“We spent a few hours here on New Year's Eve. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The owner greeted us and offered us snacks.
They have a live DJ spinning turntables, bumping music from the past to present. There's an outdoor patio in the back.

“This is a cocktail bar but don't be fooled. My favorite drink is the duck fat hibiki, it's absolutely amazing. It blew every other cocktail out of the water. It might cost more and it might not look the prettiest but trust me it is delicious. They are going to discontinue it due to lack of people ordering but don't just go for the trendy or Instagram worthy drinks, it might just be a regular looking old fashion but it might just be the best old fashion I've ever had.“

“I have been frequenting hotel Le’Meridian that has Longitude 118 bar lately. I specifically want to give a shout out to Erik who works the [early] a.m. shift at Longitude 118. He is always accommodating and VERY customer-friendly! I enjoy our conversations when I’m sitting at the bar. He always has a smile on his face and he’s very down to earth. Ever since Ember’s Lounge closed down, this has been my spot. It’s cash only, but there’s a ATM machine there. I love the digital jukebox that allows you to play all kinds of music. “The lounge is conveniently located within Hilton San Gabriel. It was spacious and comfortable. The staff were inviting, friendly and extremely efficient. They took wonderful care of us. For lunch we ordered: clam chowder, Caesar salad, beef taquitos with guacamole dip and Parma ham and mozzarella flat bread. All the dishes were perfectly seasoned and delicious. My only two suggestions would be to serve crackers with the soup and maybe change the flatbread sauce to a marinara. I had an old fashioned with my meal which I really enjoyed. The drink was well balanced.The lounge is a non tipping restaurant. It’s odd I know, at least for me it is. The tip was already added to the final bill and we paid approximately 65+“

“This is a destination restaurant, right in the heart of South Pasadena. The food is amazing, it's beautiful inside and outside (they have outdoor seating in the back as well), and the staff is nice.

“We drive 35 miles at least three times a month to eat here. We love Home State and as a Native Texan, I can attest that their queso is the real deal!!! I just wish they'd open one in Claremont, CA!!! The Don't Mess With Texas is my favorite taco and my husband loves the brisket taco. Everything is amazing though!!!“

“The Raymond is one of my favorite restaurants in the area, for its intimate setting and delicious food. If you want a casual experience, opt to sit outside in the courtyard under the lights or by the fireplace. But if you want a more intimate setting, sit inside the historic house where it feels cozy and hospitable. (Reminds me of other restaurant “house” settings like The Hobbit and French Laundry!) We enjoyed the ahi tuna appetizer, as well as the Caesar salad with grilled salmon. The tater tot side was a surprise favorite and was gone in a flash. My favorite was the tomahawk special! It was absolutely cooked to medium-rare perfection, with each melt-in-your-mouth piece dipped in either peppercorn or chimichurri sauce. The Caymus cabernet paired incredibly well with this dish! For dessert, the bread pudding was very moist and not too sweet. We had a table in the corner and were able to have a great conversation with our friends without struggling to hear. It was a very heartwarming, memorable night out! Grateful to the Raymond!“

“The asparagus fries. Crispy & not greasy. You can appreciate the asparagus flavor. We split the Thai spicy salad. It was spicy, but the Thai basil & the peanut dressing were the stars. It didn't need the chicken. The best was the ribeye melt. The meat was cooked perfectly.The sourdough was crusted with parmesan. With a side of horseradish that was perfectly paired for this sandwich.“

“We went in search of the @losdoradosla truck and found it parked in front of La Cuevita. We ventured in at around 6p and discovered that it was still Happy Hour. My husband ordered an Old Fashion and said it was one of the best he’s ever had. I ordered a specialty vodka drink and it was refreshing. We’re definitely going back soon with friends!“

“I’ve been going to Towhey’s for over 20 years. I love their breakfast. I love their cheeseburgers. My daughter Micaela used to be a hostess in Alhambra. It’s one of my favorite go to restaurants. I love sitting at the bar. Also when they’re busy it’s a fun place to have dinner.“

“First time here eating at Pez with my girlfriend. We decided to change our usual spot in Pasadena for Valentine’s Day and go to Pez. The menu was very detailed on what it was instead of just names. It made the menu even more appealing and appetizing. My girlfriend ordered the handmade fettuccine and I ordered the seared jumbo scallops. They had brought out the wrong dish originally and brought out the cioppino on accident. It was then fixed immediately when the mistake was noticed. Even though it was incorrect that plate looked amazing as well. Maybe the next visit I’ll give it a try. After the mix up however we were shocked with how apologetic they were about the mix up that the chef came out to apologize. It meant a lot to see everyone take the mistake very seriously. While they rushed my correct order the chef came asked if the can keep my girlfriends plate warm. They took it back since we had been sitting a bit waiting for mine and believe they made her a whole new plate to be fresh as possible. We both got our new plates at the same time and another drink for myself. It was amazing all around. The pasta was fresh, the bell peppers were amazing compliment to the sauce and pasta. The scallops were to die for, don’t know if I can have good scallops anywhere else now. The service with it made it even better. We then finished it up with dessert by ordering the warm chocolate cake which was very rich and paired amazingly with the ice cream and brittle. At the end we left amazed and are ready to come again. The cherry on top was when I returned from the restroom seeing chef speaking to my girlfriend about the food and service. Can’t wait to come back again.“

Ambience is balance with good lighting and some k-pop music. Overall its a good spot to hangout after after the farmers market.“
