The pepperoni is a bit on the oily side for me so I ordered the mushrooms and olives. The location is nice. Will definitely be coming back soon.“

“This place was wonderful! We celebrated my fiancé’s birthday here, and the staff went above and beyond — they even gave us the best booth in the house. Multiple team members wished him a happy birthday, which was so sweet.😊

The food was to die for! We had the Caesar salad, Brussels sprouts, burrata, Margherita pizza, and Funghi pizza — everything was absolutely incredible.

“NYC cheese slices are my jam, and we have an embarrassment of riches in Sherman Oaks. Within a mile of each other, there are three, count 'em three, authentic NY slice shops. My son and I visited all three of them on a self-guided cheese slice tour of Sherman Oaks. Pizza Wagon was stop three on the tour!

The atmosphere is good...NY decor on the walls in what feels like a truly neighborhood / not-chain space. The service was great too...the staff worked quickly and were abundantly friendly and helpful.

They do a good job with authentic style slices...the right amount of crisp on the crust and a good ratio of sauce versus cheese. The chew was good, though both the crust and sauce don't quite have the superior flavor profile of the nearby places.

It's definitely a good alternative to those, though, and miles ahead of the major chain pizzas in terms of NY style.“

One of the best spur of the moment stops ever - we absolutely loved the pizza and the service was phenomenal, super sweet server. We ordered two pizzas - margarita and the chef’s special apple/walnut/kale/caramelized onion/goat cheese. They were both amazing! We eat a lot of pizza and definitely have a new top favorite. Outdoor seating has both stellar views and people watching; there is a cute patisserie down the street that’s an amazing desert stop for the perfect date night; we will definitely stop by next time we are in town! I was shocked to find out that they use organic products as well, this is so rare to find nowadays. Living in Italy for many years I’ve struggled to find a pizzeria that matches the pizza I was used to eating. Every pizza I have eaten outside of Italy usually results in disappointment and left over dry crust. With this pizza I am left with happiness and the crust is just WOW, I crave more. Their khachapuri is the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had my fair share living in Glendale) and they have incredible salads (caprese really brings me back to Italy) and sandwiches (turkey is my go to) as well. When my fiance and were trying to decide what type of pizza we'd like the fact that he made suggestions to save us some money was really nice! The food was hot crispy and watery tasty! We ordered a medium pizza and we both ordered different toppings on our halves. The chicken wings were so good and crispy too. Cons: theres no bathroom, or cups or ice. “Excellent pizza! We got a large Pepperoni Pizza our first time (cause if you can’t do that right, no thank you.) it was an EXCELLENT NY Style slice and I would for sure get it again as a Bostonian (we know Pizza).

I just wish they didn’t have a bunch of guys standing out on the ramp and waiting on the parking lot to get Uber Eats or DoorDash orders. They kind of act as an intimidating, unfriendly presence. If they could just not stand in the walkway up to the restaurant, I wouldn’t have to say this 🤣
