“This restaurant is definitely one of the most attractive restaurants in the neighborhood. Whenever I go there I am awfully satisfied. They manage their high level service and the topmost level of cooking they serve. You can never go wrong with this restaurant. Highly recommended.“

“Well, as they say… “they don’t make ‘em like this anymore.” What a DELIGHTFUL experience at Berge’s. I had the turkey & avocado, while another friend has the grilled cheese & tomato basil bisque soup. Both were so, so good. When one of the employees had realized 2 of us in our party of three hadn’t tried the soup… they sent over 2 smaller cups to make sure we got to experience the magic.

We talked with one of the employees who has been working at Berge’s since ‘95. The level of care that goes into the time the shred the fresh lettuce, ensure the purchasing high quality meats, and expertly make the same soup every day makes for a deli experience people want to be a part of over and over again.

There is something about a laminate wood paneled shop that just does it for me. Especially one where the owner sits in a corner, makes sure every is getting what they need, monitoring it all while competing a crossword. The start serving 2 different soups a daily when the weather cools off, and I personally cannot wait until I get to write to you all again about when I get my hands on a Berge’s tuna melt.“

The large pita and hummus wasnt available at the time, so she made the medium. The pitas and hummus were top notch. Competitive pricing for sandwiches of this quality in the area.“

“Love the extra toppings on the subs. Family got the cold cut and pastrami. The smalls were plenty big for everyone. Wish more places put that much pickles /tomatoes etc on theirs!

Very busy the whole time we were there. But they were fast and friendly. Prepare for cash only ( no higher then 20's).

They could put a little effort into upgrading the seating area. A relative says it's looked like that since he was a kid about 40yes ago.

“Paulie’s is really good food. I drive by here for work all the time and have never been disappointed. Note: definitely not a budget eatery, but quality is good. One thing I love is that they seem to pay attention to the little details. They have great cold cuts, huge cookies, and even their own drinks.

“First time here yesterday and happy to keep coming back, had the hot pastrami sub and it was seriously good loved the mayo mustard combo with chopped tomato onion and pickles combined and layered generously over the whole sub Also had the Tonys special sub .. lots of fresh and tasty deli meats mortadella hams salamis and again the in-house mustard mayo combo .. awesome sandwich For a side I had the bow tie pasta which was cooked al dente with plenty of the marinated artichoke hearts and a great authentic Italian feel and flavour As this had now developed into leftovers for dinner given the size of it all I took us home a tiramisu for dessert later, and as with everything else well worth the eating Opened in 1979 and still going strong .. it’s easy to see why“

“Daryl is a cheerful pick me up every time I stop by! He always has a huge smile, is exceptionally professional and so freaky fast! I’ve also heard him coaching and training others and I can tell he’s an amazing leader. I come by this location at least once a month and always have a great experience.

Parking: There’s street parking all around the intersection, just depends how much you need to walk. Service is usually quick enough that I can put in a quarter for 15 minutes at the meter and I leave well before it runs out.“

“8/10 if i were to rate the meal.went to tony's deli for the first time today because my roommate and i were craving sandwiches.we got the same thing. prosciutto sandwich combo on Italian bread. came out to almost $19 for a 6" sandwich side (pasta salad, mac salad, potato salad) and a canned soda.the sandwich was good, i feel the bread was a hard and the fixings weren't evenly distributed so the middle was full but the ends were just bread and sauce.the service was fast and the employees are nice“

Parking: Street parking fills up quick but can be found occasionally. There are nearby lots/garages to park in.“

“Quality of the food at this location is just like the others. Can't speak to environment because I did a pickup, but it was crowded when I was inside and there were staff making sure dine-ins were taken care of, so no problems with foot traffic.

Service was fast considering I put in my order about 30min before, drove over in <10min, and bag was ready. Didn't have to interact with anyone!

Probably the hardest part was finding parking because this Mendocino is part of the Americana, which is paid garage parking. Street parking is tough due to location.“

“My family and I visited this location yesterday, Antonio took our order, his disposition, and he was very friendly and gave us suggestions. Hubby had a wrap, the elite it's new, I had the Italian herb and cheese foot long bread, and chose #8 garlic with olive oil, honey mastard and garlic oile my veggies, our lil one had kids meal, that was a good deal 6 inch sub, snack, cookie and juice. For the most part, it was tasty. However, too much SALT got from the grilled chicken, not to sure if the bread herb and cheese would have contributed and hubby said same thing SALT, thankfully the veggies helped and I am glad I didn't take the bacon. Subway take that into consideration, wherever you all source your rotisserie chicken from. Imagine eating this daily that sodium, can be a problem, for one, send up a person blood pressure, so be mindful when ordering. Our meal cost altogether $37.15 and he filled it up which was great. We got cookies, as combos are no longer available for the wrap or footlong. It has been a minute since I had a subway like 4 yrs ago. ??‍♀️, so this was news to me. The regular chocolate chip cookie was good. The double chocolate has a brownie taste, too much sugar for me. I would definitely visit again, probably try tuna or meatballs. “Good experience in the store. Employees were friendly and tentative. It did get a little busy and while ordering I was cut off just so my order taker could answer another employee who picked up a phone call. Usually, you want to take care of customers in the store before handling a phone call lol. Overall, clean, prices are average for this area and food was delicious.“

Anyway I went to this location Dec15th after church ( 1119 3rd St Calvary Tabernacle) best decision Ever!! I bought a garlic Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. The lady there suggested it on a cheese bread you must try this sandwich!!! She spread garlic butter on both top and bottom breads then added lots of cheese to both sides put two trays of steak on it and put it in the oven extremely Yummy smelling right?! Then when she took it out and asked politely what I wanted on it I had her put lots of green bell peppers, red onion, pepper cheenies , and sliced tomatoes oh and a line of lite mayo and one of honey mustard Oh My Goodness!!!!! Best sandwich I’ve ever had, for real For Real !!! I ate one half with vinegar and sea salt chips and theses new fountain drinks that taste like tropical juices all kinds of flavors to choose from I would suggest you eat there so you can get free refills on your drink because all the flavors are so good I actually mixed them !! Healthy and great tasting juices watered down to where there not too sugary. I had had her to wrap the other half of my sandwich for my grandson but unfortunately it never made it to him because that sandwich was so very great ????????????! “I've been coming here since they 1st opened up. Wow they sure have improved so much since then . Subway is great because the food is fresh and the keep the place clean. They have a lot of great sandwich options.
