“I've been a loyal patient at Apex Dental since 2019. Not only have I referred my family and friends to this office, but Dr. Appal's commitment to honesty and perfectionism continuously impresses me. From crowns to bridges and even an implant, Dr. Appal has transformed my smile, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Maribel, Cynthia, and the front desk guy ( forgot his name ) from the office staff are also incredibly welcoming and kind. I confidently recommend this office and wholeheartedly stand by Dr. Appal's work.“

“I have been coming here since the lovely family that ran this place retired. Though I was sad to see them go, I am glad to see the new owners running the place flawlessly like before. The quality of the food for the prices listed is unmatched. Great to see their menu expanded, and if you have not tried it , get the shrimp fried rice! So good!“

“GREAT food!!!! They're fairly new, so I hope they don't compromise on flavor later down the line. First, I had their small chicken katsu box. The second time, I had their new sweet chili shrimp katsu, and that was even better!!!!! Employees are always so friendly and for the quality of the food the price and turnaround time is worth it. Highly recommend“

“The taste is very good. Regular customers suggested that the rice bowls are too small. They are all freshly made and taste very good. Nowadays, there are too many pre-made dishes. The store is quite good. With so many bad reviews, I think many of them are discredited by peers. I recommend the lamb chops for 16.99.“

“Visited Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle for the first time this weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The restaurant is located in the plaza on the corner of Atlantic and Garvey, with plenty of parking.
The menu is simple and straight forward. You start by choosing the desired soup base (bone broth, tomato, hot & sour, spicy) and then the protein offered under your desired soup base. If you wish to order additional toppings; there is a list of add-on you can pick from. The restaurant gives you the option to order using the QR code taped on the table or with the staff member. Soon after placing the order, they bring out the toppings to the dish, which consists of your desired meat, lettuce, generous portion of rice noodles, tofu, ham, green onion, seaweed, wood ear mushroom, corn, egg, etc. Lastly the soup base is served and you add the add all the toppings to your soup.
I ordered the tomato soup with sliced brisket; love the strong tomato flavor in the broth. If you are a tomato lover, this is the soup base to order.
Will definitely be coming back to try the other soup bases.“

“I had a great experience with food and service here. The boba for their Thai tea is made fresh daily, and the signature Rice street noodle is something I have never had. The mango sticky rice is level beyond. Also, the hospitality of the owner and staff are second to none. I felt like part of their family the moment I walked in. This is probably one of the best Thai restaurants that I ever tried.“

“Food looked just like commercial but tasted even better. Staff was friendly and the restaurant clean. Music wasn't my taste but the guy did cut it down a notch so it wasn't blaring out the speakers.
I would definitely go back good food for not a lot of money!!!“

“4.5 ⭐️s for overall experience! My friend, her kids, and I enjoyed our meal in mostly every way - flavors, service, and cleanliness. The house salad was healthy (not just iceberg lettuce) and had a generous portion for one person. My friend said it was super delicious - Sunset roll, blue crab roll, and miso black cod were on point flavor wise. Only negatives were that the seaweed was a bit chewy (not super tough though) and the soup slightly salty. The staff was kind, friendly, attentive, and patient - hard to come by these days. Prices are reasonable and I plan to come back. Parking is tougher at times in this plaza, but at some point, you'll find a spot.“

“To be honest, I was confused. I've studied past reviews and prepared myself well before visiting, only to find that the restaurant had a new menu, which was much shorter than what was previously posted, and the food that I was looking forward to try wasn't there anymore. Perhaps the cafe had a change of management, but I was willing to give it a try.We ordered the Bun Bo Hue and beef oxtail soup, considering that it was a rainy day in LA, and I wanted something to warm myself before bedtime. The two soup bowls came covered with saran wraps, and judging from the temperature, they had just been heated separately (the Bun Bo Hue was hot, while the oxtail soup was a bit lukewarm). I had to grab my own utensils and napkins from a different counter, as the tables in the cafe were devoid of any articles. The flavours were on the right notes. The Bun Bo Hue had a mild kick, and the noodles were a great feature of the dish. The dish came with a small cup of kimchi, but it was nothing to write about. The oxtail soup was great, the soup was refreshing and subtle, and the oxtails were tender. My only complaint was that I wished mine came in warmer. All in all, I'd come again for the food, either to savour the soups, or perhaps try other dishes, though there is more to a great dining experience than just good food.“

“This is one of my favorite go-to spots for Teriyaki in Whittier! The food is cooked to order and always fresh, I usually go for the teriyaki chicken and beef plate and add avocado!
I've also had their teriyaki chicken sandwich and it's delicious! They also have some tasty fries, and I usually add a order for my daughter and I to share. Next time I stop in I'll be trying their bbq beef sandwich, which looks amazing.
If you're looking for a delicious and healthy meal, you should stop in and give them a try. The staff is always friendly and hustle to get your order quickly and accurately. You won't be disappointed, that's a guarantee!“

“The uncle is super nice and the boss lady is very nice.Freshly baked salted crispy chicken, crispy and slightly spicy yydsThe winter melon tea is the least sweet that any of us have ever tasted. It is very refreshing and sweet. The braised eggs are also delicious. The most important thing is that it is fresh and not salty ?Although the store is not big, it is very cozy and sells fashion music ?“

“There was a Chinese Muslim restaurant in Alhambra a long time ago, so it was refreshing to find a halal place that also happens to boast Uyghur cuisine specific to Xinjian Province in Northwestern China. We ordered lamb kebab and traditional lachman, both are well-seasoned and not overly greasy or salty. Service was fine and the ambience was a bit different that a typical Chinese restaurant cos it played Central Asian music.“

“The pad see ew was a solid dish—smoky, flavorful, and well-executed. The pad Thai was pretty standard—not bad, but nothing special. The papaya salad was disappointing, lacking depth and the bold flavors it should have.
On the bright side, the Vietnamese coffee was excellent—strong, rich, and exactly how it should be. Overall, a decent spot, but I’d stick to the stir-fried noodle dishes and the coffee.“

“Northeastern Noodle House, the braised beef noodles are delicious, and the beef burrito is full of coriander and green onions. Unfortunately, I don’t like the sweet noodle sauce, but the crust is super thin and the beef is delicious! The large plate of chicken shaved noodles is delicious with a bit of numbing flavor from Sichuan peppercorns! There is a live ramen show by the chef, and the noodles are freshly made and delicious...the service is good! It was full at dinner time..“

“We came here for dinner after a huge multi-day event at the Pasadena convention center so it was packed and there was about a half hour wait. Despite how busy it was, the staff was still super friendly, on top of orders and very attentive, which was impressive.
My favorite thing on the menu was the Beef Roll Pancake. It definitely left me wanting more and was so good, I ordered one for takeaway! The flavors of the noodle dishes we had were just okay. Spicy chicken wontons were tasty. I would come back for the beef roll pancake for sure. Overall good spot in Pasadena.“

“Loved the hotpot here. Lots of variety and you can pick an choose to your hearts desire. The free side bar has plenty of sauces and dips to choose from. Good selection of deserts and fun foods. The restaurant itself is dressed in a vintage Chinese Cabana style decorand there are a few divided cabins you can sit in besides the main floor. Adds a little bit of ambiance to your dining experience. Service is very exceptional and fast. They are very attentive and alert to all your needs and requests. Very polite and professional. Hotpot can be very monotonous but the different dishes they offer here will surely satisfy anyone's craving whether it be meat, veggies, seafood or other exotic dishes they offer. First time here for me and definitely my new hotpot hotspot.
Vegetarian options: They don't have a vegetarian menu but they do have plenty of vegetables, tofu, mushroom varieties and quite a few others like sweet potatoes, konjac knots..you get the picture. A vegetarian won't go hungry here that's for sure.“

“I recommend the chilaquiles they are delicious. The only problem I had was they charged a micheladas triple the price ($18) instead of happy hour price ($6) they had the sign on the table for happy hour Mon-Fri and said it is not correct they have it until Thursday they need to remove that sign. I was able to get a refund for the extra charge which was a lot ($12). Besides that all the food was good“

“Read about this in such raving reviews inevitably I swung by and see it for myself. We got there at lunch time near 1p but the place closes at 2p. The first impression was that this is an absolute minimalists' dream. No menu, no decor, no utensils, no price on the wall, no sticker, no label on pre packed food. What you see is what you’d get. Plain plain furniture that Ikea should be impressed. The only menu was above the cashier, and they have the item but literally priceless. I scanned the immediate crowd of a few and thought I probably should be able to afford this place if they could… With that little bit of courage, we pointed and ordered from the board above. The house stew noodle. Looking at the display case, we spotted something weird and we ordered it because it's been a while. We got some marinated baby squids in a plastic tub. Again, priceless. Sat at the barron table equipped with disposable chopsticks we ate. The squid was good. No complaints about that but it’s an entirely acquired taste so you should think before getting it. Then the noodles arrived after a long few minutes. It has the expected fragrance of many spices combined. Presentation was good. Then do learn from my mistake, DO NOT SLURP. The spicy oil will intrude into places least suspected and cause embarrassment if not disaster toward whoever is sitting across. The hot spicy soup tasted as if I had sniffed it. It had depth, not just looking dark and floating a few bits of what would say spice. With that said, getting past not slurping took a few tries as typically noodles go down with a big slurp a la japanese ramen. Avoid such practice here. The meat was surprisingly not dry as I would say having prep the soup with depth typically killed the meat. Probably the soup and the meat met after preparation and not from the start. The noodle was with the right amount of dough density and springlyness. I don't think they made it from scratch but they know how long to cook it and keep from soaking it too long in soup or water. Everything was good. The bill showed up and it was cash only. Surprise! I don’t know why this place could have rated $10 up, the noodle was $20. The squid was $10. The tea was free but hope you like styrofoam cup. The tire company paper- Firestone or something, was on the wall. Strictly for the food. Service was ok. We needed minimal attention in such a setting because it was set up to show it won’t be any.“
