned drinks. Order the Kikiam. It was so good and really reminded us of home. The miki bihon was legit as well. I liked the Maki but my dad said it should not have ginger in it. Must try little hole in the wall.“

One thing that make me little bit sad (but this because of my knowledge of english, it's really bad because I'm not a native speaker. This is my second time at this establishment. I ordered food on the spot, but instead I got to-go, but they brought me plates later and I moved food by myself. No, it's really just me. I even pronounce soup incorrectly, as soap. And when I asked for a plate for soup, I asked for a bowl instead of a pot.“

“I had dinner at Gourmet Palace China Bistro on Saturday around 6:30 PM with my family and ordered the orange chicken, beef with broccoli, shrimp fried rice, and a basket of steamed dumplings to share. Everything came out fresh and hot in about 15 minutes. The orange chicken had a crispy coating with a flavorful sauce that wasn't overly sweet, and the beef was tender with plenty of fresh broccoli. The shrimp fried rice had generous pieces of shrimp and wasn't greasy, and the dumplings were soft with a tasty filling. Our server checked on us a couple of times, kept our drinks refilled, and made sure we had extra plates for sharing. The restaurant was clean, the portions were generous, and we even had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. It was a great family dinner, and I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.“

“Sun Moon Garden is one of those extraordinary little establishments that reminds me why exceptional food should never be measured by its price tag. For what I consider an almost absurdly affordable price, you're getting Chinese food that genuinely rivals the quality and execution of establishments charging two or three times as much. It's an absolute treasure in Burbank, and one of my favorite examples of how extraordinary food can emerge from the most unassuming places.

Their chow mein is nothing short of magnificent. There's something incredibly satisfying about the texture of the noodles, the richness of the seasoning, and the way all those wonderful savory flavors come together without overwhelming one another. It's such a fundamentally simple dish, yet when it's prepared correctly, it becomes something genuinely exceptional. Every bite is wonderfully satisfying, and I find it remarkable how something so straightforward can deliver so much flavor.

And then there's their orange chicken, which is absolutely unbelievable. The contrast between the crispy exterior, the tender chicken underneath, and that wonderfully rich, sweet, citrusy sauce is everything I could possibly want from this dish. What makes it so delicious is the balance. The sweetness complements the savory qualities of the chicken rather than completely overpowering them, creating something incredibly flavorful and almost impossible to stop eating. Paired with their chow mein, it's one of my favorite combinations in Chinese-American cuisine.

What I particularly admire about Sun Moon Garden is the complete absence of pretension. There's no elaborate presentation, no fashionable culinary gimmicks, and no attempt to convince you that an expensive dining experience automatically translates to superior food. Instead, you're getting generous portions of genuinely delicious Chinese food at prices that almost seem unreasonable considering the quality.

I've always believed that the greatest establishments are the ones that understand the fundamentals of what they're making. Sun Moon Garden exemplifies that philosophy beautifully. They take familiar dishes, execute them exceptionally well, and offer them at a price that makes the entire experience even more remarkable.

An absolute gem of a restaurant, and proof that some of the finest meals don't require an extravagant bill. Their chow mein and orange chicken alone are enough to keep me coming back. Five stars without hesitation.“

“Very good food with huge portions, nice people and quick service. Buying for one person I have learned not to go on the weekends because the lunch specials don't apply and you have to purchase a ton of food just to get 2 items ($50). Way to much food for one person to eat. Love the food though.“

“Black bean fish was superb! It came out hot and fresh in the fish was so fluffy and flavorful in the sauce. It was delightful. I grew up ordering house special fried rice, but my husband prefers chicken fried rice. Most times I’m disappointed and longing for my childhood staple but this chicken fried rice was actually flavorful and delicious. The chicken was very fresh and tender. Now, unfortunately, I ordered the roast duck and roast pork plate and left most of it on the table. It may be because it was the end of the day, but it was very lackluster. It tasted stale. The skin was not crispy and we almost asked to have it taken off the bill, but I did eat a lot of the duck so we just know not to order it again. The duck was at least edible. The pork was not. It was just so dry and lacked flavor. The skin looked crispy, but it was not crispy at all. It was leathery.“

“Dined here around 3:30pm and it was empty, so great time to come! We ordered sweet & sour chicken, orange chicken, chicken chow mein, and Mongolian beef and all dishes were delicious! Portions are big (we all got small but we all had lots of leftovers).

They also have boba milk tea which was one of the best we've ever had. It wasn't too sweet and tasted like they actually used real tea. Perfect for a hot day.

I was here often around the end of 2019.
I remember they used to have good chicken wings. I haven't been here since then untill today, and I won't be here maybe for years atleast since I eat almost everywhere.

By the way... if you're on a budget, this place is a good place to eat. Their portion is generous and the foods are good. The Chinese lady who take your orders, scoop the foods, and charge you on the register has been very nice everytime I visit this place, doesn't matter how long she hasn't seen me, she's always kind.“

“We used to have a Paik Noodle’s in our area, and it sadly closed 😭😭. Excited to find one within driving distance. Very clean, good service, and the food was delicious!

We walked in really late but they were very hospitable and we were still able to eat in.

We ordered the jjajangmyeon, tangsuyuk, soy garlic wings, and sweet and spicy wings. Everything was delicious. You can’t go wrong.
They gave us some jjambong (soup only) as well. That was also delicious. We seriously ate it all.“
