“Giamela's is an old family owned chain with amazing pepper steak subs. I have been eating here since at least the early 80's, and unfortunately they've closed a few locations. Their subs are generously portioned and freshly prepared. Aside from their pepper steak, their meatball sub among others is classic. The atmosphere and decor is basic, but that isn't why you come here. Service is friendly.“

“Love the extra toppings on the subs. Family got the cold cut and pastrami. The smalls were plenty big for everyone. Wish more places put that much pickles /tomatoes etc on theirs!

Very busy the whole time we were there. But they were fast and friendly. Prepare for cash only ( no higher then 20's).

They could put a little effort into upgrading the seating area. A relative says it's looked like that since he was a kid about 40yes ago.

“Paulie’s is really good food. I drive by here for work all the time and have never been disappointed. Note: definitely not a budget eatery, but quality is good. One thing I love is that they seem to pay attention to the little details. They have great cold cuts, huge cookies, and even their own drinks.

“Mendocino Farms in Toluca Lake is hands down one of my favorite spots for a fresh, healthy meal. I’ve probably tried every salad on the menu, and they never disappoint. The ingredients are always crisp, flavorful, and satisfying. When I’m not in the mood for salad, the Peruvian steak sandwich is my go-to, absolutely delicious and packed with flavor.

The staff here are always friendly, welcoming, and quick to help, which makes every visit even more enjoyable. Parking is located in the back. While the lot isn’t huge, it’s manageable, and you get one hour free if you let the parking attendant know you’re dining at Mendocino Farms, just a small extra step for a great meal. “Daryl is a cheerful pick me up every time I stop by! He always has a huge smile, is exceptionally professional and so freaky fast! I’ve also heard him coaching and training others and I can tell he’s an amazing leader. I come by this location at least once a month and always have a great experience.

Parking: There’s street parking all around the intersection, just depends how much you need to walk. Service is usually quick enough that I can put in a quarter for 15 minutes at the meter and I leave well before it runs out.“

The parking is tight although there is underground parking on Verdugo (this location is on Glen oaks & Verdugo). I recommend the tuna or meatball sandwich or steak salad. They also have sides & sweets. I'm sure the menu is like any other Subway although the quality all-around is above & beyond.

“My family and I visited this location yesterday, Antonio took our order, his disposition, and he was very friendly and gave us suggestions. Hubby had a wrap, the elite it's new, I had the Italian herb and cheese foot long bread, and chose #8 garlic with olive oil, honey mastard and garlic oile my veggies, our lil one had kids meal, that was a good deal 6 inch sub, snack, cookie and juice. For the most part, it was tasty. However, too much SALT got from the grilled chicken, not to sure if the bread herb and cheese would have contributed and hubby said same thing SALT, thankfully the veggies helped and I am glad I didn't take the bacon. Subway take that into consideration, wherever you all source your rotisserie chicken from. Imagine eating this daily that sodium, can be a problem, for one, send up a person blood pressure, so be mindful when ordering. Our meal cost altogether $37.15 and he filled it up which was great. We got cookies, as combos are no longer available for the wrap or footlong. It has been a minute since I had a subway like 4 yrs ago. ??‍♀️, so this was news to me. The regular chocolate chip cookie was good. The double chocolate has a brownie taste, too much sugar for me. I would definitely visit again, probably try tuna or meatballs. “I ordered the 20 oz bottle of wild cherry Pepsi and a lays classic chips. I got the Jersey shores favorite with white bread and Mike’s way for free since I used a special coupon. It was worth it. The wait wasn’t that bad. I loved how all the flavors blended together to make a perfect sandwich. Ham and cappacuolo went well together and the provolone. I was full by the end of my meal.“

“This subway is the best one I’ve ever been at.
The staff is very nice and friendly and straight to the point, and the way they make the sandwich’s fast and swiftly with almost no mess is very pleasing to see. They also have lower prices than other subways I go too definitely recommend coming here.

To the people that put in bad reviews the restroom is closed because of the bad people like you and not because they chose to close it. Also the place here is the cleanest subway I have ever seen and just because there’s a homeless issue everywhere does not make it right for you to put the reviews lower. The staff here is kind and very respectful and you guys have to understand also that the staff is tired after working a long day so if they come off with an attitude they don’t mean it.“

“They have a really great sandwich from the hot counter (TTLA) which I get every time I visit LA. They also have a decent vegan pizza there too. You can get it by the slice or as a whole. Beware of the salad bar.. I stupidly misread the signs thinking it was $11.95 per box, but it’s per LB! I ended up with a $35 salad 😂😂 the supermarket section has a really great selection of vegan products too, this is my supermarket of choice when I’m in town! I think it has to do with homeless problems that happens time to time. Would be nice if customers are allowed to use who are buying food. If you happen to be during in the restaurant during the weekday between 9am to 4 pm, you could use the SoCal AAA restroom next door. Parking entrance could be a little bit tricky from Alameda. It is easier to miss and end up at the SoCal AAA parking lot instead.“
