“This is by far the worst breakfast experiences I have ever had. If I could put zero stars I would. We put our order for scrambled eggs and eggs Benedict. Waited an hour and a half, finally went in to see what was going on and our order was never made. (Computer mistake) which I understood so then I asked to have our order to go. We waited and our food wasn’t put in to go containers. So we ate our food and they messed up scrambled eggs. They were inedible. Overall just terrible. They had such high reviews it was very upsetting.“

“Casual walk in place, counter order. Service was ok. We got the classic zhengyalov hatz wrap, and split it. Having never had it, wasn't sure what to expect. It's very veggie, herbal-y. Pretty much just bread and vegs. It was done well, but maybe not to my taste. The flatbread part was very good though.“

“This is the first time I have ever been to one of the Bacari locations. This one, in Sherman Oaks, is excellent. My daughter, Lauren, picked this restaurant. I was surprised, because Lauren usually picks out more expensive restaurants.

Bacari is a tapas type restaurant. The prices are reasonable because the portions, and the plates, are small. They recommended ordering three plates per person.

We ordered one plate for each of us and a Margarita pizza to share. The pizza was excellent. I had the Bacari burger. It was amazing. My wife had sea bass, and our daughter had a filet. We all enjoyed our meals.

Service was prompt, friendly, and efficient. In this restaurant, they bring out each plate as it's ready. That encourages people to share and socialize.

The restaurant was quite noisy inside. They have a nice little courtyard with outdoor seating. It was slightly less noisy in the outdoor courtyard.

For people who want to lose weight and still have delicious meals, I recommend Bacari Sherman Oaks.“

“Sun Cafe has a wonderful all vegan menu. Their patio is dog friendly (pets too). Service is a little slow when they get busy but food is cooked to order, I believe. Parking is available on the street nearby if the restaurant parking is full.“

Everything is absolutely delicious, super healthy, affordable, and fast. It’s such a reliable go-to for plant-based meals.

The Toluca Lake location is especially great. Parking is free and easy, which is a huge plus. It’s right next to Sweetgreen and Something Vegan, so the whole block feels like a little vegan paradise.

I’ve tried a lot of the menu, and while everything is tasty, the bowls are my favorite. They’re flavorful, satisfying, and packed with nutrients.

I also appreciate that they show the calories on the menu—it makes it easy to eat well and stay mindful.

“I first saw this dude at Gentle Barn in the SCV, and I could not believe this stuff was vegan. We used to keep going because we liked supporting the venue, but also for the dogs! He’s always on point, and the whole vibe is so unique. The names, the decor and all is 1000% one of a kind. “I’ve tried lots of ramen before and by far this is one of the best broths I’ve tasted. It was so creamy and full of flavor. I got the red miso ramen and it was great. The other ramens were also full of flavor and doesn’t have a water downed flavor. The staff was so freindly and nice. It gives a very personal and homey feel. Everything was nice and clean including the bathroom! They also give these free puff deserts that are filled with strawberry creme and it was a phenomenal ending. One of the staff even gave us free pocky’s as a small new year festivities.
This is definitely a lowkey, hidden spot that’s worth a try. Would recommend the ramen any day. I will be going back!“
