“This place is an institution and it is very good but not going to be your typical sub shop you likely are expecting. They are CASH ONLY, and all their subs coming with the same ingredients, no lettuce. The pickles, onions, and tomatoes are not slices, they are chopped up and literally scooped up and place on the sub. It is delicious and they are very large portions, just not typical, know before you go! Try something different, you may like it!“

“I absolutely love this shop, it would be dangerous if I lived in the area… it’s located on Magnolia Street in a cute Burbank neighborhood, Little Nelly fits right in with its charming storefront and welcoming vibe. The staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. Even though I don’t live in the area, I have friends who do, and I often swing by when I’m in town because I also get my hair done at Dylan Keith salon nearby.

What I love about it: it’s a perfect place to pick up a thoughtful gift for the foodie in your life, and the food is consistently fantastic with something new to try each visit. The display and packaging feel special—even the jars add a cute touch.

Recent highlights: I went with the Lil Guy sandwich with French ham and a chocolate chip cookie to-go. So good on the drive home to Orange County. I also grabbed a jar of their buttermilk dressing to save time at home, and I brought home a quiche and a biscuit—both were amazing. They rotate items based on what’s in season, which keeps things exciting.

Why I’ll be back: it’s a small business that truly cares about quality and presentation. The location is convenient, the staff are friendly, and there are plenty of tasty items to bring home, including make-at-home pizzas and a rotating seasonal lineup.

“There are a lot of places in Los Angeles to get a good. If not great sandwich. What sets Paulie's apart has to be the friendliest counter service I ever consistently run into. I was in there with my son this weekend and the gentleman behind the counter was kind and joked and smiled and did all the things that you want to see to make somebody feel welcome in your establishment. And it's not the first time I've experienced this there and it's not always with the same person. The sandwiches are bomb. But the service puts it over the top every time.“

“The owner of this place is truly one of the best. He treats his customers like family, and you can tell he genuinely cares about the people who come through the door. I believe he’s originally from Australia, and for some reason I thought he no longer owned the place, so it was great seeing him there again the other day.

The shop is always clean, the staff is friendly, and I’ve had a lot of good experiences here. I did get a little upset recently because my sandwich wasn’t made the way I expected, but I later found out the person working that day was only filling in for one day and normally works at another location. That completely changed my perspective, because it wouldn’t be fair to hold this store or its regular staff responsible for one person’s mistake.

At the end of the day, this is still one of my favorite places. Great owner, great atmosphere, friendly people, and a business that makes you feel welcome. I’ll definitely keep coming back.“

“My family loves Jersey Mike's. We have loved everything we have tried. Sure, it's on the pricier end, but you can't beat the quality. This location is good. We placed an online order and the food was ready on time for pick up. Service was quick and efficent. “Heidi's Cafe is located down the escalator ( near Dicks Sporting Goods). Small Cafe with some indoor seating. They carry snacks,candy, drinks, Ramen cups,etc. They also offer breakfast & lunch sandwiches. This is a great spot for mall or office employees to grab something quick since the food court is much smaller in this part of the mall ( Bloomingdale side)“

“Today, was our first time to Togo's Sandwiches. We drove 15 miles. We ordered a hot pastrami, French dip, cheesesteak, California Club and turkey, ham and cheddar sandwich. I also picked up a chocolate chip cookie. Today, I had the pastrami for lunch and cheesesteak for dinner. The sandwiches were delicious. The bread was soft, lots of meat, I added lettuce and mayo.
