“This is by far the worst breakfast experiences I have ever had. If I could put zero stars I would. We put our order for scrambled eggs and eggs Benedict. Waited an hour and a half, finally went in to see what was going on and our order was never made. (Computer mistake) which I understood so then I asked to have our order to go. We waited and our food wasn’t put in to go containers. So we ate our food and they messed up scrambled eggs. They were inedible. Overall just terrible. They had such high reviews it was very upsetting.“

We’re visiting from Switzerland and were absolutely blown away! This restaurant is a true highlight for anyone who eats plant-based. Finally a place where vegans aren’t just an afterthought with one or two token dishes on the side of the menu, but are truly at the center.

The selection is huge, creative, and incredibly delicious. Every single dish tasted like it was made with love. We (my wife, two kids and me) enjoyed the variety of vegan meals to the fullest. It’s rare to feel this welcomed and seen as a family with special dietary choices.

A big thank-you also to our wonderful server, who was kind, attentive, and genuinely warm. We not only felt nourished by the food, but also by the energy of the place.

“Veggietize Me is one of those rare spots that gets vegan comfort food right. I ordered the waffle fries, jalapeño poppers, and a BBQ-stacked burger with tempeh bacon that had me in a chokehold. Everything was packed with bold flavor, made fresh, and left me full without feeling heavy. The staff were welcoming, and the vibe inside is laid-back and authentic. Definitely worth the drive to Panorama City if you’re craving something good-good with no compromises. Their Pizza Burger is backkkkk!“

I took my daughter and we both got the kids meal (a good size burger, sweet potato fries, a drink, and a soft chocolate chip cookie), which is actually a nice portion of food compared to kids meals at other places. “While seemingly a modest hole in the wall, this is a michellin-rated bake shop renowned for its namesake Armenian pies, filled with an unbelievably complex and dense mixture of at least 12 chopped herbs and greens...dill, sorrel, beet leaves, spinach, chervil, cilantro, scallions, chard, purslane, tarragon, and dandelion greens. Each herb contributes distinct flavor characteristics but the ratio to achieve a balance of acidity/tangy. sweetness, and aromatic complexity is reportedly very hard to get right . The dough , sometimes described as translucently thin but crisp, tender, bouncy and flavorful, somehow maintains structural integrity and moisture control. The overall effect of the pie is super 🔥“

“My brother and I had the most amazing night of superb jazz and food this past Sunday, entertained by Betty Bryant and ensemble. Her fingers moved like liquid gold on the keyboard and her compositions were witty and mesmerizing. The word that kept coming to mind as they performed was "subtle." The music was powerful, but so discrete as to be gentle and gentile. Woodwinds, Bass, and Drums - all played with the kind of delight that makes everyone love the performers as well as the music. As for food, one dish stood out particularly: the creamed spinach with blue cheese. Please tell Chef I would love that recipe! I'm back home in Tennessee now and plan to attempt to copy it, but having the authentic recipe to serve to friends when we entertain would be over the top! “Visiting from out of town, and happened to have dinner here. I liked that the place was easy to find, and had lots of parking. The service was top notch! Very attentive, quick, and friendly! Hubby had the lime and chili ramen and really enjoyed it. It was very flavorful. I had the yakisoba noodles with pork. The pork was lovely and well cooked. Very tender! But, for me, the sauce on the noodles was really heavy on vinegar. I was expecting/wanting a more savory/umami flavor. They were way too sour for my taste. I’m certain that there would have been a lot of other menu items I would have enjoyed! I wish I’d tried their miso ramen instead of the yakisoba.“
