“I usually love this place but was sadly disappointed with my most recent visit. I had reserved a table on Open Table and had no issue checking in. The hostess was very sweet and took us immediately to our table. I noticed a couple of spots open at the bar so we decided to move. That was my mistake! Now I do want to preface the rest by saying the female bartender (never got her name) was busy. Too busy to smile, too busy to welcome us, too busy to ask us much of anything. We had to initiate all contact, ask for waters, ask for drinks, ask to take our order, ask for the check. No “How was your meal”? No interaction on her part whatsoever. My food by the way is usually very good. It was a disappointment last night. This is my reason for three stars, in the past I have given four or five stars and want to give them the benefit of the doubt. I will be back but be certain never to sit at the bar again and definitely at all costs avoid being served by the no name female bartender.“

“I really really wanted to give it five stars. I loved the vibe and most importantly how fresh the seafood was. The way the food was prepared shows that they take pride in doing their job. Our order had octopus and shrimp ceviche, which was full of juicy pieces of each generously served. We also asked if they served chips and guacamole, not on the menu but they happily and quickly made it and served with blue corn chips. For entree, my husband got Baja fish taco and I had spicy octopus and shrimp taco. The tacos were so well stuffed it was impossible to pick them up to eat. Our cup runneth over! LOL trust me, you don't need to order more than one taco. The portions are so generous, and the seafood is fresh and high quality. Service was friendly and speedy. Great people, great little business, I truly recommend everyone go support them. The only thing I take points off is the Baja fish taco was flavorless according to my husband. I didn't try it, but he really didn't like it. My food was excellent minus being over seasoned with salt and proportion of tortilla to meat. But all in all, good restaurant, should try.“

“Such a fun, colorful place to eat with many vegan options. We tried the Zesty and Earth Bowls. They substitute hummus for Tzatziki. Super fresh food, enjoyable atmosphere. Definitely going back. They promote Christianity on their signage and when I asked the server - says they are non denomination. Make sure to look at their website for the beautiful food pictures.“

“Hi. I was there for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I had fish with shrimp (creole on top) . I sat in the bar & the waitress was nice but I asked her if the entry was spicy & she reassured me it was not spicy. Well, it DID have a big kick to it & I could only eat about 1/3 of it because of that. She never came back soon after she served it to ask me how it was or I would have told her it WAS spicy. Your caesar salad was DELICIOUS & I highly recommend it. And your cheesecake with raspberry topping was good too. Had a glass of wine also. Sorry but I won't be back because the entry I ordered was spicy & told it wasn't . That was disappointing.“

“I love this place! I am on an anti-inflammatory diet and this is one of the few places I can eat. Double bonus - they serve grass fed beef, which is the only beef I can have. Their burgers are one of the best I have ever had. My personal favorite is the California Burger. It is amazing!

“If I could give 10 stars they would get it! I rarely go online to write a review, and if I do it’s because I had a horrible experience. I wrote a positive review maybe twice in my life here’s my third. Start with the cashier, I really can’t say I ever had anyone serve me with a better attitude than the guy who helped me and I say right by the register and he kept that amazing attitude with all customers. At first I had 3 chicken tacos from the taco Tuesday deal (which I might say isn’t cheap, but quality costs) which were surprisingly good because I don’t love shredded chicken. The chicken was so good I decided to get an asada one as well just to make sure they really are as good as it seems. They crushed it, asada taco came to over 7$ after taxes and it glad to say I’ll be happy to pay that price anytime anywhere to get that same taco!“

He is so young but his passion towards a customer at a simple donut shop is insane. I’ll come back here just because of the service he gave me and thats it. I make my own coffee at home and dont care to come out and eat a donut probably once every 3 months but because of him I wont feel bad to stop by. Great employees the owner should be proud!“

“My fiance and I were in the area for my nephew's wedding. On Sunday morning, we looked for a breakfast location. We prefer the small local restaurants as opposed to the chains. Up popped this Laguna Cafe, close by where we were staying. From the time we entered the door, it was obvious we picked the right spot! it was cozy, homey, friendly and downright delicious. The clientele were all laughing, enjoying the morning and the atmosphere. We got served by Monja, the proprietor, who wore a shirt with our favorite scripture, John 3:16. As we bowed our heads to pray, she gently joined us in prayer. What a blessing. Needless to say, we will go back when in the area. Highly recommend the food too! “This is my favorite local coffee shop in South OC! I love their iced lavender latte. They have a huge variety of flavors for coffee & more authentic tasting than a Starbucks. Wide variety of pastries, bagels, muffins, etc. All of their food is delicious & freshly made. I recommend the scramblers, salads & sandwiches. They have a nice patio for outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. The staff and owners are so sweet!
