Tucked into a lobby spot on Sawtelle, you can get a giant delicious egg breakfast with fantastic potatoes or chicken sausage for under $20. Coffees, waffles, sandwiches top notch. “Waitor didn't tell me about an up charge but said I could have any selection of pancakes with Breakfast. Delicious and restaurant smelled good, music was ambient, but surprise charge. My check suggested 18%,20% or 22% but when I paid the tablet started it's suggestions a bit higher and didn't let me customize to an 18% because of the surprise unchanged. When I tried it defaulted to 20%. I found it surprising that I couldn't get out of there under $24.50 for a simple pancake platter! Ouch. Restaurant empty, which was fine for a personal call I intended to make!“

For adults, the menu has plenty of solid breakfast and lunch options too. At this location I tried the egg white omelet, which was a healthy and tasty vegetarian pick.

“Honestly very impressed with this place. Don't expect fine dining or anything unusual. But if you're looking for classic diner fare you won't be disappointed. Got their big French toast (available all day) which is a feast of breakfast food (eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, and of course 4 pieces of French toast).“

They had another Trimana that I went to more often, up the street, but it floated off down the river during the pandemic. The manager of this one on Oxnard is a very nice man and he even said that he can't control the costs - except if they were use cheaper quality ingredients and then it wouldn't be as good. I recommend any of the salads or sandwiches. You can't go wrong with like any of them. If you have no food in the fridge at home or need to go for a lunch meeting, go to this Trimana, you won't be sorry.“
