The atmosphere was incredible the outside seating area look very relaxing. It was busy when I was there so I chose to sit inside nice tables lots of TVs. The staff was amazing and the owner was a very nice lady. I apologize. I forgot her name but she thanked me and it was just a great time. I will definitely be back.“

“Rarely do I find a restaurant where I want to try everything on the menu!! My friends and I had lunch here a few weeks ago; a few had been there before and they loved it. I was excited to try it. I ordered the Roasted Cauliflower and Chickpeas Bowl with added protein of grilled shrimp. It was absolutely delicious and so fresh…the shrimp was done perfectly. We also shared the cauliflower and dates appetizer. I was a little skeptical at first about the interesting combination, but they were fantastic…and addicting! I liked the overall atmosphere of the restaurant and the service was excellent too. My husband and I will be dining there tonight, and he is excited because there are several GF items he can try. I highly recommend this restaurant for their fresh and delicious foods!“

“The water cups had kind of a fishy smell. The curries were thick and the garlic naan was good. There was a good amount of meat in the vindaloo and makhani chicken. We weren’t a huge fan of the mango lassi. They do have a screen with Indian music videos playing which is nice.“

It was starting to get crowded. Limited parking lot spaces, limited inside seating. Inside and outside seating available.

Clean restaurant, enjoyable background music, and friendly staff.

I did love their Banana Latte, it was sweet enough to not be too sweet. The food was good. My wife loved their sopes. I just had an omelette.

My omelette was good, just not filling. A bit disappointed there, but maybe I just eat too much!

I sat in the bar & the waitress was nice but I asked her if the entry was spicy & she reassured me it was not spicy. Well, it DID have a big kick to it & I could only eat about 1/3 of it because of that. She never came back soon after she served it to ask me how it was or I would have told her it WAS spicy. Your caesar salad was DELICIOUS & I highly recommend it. And your cheesecake with raspberry topping was good too. Had a glass of wine also. Sorry but I won't be back because the entry I ordered was spicy & told it wasn't . That was disappointing.“

“My fiance and I were in the area for my nephew's wedding. On Sunday morning, we looked for a breakfast location. We prefer the small local restaurants as opposed to the chains. Up popped this Laguna Cafe, close by where we were staying. From the time we entered the door, it was obvious we picked the right spot! it was cozy, homey, friendly and downright delicious. The clientele were all laughing, enjoying the morning and the atmosphere. We got served by Monja, the proprietor, who wore a shirt with our favorite scripture, John 3:16. As we bowed our heads to pray, she gently joined us in prayer. What a blessing. Needless to say, we will go back when in the area. Highly recommend the food too! “Halal spot ; Dizzy Bird is located in a mall, specialize in rotisserie chicken and also offer wraps, which looked pretty good. I went for their whole rotisserie chicken meal with 2 sides — it was around $35. A bit pricier than nearby spots, but considering it’s halal (and halal options are usually limited), it makes sense.

The chicken itself was super juicy, tender, and full of flavor — definitely the highlight of the meal. As for the sides, I tried the fries and rice. They were just okay — not bad, but nothing memorable either.

Overall, solid choice if you’re craving halal rotisserie chicken. I’d come back for the chicken alone!“

“Out on date night and the wife found this little restaurant on IG that caught our eye on the pasta flight. Nestled in Laguna Niguel, the Italian restaurant is a cute little spot for a date night. We tried to find the flight on the menu, but it wasn’t as clear on the menu to look at. Nevertheless, we fought our hunger addled brains and were able to find our pastas that hit our hearts content. I ordered the basil babe and the wife got the veggie power which both were stellar. I will definitely be saving this place for a follow up.

“Sashimi is a sushi restaurant located at the corner of Lake Forest Drive and Dimension Drive. It appears to be run by a Korean family and is a popular spot among the locals. They have a sushi bar, but we opted to dine at a table. Steve greeted us and was not only friendly and helpful, but his service level enhanced our overall dining experience.

We tried a number of dishes during our visit. Among my favorites were the Veggie Tempura, Salmon Nigiri, Lake Forest Roll (I appreciate that they allow substitutions so I subbed spicy yellowtail in place of the spicy tuna) and Special Carpaccio S. The Spicy Salmon cut roll was nothing special and tasted more like a California Roll. The Yellowtail Cheek was good, but it was more meaty and less tender than I've enjoyed at other Japanese restaurants. My wife ordered the Pink Lady, but I prefer my sushi with rice. All in all, we enjoyed our Sashimi experience and I'd recommend checking it out if you're in Lake Forest and in the mood for raw fish at a reasonable price.“

“My family and I usually love Jizake and have been to this place multiple times over the years. However after last nights dinner not sure if we will come back. The first issue is that the server forgot to bring us 3 of our appetizers. I also noticed that my hot sake wasn't very hot and that they have trimmed down the size of their rolls. During the meal it became obvious to all of us outside that they were using a wifi speaker and whoesever phone it was hooked up to must have been moving around since the music was going in and out. Lastly while asking for the check I instructed the server to take the appetizers off our bill since we didn't receive them. He said he would and when he came back I was given a hand written bill with the break down. To his credit those appetizers were shown but not charged. I totaled up each line item and everything seemed correct as the subtotal was $170 with tax total should have been $183.17. However after taking my credit card he came back saying they totaled our bill incorrectly and apologized. Our new printed bill after charging my credit card didn't show the pricing break down for all the items but it appears that they added back in the money for the appetizers as with tax it came to $196.11 plus tip. By this point we just wanted to leave. After getting home we started not feeling so well. We don't usually have any bad reactions to sushi so maybe it was some sort of cross contamination issue. Either way I would caution everyone while eating at this establishment.“
