“Excellent Northeastern / Isaan Thai cuisine, I tried a few favorites - mango salad, laab moo, and the sausage. The sausage was excellent, packed with spices and herbs with a snappy skin. The mango salad was also excellent, I got medium heat and it was a good punch with great textures and a perfect balance of fish sauce, lime etc. The laab moo was served warm with fresh pig skin, which is not my personal favorite style but the flavors were great, I just don't love the texture of the softer ground pork and skin myself. The staff was prompt and professional, and the small space was simple in style. I'll definitely come back.“

“We had lunch here on our way to Hollywood. Better than any Thai restaurant we visited in LA. Their Khao Soi was delicious ! We ordered both dry and curry - both were fantastic. We ended our lunch with a matcha mochi ice cream - can’t even describe the flavors. The staffs were very friendly. Will stop by again on our visit to LA.“

“Fast and helpful service in a cute vegan cafe with a parking lot and real fresh flowers on the table. The Mac and cheese was very good, but I was most impressed by the shrimp tempura roll! As a lifelong vegetarian, vegan sushi can sometimes freak me out, but this one was incredible! I would have gotten another roll if I wasn’t already so full! Will def come back to try more of the menu.“

“I ordered the Walnut Shrimo salad. It was AWESOME. The shrimp were a nice size, as was the walnuts. It comes with a spring mix , carrots grape tomatoes & cucumbers. With a Honey mustard dressing which really brings out the flavor of the ingredients. I highly recommend this salad.“

“I have passed by and I got curious, I ordered through uber eats and their pork got me hooked!!! Now I go here to eat in their restaurant. It is a little bit small so on a busy Saturday lunch you might wait in line, their parking is by Dixie hotel, please make sure to ask the servers a copy of what you need to put in your car so you don't get towed.“

The restaurant always appears empty but I noticed that there are a lot of customers that came to pick up their orders, probably because the parking lot is very limited. “The grilled pork collar, the khao kha moo, is the dish that most regulars gravitate toward first, slow-cooked pork leg over rice with a dark, sweet braising sauce and a soft egg alongside, the kind of composed plate that operates at the intersection of comfort food and actual cooking. The fried pork skin served with a larb dipping sauce is the snack that arrived at the table first and was gone faster than anything else, the skin light and airy and the larb funky and herbaceous and the kind of thing that makes you understand why certain foods become obsessions. The pad see ew is the noodle dish most people know and want, and the version here is properly wok-charred with good smokiness in the flat rice noodles and a soy-egg combination that's been executed well rather than just thrown together. The papaya salad has a heat level that earns its reputation, bright and tart and genuinely spicy in a way that doesn't ease up. The mango sticky rice at the end is generous and properly made, the coconut milk soaked deep into the rice and the mango sweet and ripe in a way that seasonal sourcing makes possible.
The wine program here is notably good for a casual Thai restaurant, which is part of what makes the whole experience feel more considered than the room might suggest.“

“If you want authentic Thai food that is the style of Bangkok, this is the place. Khao Soi and Boat Noodle are specialty dishes and not always on the menu in your local Thai restaurant but this place has the best I've tasted. Very clean and reasonably priced, Boran is right at the beginning of Thai town here in Hollywood, give it a try... you will love it !“
