“Found this place while visiting the walk of fame and it’s a MUST STOP!.
Regarding food I’m going to give it a 10/10, and can sum up the review on: it has that “home food” taste on dishes that are supposed to be that way, and street food taste on the street food dishes they serve. Overall impressed with this place and will be definitely come back. Between my party we tried various dishes and liked them all.“

“Pailin Thai Cuisine was the first place we had dinner when we arrived in LA in August 2024. It is some of the best Thai food we have ever had. The dishes are kept simple (as they should be) and at the same time the flavor combination is fantastic. Only five stars and a huge recommendation from here. In addition, the price is more than fair - it is the cheapest (but the best) meal we have had so far on our tour of California.“

“Best place to have northern Thai food in CA. We tried most of every menu they have and found that the test is very authentic. Our favorite dishes are the northern sausage and the chili pastes menu. Services also really great for the small restaurant. The server she always asks how much spices you want and recommends dishes for you.“

“We had to ask for chopsticks twice even though my friend is Asian! If you get curry noodles, wear your napkin as a bib: I had to run home and spot my white shirt. The beef was delectably tender and the fried tofu crispy, but I'd recommend a vegetable dish if you want more than meat, carbohydrates, and sauce it your meal. Great flavor either way!“

“Flew down from Canada and my friend recommended my wife and I come here. Such a good recommendation! 10:10 recommend the pork combo player as well as tofu pad thai and any of the starters.
Parking: Probably 12 spots
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, just a curb“

“Hidden gem alert! This little hole-in-the-wall pho spot blew me away. I ordered the pho chicken, and it was incredibly tasty – rich broth, fresh herbs, and perfectly cooked chicken. The staff was super friendly, and my food came out fast, which was a nice surprise. Plus, the place was clean and well-organized, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a delicious meal. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality pho and great service!“

“My wife and I took a cooking class at Dek Sen, and had a fantastic time. Their cooking class let you spend 45 minutes in the kitchen before business hours learning to make Thai cuisine, and we were taught shrimp rolls, chicken Tom Yum soup, and beef fried rice. The instruction by the owner was one-on-one (my wife and I as a couple) and she gave great instruction, easy-to-follow technique, and fun background information about each dish. then, we sat in the restaurant area and ate our meal - which was excellent. This is a great, affordable, "date" activity for couples, and I'd highly recommend. Also, this is our new go-to Thai place in the neighborhood. Thanks for the awesome experience!“

“Hands down, this is one of the best Thai food restaurants I’ve stumbled upon. The two young ladies I met when picking up my order were so sweet. I felt very bad because the DoorDash delivery guy had stolen the original order, which was well over a hundred dollars worth of food. Not only did they replace the order, but added a couple of items for the inconvenience. Every single dish was absolutely delicious. If you enjoy chicken wings, there wings are heavenly. Honestly, some of the best wings I’ve ever tasted, cooked to perfection. And the quality of beef and chicken they use is well above average. The steak in the Thai salad was so tender, super lean and not even slightly over cooked. This will now be one of my family’s “go to” Thai restaurants in the neighborhood. Support a wonderful local small business ran by genuinely good people! You won’t be disappointed.“

“Well priced, authentic Thai food! Lams looks like a small hole in the wall, but the food is extraordinarily delicious. I ordered 9 meals for a group of friends and on pick up it was ready on time, packaged beautifully and still very warm. Every meal was perfectly cooked and so tasty. Just an incredible, friendly, quality Thai restaurant. I've been ordering from Lams since before Covid and it never seizes to impress. Do yourself a favor.“

“This is the only place on this side of LA that I'll eat Thai food. Nowhere else competes. The folks working here are among the kindest I've ever met. We've been coming here for over 10 years now. The food is consistently delicious and fresh. The aroma and flavors of the food are unmatched. If I were to eat Thai food somewhere else, at this point, it would feel like cheating. Pan Tang does every single aspect perfectly! I genuinely would not change a single thing about it. If you live nearby and haven't had them, you're seriously missing out!
Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious meat free options.
Parking: Regular street parking, on the main road Foothill.“

“A nice, family owned Thai restaurant with good prices and massive portions. This is a great place to go if you’re waiting for your appointment at SDI across the street. I had the pad thai without egg to make it vegan and they happily accommodated. Will come back again.“

“Been going here since before the Pandemic and it's always great! However, today they asked us to see our Vax Cards and Id's, that was a little uncomfortable. If I was the owner, I'd loosen up on that and not do what you're told. It's your business and it's on its last legs. It was much better when YOU called the shots and not the Government. Otherwise foods usually good and authentic.“

“I was looking for a quick lunch while I was out walking my dogs. I was craving Thai food and stumbled upon this place with a few small tables outside. The staff were really friendly and even brought water out for the pets. The menu is extensive and I appreciated the photos of each dish because it helped me order new items I haven’t tried. The food came out quickly and was really good. I recommend!
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options and clearly labeled dishes
Dietary restrictions: Plenty of options on the menu and made to order noodles
Parking: There’s a valet that’s $3 for 90 minutes but there’s also free 1-hour street parking nearby
Kid-friendliness: Would recommend - extensive menu
Wheelchair accessibility: All one level“

“We have driven by the spot dozens of timesThe last time we passed, we made it in.Very beautiful decor, classy, clean. The staff is very friendly. The food is unbelievable.Best Thai place to dine.I will go back for sure.Only thing of it is, the server told me “not to do take out” the next time I was in, even though I dined in which I thought was odd.(???)A bit pricey too.Other than that, I do recommend.“

“Love this new find! Lots of delicious gluten free options, which are clearly marked on the menu. They use locally sourced and whenever possible organic veggies. No msg. I love supporting conscious restaurants like Spice Season. I can’t wait to be back to try the caramelized egg, chicken fried rice and vegan coconut sorbet with sticky rice again!“

“Came here yesterday for the first time after visiting the Thai market across the street. We had a beef noodle soup and a Thai curry pizza, they were both really great! I think I'll like their marinara sauce pizza more because the onions were a looooot for me. But if you love onions, this is the place!!!The pizza dough and crust was just ? great. Soft, pillowy. Definitely recommended. The beef noodle soup was great too!!! The perfect touch of sweetness and spiciness. Super flavorful. And the folks here were super welcoming and nice! Would definitely recommend this joint!“

“When I went there because it was recommended to me, it was so crowded that I couldn't eat inside.
I tried to make a reservation through Google in advance, but I was unable to make a reservation due to a mysterious error.
I couldn't give up and ordered takeout.
There aren't many items on the takeout menu, but it's by far the most delicious Thai food I've ever eaten.
I've eaten Thai food in many countries, but even take-out food is so delicious that next time I'll definitely eat it freshly prepared at the restaurant.“

“Menu is completely vegan. It was fantastic. We especially loved the Tom Kha Soup and the Tempeh in the Veggie Love stir fry but EVERYTHING was terrific. The service was amazing, every bite of food was unbelievably good, the restaurant and bathroom were immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, parking was easy and free in the lot outside the restaurant. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Just discovered this little gem of a food truck yesterday and man I gotta say it’s literally the best Thai food in north Hollywood by far. Hands down the most authentic flavors and so affordable, I paid $30 for a delicious bowl of Tom Kha and pad see ew. This is the only place I’m going for Thai food from now on and bringing all my friends to help support this small business ?“

“Unlike other Thai food we have had. Felt more authentic and had unique dishes we had never seen before. Tiny little place at the end of a dingy swap meet but the excellent service and loved everything we got.
Vegetarian options: Dishes could be done with or without meat
Parking: Large parking lot
Wheelchair accessibility: Seems accessible. Might be a little tight in some of the swap meet aisles.“

“This hole-in-the-wall Thai Town spot in East Hollywood is all about the roasted duck—juicy, tender, well seasoned, and not too oily. They have your standard Thai dishes like pad see ew and papaya salad, which are decent, but nothing special. Loved the variety of hot sauces and pickled chilis!
Authentic flavors and quick and friendly service, though English is limited. Tiny space, so there can be a wait if you come at the wrong time. Parking is tough. A bit pricey at around $40 per person ($25-30 if you go light), but worth it if you’re craving that duck! Would come back if I'm passing by.“

“The best family owned restaurant! I have been coming to Tub Tim since I was a child and it remains one of my favorite restaurants! Beautiful atmosphere and food that reminds me of Thailand with amazing service. Fresh ingredients with an enjoyable menu selection for affordable prices. Every dish is delicious and their pad thai is my absolute favorite! I order it without peanuts due to allergy and they never mess that up! Check them out if you haven’t!“

“A nice spot in thai town. You van throw a rock and probably hit a place that has delicious food in Thai town but this place is very tasty. One of, if not the best duck noodle soup in los angeles. (Sweet Rice in gardena might be better but they're different). The GA Pow with crispy pork was so good. Also, must get the thai iced coffee. Sep 23 it was 2 dollars. Unless it was a mistake it is quite possibly the best deal in America for a beverage. And it was very tasty.“

“This is by far the best Thai food I've tasted, every thing we have ordered there was extremely flavorful and very authentic.
I have been to Thailand many times so i know authentic Thai food when i taste it.
The staff are very friendly and the prices are very reasonable.
The car park can get a little full but there is extra parking at the rear.
Id like to say this is a hidden gem but its getting quite popular with the staff from the hospital over the road.“

“Always reliably good food. I recommend sticking to the Thai classics. They have been incorporating some of the favorites from their Thai language menu into the main menu and these are some of the more interesting items, dishes you may not find at the other Thai places in Sun Valley (or Burbank for that matter).“
