I found this fabulous bakery and selected them, as I loved their story l, plus they have a 5 star rating. They were so amazing to work with and did exactly what they promised. They followed up quickly and even had it delivered to the hotel along with information and pictures on who they left it with for her birthday. I ordered a Hello Kitty cake for my daughter's 3rd birthday, and it was absolutely beautiful. Ji is phenomenal and pays close attention to every detail to ensure everything is perfect. My daughter was over the moon when she saw her favorite character, and all of her friends were excited too.

Ji truly thought of everything, from providing a special candle to packaging the cake in a beautiful clear display box that showcased the design perfectly. She even created a discreet opening behind the cake that made removing the fondant decorations incredibly easy. When it came time to serve the cake, I looked like a total pro and was able to cut and serve it within minutes.

And the best part? Oh my goodness, the cake was delicious! It was perfectly sweet and incredibly fresh. We chose the strawberry and vanilla combination, and it was a huge hit at the party.

Because the experience was so amazing, it was a no-brainer to order from Ji again for my son's 5th birthday. This time, she created a custom Buzz Lightyear cake that was absolutely breathtaking. The creativity and attention to detail were incredible. Even at an outdoor pool party, the cake held up beautifully. We chose the raspberry and chocolate mousse combination, and it was another crowd favorite. My son is still talking about his Buzz Lightyear cake to this day!

“Poul’s Bakery took our breath away , we couldn’t believe the cake we have taken pictures from we have searched the internet images and sent it to her the custom cake we wanted , and not only she made the identical one ,the taste was so delicious actually finished the entire slice, it’s rare for me to eat the whole slice, as many cakes are made with to much sugar , it overwhelms to entire cakes other ingredients, this was so perfectly balanced ,and l asked for second , so did few guests , we as host wished we ordered the bigger size , we don’t like the buttercream topping due to its excessive sugar , we ordered her soexisl topping , while you others ask no buttercream but we want Poul’s Bakery special topping we heard so much about it , sorry l don’t remember what it was called . My bad ,this Poul’s baker we also find out been around for decades as she is the second owner but uses the same original recipes. She said it’s a company secret Lol, we respect that Try Poul’s Bakery , it won’t s sidelong you and ask for a sample of their fantastic cannolis . And on the spot in events she actually make the cake front of your guests . It is possible to customize your shake, so knowing that they put about 5-6 scoops of ice cream into a large shake, you can ask for 4 of those scoops to be oreo cookies and cream and 2 of those scoops to be chocolate.“

“The cake had a simple appearance, and she could only write “Happy Birthday” in brown, which I found odd. I was initially a bit concerned—it was a thin, two-layer 8” cake for $50. However, the taste more than made up for it! It wasn’t overly sweet, and the strawberry filling with whipped cream frosting was absolutely delicious. I didn’t think much and decided to keep it. But today 04/26/22 I bought another cake, again jazmin told me that the cake was chocolate bread flavor with mocha. When I cut the cake it’s flavor was vanilla cake with mocha. This time I did call the bakery and explain what happen, they told me to go back and they would give a chocolate cake. Upon my arrival to the bakery, jazmin was rude and didn’t want to give me a cake but instead give me the refund for the cake. On both occasions, she was rude and seemed like she was on a hurry. Would answer questions in regards the cakes with attitude and rudeness. I have been a faithful costumer for years to this bakery, and love the pastries and cakes. But this new person, needs to get better training or be replace.“

She is incredibly kind and always remembers my order, so I never have to repeat myself or worry about being disappointed. She’s also so sweet and welcoming to my little ones.Sometimes other employees don’t offer samples when my kids want to try flavors, but Lacey is always patient and happy to let us sample different options. “I tried this place traveling from Vegas for a wedding, and I would literally come back just for this shop. I highly recommend their roll slices, and their donut filled with custard. I went in and got some pastries, tasted one in the car, and literally WENT BACK inside to order more for the hotel room because it was genuinely the best pastries I’ve had. What I really like about this place is they don’t use any preservatives, and everything was super fresh and was natural. For example, the pistachio deserts didn’t have that artificial green food coloring look or flavor. Everything is baked fresh every day, and it’s the perfect balance of sweetness. It’s sweet but not REALLY SWEET, Just perfect and light. Everything I tried was also extremely soft and pillowy. I will definitely miss this place when I travel back to Vegas, and will make this a must stop every time I come to Cali.

They need to turn up the AC or fix it for costumers and employees.You still can't eat your ice cream inside unless you're standing, the chairs are just stacked and for some reason there's a big table right in front of the cashier register that makes it difficult to hear and order.“

“They are located on the north side of the plaza, next to Pieology and the Acai bowl place. I've ordered via Door Dash from here and I've been in person. This location is fast when it comes to Door Dash deliveries and in store they're cranking out orders. I've been in the afternoon where it's a little slower and not too long of a wait. At night, it's up in the air, but everyone's still coming in towards closing to get ice cream. Last visit, it was one girl working on a Monday night and she didn't quit. It was her making the orders and ringing everyone up and she just powered through. I hope they're paying their staff well because they deserve it, especially when it's one person at night working.“
