The worse part are the water cups, so tiny... I had to make 4 trips to the cooler to refill. Hated that part.“

“My partner and I ordered 12 tacos and overall enjoyed the experience. The meat tasted fresh and was topped simply with cilantro and onions, the way authentic street tacos should be. My partner especially enjoyed the tacos, and while I thought they were good overall, I found some of the meats a little underseasoned for my taste.

The chicken taco had a fair amount of gristle that hadn’t been trimmed properly, but the sausage, pork, and steak tacos were all enjoyable. As others have mentioned, the salsa was very watery and had an unusual sweetness that wasn’t really to our liking, although the verde sauce was quite good.

The service was excellent—friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The atmosphere is that of a small traditional taco shop and felt authentic, although it doesn’t have much character or ambiance.

Overall, the tacos were fresh and the service was great. Prices were reasonable, although the tacos were a bit on the smaller side. We were a just bit surprised that all of the sauces and chips were charged as extras but maybe thats normal in this area. We did appreciate the lemon wedges and radishes though.“

“I don’t even know where to start—this place completely blew my expectations. I feel like I finally had real sushi for the first time in a long time. The fish was incredibly fresh, and you can actually taste the quality in every bite. What I appreciated the most is that the rolls weren’t overloaded with rice—they were packed with fish, which made it feel like I was truly getting my money’s worth. You can tell the chef really cares about what they’re putting out. This is officially the only sushi spot I’ll be going to from now on. Highly recommend.“

“We just had a fantastic dinner at El Mexicali Cafe II. We went at about 530pm on a Saturday. It was busy but we only waited for a few minutes for a table for 3. All 3 of us ordered a dish and just split everything which was perfect! Margaritas were great and food was absolutely fantastic. Our server Edwin was very attentive and knowledgeable and we couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of us. The sauce they use on the fajitas is just to die for. We will be back and will recommend to family and friends.“

“It's a very nice Mexican restaurant. My waiter was great and the food came out fast. I only have one complaint. I'm from the Midwest, Kansas and our Mexican food is served with ground beef, not shredded meat unless you order fajitas. I guess it's a California thing to use shredded meat instead of ground beef. Next time I google a Mexican food restaurant, I'll check out the menu first to see if they use ground beef!!“

“We came almost closing, and they were still very nice to us. Their chips and salsa had a great kick and was on the spicier side, but we loved it. The fried fish was good and pretty large for $18. Their Birria is what they’re known for and was very good. It had a great flavor and came with a homemade flour tortillas and was packed with meat. Even the medium bowl was too much for me to finish. The michelada was very good too and going into this restaurant felt like going into someone’s home for some homemade birria.“

“This Pub is freaking amazing! This was my husband and my first time and we were both very impressed by the food and atmosphere. We both couldn’t stop looking at all the amazing memorabilia they have all over the place. The food was super delicious. I ordered the Chicken Avocado sandwich. The combination of the Gouda cheese and the spicy candy bacon was delicious! I highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to see some live music here! My husband and I will definitely be back.“

One of the only thing that sucks is the pricing really doesn’t make sense single cheese burger avocado and bacon is 9.99 but with the double is five bucks more. “Burgers and Beer is a cool spot I found nearby EOS. The place looked pretty big from the outside, so I asked my partner if she wanted to do an early dinner. I noticed they have daily specials, but be mindful that they usually serve from 11-3, and after that, the happy hour menu takes over till 6.
We originally came for the tuesday burger deal, but we arrived after 3, we still ordered a burger and decided to try the machaca chimichangas from the HH menu. The service was great, thanks Javier. I really appreciated the variety, not just food and beers, but sports on TV too.
The only thing was that the bottom bun of the burger was very soggy, our server joked its gravity’s fault...
Maybe adding a crisp, dry lettuce layer underneath could help. Overall, great vibes and a fun place to chill and hang out.“
