Whether it’s for a refreshing coffee drink and tasty pastry; spending some time playing with in-house cats (for a reasonable fee); or attending one of the special events, it’s always a fun and enjoyable experience. On top of that (and reflecting the values of “Mr and Mrs Frisky”), there is a “pay it forward” board where one can purchase a drink or cat visit for someone who might need some support; and a pantry box where cat food donations can be dropped off for those who can use it or who feed community cats. I recommend Frisky Business to my local friends; and it’s a must “to do” when visitors come to town. It’s a great place owned by great people.“

“Came here looking at the good reviews. Ordered some food and coffee.
Was able to find a table immediately.
The cappuccino was good. Was told they use Joshua Tree Coffee to make the coffee drinks.
I got the breakfast sandwich on jalapeño bagel. It was more than filling and yummy. Wife got the avocado toast with a well done egg, which came out over easy. But that was a minor issue.
The chicken pesto sandwich was also yummy.
Overall everything tasted good.
P.S. They also gave the kids some activity to keep them busy, which was a plus.“

The pastries were so delicious, and the Sueno coffee completely blew me away with its orange and vanilla flavors—perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. I would’ve never thought of this combo in a coffee, but it’s amazing! I’ll definitely be back for this. I think it’s my new favorite coffee flavor. I also tried the Calabaza coffee, filled with cozy pumpkin and fall spices—so delicious and comforting. “I like Dutch bros coffee a lot. It’s a lot more consistent than for example Starbucks. Dutch bros does my drink the exact same way every time without fail. This location everyone is so sweet and nice. They’re fast and efficient. I always come for a drink when I’m in town. I love a good picture perfect 💙

“They have some of the best ownership—it’s truly unbelievable. They are very well respected, kind, and have big hearts. The atmosphere is amazing, and everything is so clean. It used to be a Starbucks, but I honestly love this location much more than the one across the street. The employees are great as well—very friendly and welcoming. “The Coffee Bean in La Quinta CA was a wonderful option for those of us living in this area with only a Starbucks at every corner. My husband and I would go every Sunday as a treat for ourselves. The service was always great and we had been doing this for 15 years. I'm not sure why they had to close but we miss it so much. On top of my Sundays with my husband I treated myself to a white chocolate latte every Friday as a treat for getting through another week of work. I miss it so much. The closest Coffee Bean is in Palm Desert and it's way to far to detour on the way to work. Very sad please open another location closer to Indio and La Quinta.“

“Man first time coming here and the atmosphere feels modern very fresh, walking in into a modern barista bar , but for healthy people, I’ve got the breakfast bowl and it was the best food I’ve had believe me the chipotle sauce was fantastic left no crumbs. Overall if your losing weight or need something on the go this place has it for you! 10/10“

“We came here and there was already a line waiting out the door. When we got to the front, there were a bunch of samples to choose from. Everything looked really good. I sampled the Panna Cotta and it was light, smooth, creamy, and sweet but not too sweet. I was very surprised actually at how much I liked it. I already had my two flavors in my mind, but I would definitely come back to try a scoop of that and an affogato.

I got a scoop of Espresso and Tiramisu in a cup with a waffle cone on top. Both flavors were absolutely delicious. I loved the texture of the gelato, it was so creamy. Prices were a little steep, but the quality is undeniable. I'd definitely come back to try more of their flavors.

Service was good, it was busy with just two of them there serving a bunch of families in line. But they were very helpful and pleasant. I can't wait to swing by again when I'm back in the area.“

“We stopped at a Starbucks in a grocery store near our hotel. There was one person taking orders and making drinks for 8 people in front of us. While in line I googled directions to a stand alone Starbucks. We got in the car and drove 1.5 miles to this Starbucks where there were 10 baristas and two people ahead of us. The coffees were perfect, probably because the barista had one job and minimal stress.“

“I picked up some donuts for a few of our clients, but I struggled to carry all the boxes. Kenny noticed my difficulty and kindly offered to assist, despite being occupied with clients. Fortunately, some gentlemen also noticed my predicament and helped me transport all the donut boxes to my car in one trip.“

“Parking needs an additional disabled spot. Be careful with drivers - people don’t care how they drive through this parking lot. I wish we were able to purchase bread through the drive thru. I was told by one employee in store that I could but that wasn’t the case at the ordering point. Overall it’s always clean and they usually have a good amount and variety of breads available.“

“Stopped by this place with my boyfriend on a roadtrip by chance and we really enjoyed our drinks there!! The chocolate peanut butter protein shake with added banana was very delicious—has the protein, was refreshing and had a great consistency!! Also we were welcomed and served by the warmest and kindest lady and were able to converse with her a bit—definitely a memorable experience for both my boyfriend and I as we really felt at home there due to the cozy and friendly environment. “Nice to have this coffee shop in old town - it’s my go to even with its flaws. The line moves fast and the baristas are great.

The coffee needs work - I’m not sure if the espresso machine needs to be dialed in or cleaned more often, but 40% of the time (and I come often) the espresso is bitter or burnt.

It’s also surprising this place has no vegan pastries available - la quinta brings in guest from everywhere so it just makes sense to have these available even if it’s only during peak season. When I make the trek to IW coffee they make some effort to have muffins and cookies that are vegan.“

“Sunday at 2:30 PM. We walked in through the back patio. Only a few pastries left. Plenty of to go drinks. Plenty of staff so very quick service. Everything was neat and tidy, including the cream and sugar counter. Like restrooms, it needs constant attention because people are sloppy. Inside was one big room so that would make it hard to hold a conversation when it was full. Patio looked great.“

“A Starbucks these days is just a Starbucks. The chain that launched a thousand real estate careers has pretty much homogenized itself into just another coffee shop. The thrill of going into the warm, inviting "third place" is gone. The Christmas time thrill of the "magic", not so much.

This location stands out a little, it still has seats around small tables, a community high top and one or two padded chairs. The wi-fi is still free and there are a pretty good number of electric outlets. But its all-neutral colors and hard edges. And a not too easy drive-thru lane.

But, the crew here is particularly sharp, they understand how to run the place and seldom get it wrong. The drive thru staff is efficient, they usually have pleasant words. Yeah, there are other locations that are closer, but this is the one we like the best.

I like Starbucks Coffee. It is my favorite; I used to go every day. Now it's once or twice a week. It is not as warm and welcoming. The prices seem to increase by the order, and long before "inflation" gave an excuse. Others, like San Diego's Buzz have the edge on ambiance now.

Remember when they promised coffee would always be their core product. Now you're lucky to find a package of beans at a Starbucks.

Parking: The lot is small, there is parking in the center lot, but not close and you have to cross a travel lane. They have occasional jam ups.“

“Food & coffee was excellent as usual. But for the first time ever, the staff and atmosphere were disappointing. No personal cup discount or stars, despite saying it at the time of order. Plus, I handed her my cup and she filled it (counter order). Then the topper! The most neglected bathroom that i have ever encountered at Starbucks. Trash all over the floors and the walls need to wiped once in a while. (Photos included)“
