“Best eel rice plate we've had in OC so far ✨

Between that and their service, it's why we keep coming back. We live nearby and like to come in when I have a craving for their eel rice plate. I don't know what it is about their eel. It's better than some excellent sushi I've had and I would consider buying it if they put it in the menu a la carte.

My partner gets the Build Your Own plate. Sometimes we get a macaron ice cream. Sometimes we get a drink. It depends on our mood, but either way, it's always solid.“

“This is a small shop among office buildings. Very convenient location for office workers. Most people carry out and there is no inside seating. The price is quite hefty for a bowl of poke but the quality is really good. I would recommend my friends and family to have lunch here every week.“

We ordered 2 large half/half bowls and one small (no drinks) each bowl included an upcharge for premium toppings and the total cost was just over $60. J Sushi knows how to do it right. We stopped in for lunch when we got to California and it was so good we came back the next day. We tried a few rolls, nigiri, udon, and some of their fried options. Everything came out fast, fresh, and full of flavor. Clean, balanced, and delicious from start to finish.

Casual, comfortable, and welcoming. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch or an easy dinner. Simple décor, friendly faces, and great food which is exactly what you want from a neighborhood sushi place.

“Waited approximately one hour to be seated. Spoiker: it was well worth that wait. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and pork buns. I can't decide which part was better, the noodles or the broth! The pork buns were priced just right at $8 for 2. Some of the best I've had. You are all so lucky to have such a wonderful ramen bar in your community. I am from Maine and will be sure to stop by this establishment every chance I get once I am in town.“

“Haven’t been to this location so I was able to try it today. I got the 2 scoops for $14.50! It was fresh and lots of topping options which was nice. Only the avocado is extra.

They don’t mix the sauce with the protein, they put it on top. I tried the wasabi cilantro sauce on the side and it was good.
