“As always, the fish and chips are my favorite in Humboldt - fresh fish, lovely finish on the batter. The highlight this visit was the Trinidad Fog drink (Earl Grey Latte with Humboldt twist) from the coffee/tea bar... delicious and had me craving another for days.“

“We had a 2 nights escape at Trinidad before going back the busy San Fransisco and loved this area. Seems they have done a bit refurbishment and the cabin look nice, spacious enough. You can't fault the friendliness of the people at the lodge, including their bar, restaurant and its ambiance. Nice stay and recommended!“

“I attended Moonstone Grill as part of a wedding party. I was actually photographing the wedding, but the couple invited myself and my officiant/husband to join. The food was surprisingly good and the views were amazing. The staff was very accommodating for our larger party and even held and served the cake the couple cut at the end of the wedding celebration. I would definitely recommend this spot for groups both big and small!“

“We love the Sweet Spot! Doing laundry is pleasant in the safe and open atmosphere. It’s nice to pop in a load of laundry and in the same place (!!!) grab a bagel or fresh baked good in the ice cream parlor and sit outside while your wash gets done.“
