“First time here and they have a unique menu. Meet the owners & they were chill. Found out they got a location in SF too. I got the Viet Coffee with Coconut condensed milk... it hits like A1. Also got the Special (Dac Biet) Sandwich... and it Smacked! Will definitely be back to try the more unique fusion sandwiches like the Kare Kare one.“

“This is a place not a restaurant it's a manufacturing facility. All people that work there are nice. Alicia runs the place. They make a very good product. Simply they very good Tamales in whichever flavors they have made that day.
So if your Grandmother came from Oxaca she would make Tamales like these.“

We spoke to a gentleman about the last minute issue and he was more than willing to accommodate us to get an order out on a 48 hour notice - I am so so so grateful
So we ordered a greek salad with feta which arrived very fresh and it was delicious!! We had a charcuterie type tray along with the 3-cheese pasta. We also had a tray of garlic bread which we forgot to get a picture of. Our team really enjoyed the food and we are definitely going to add this caterer for future orders. “First of all I must say that Tavion did an incredible job helping me prepare a specific menu for our vegetarian diet and then he went even more in depth to come up with individual dishes from different countries we have visited. Domenic did an amazing job preparing the dinner for us. He told us about each item as he brought it out, all the unique ingredients, and even paired wine with the meal. It was an unforgettable birthday dinner. Highly recommend and I will definitely be using Duane's Catering in the future. “

Obbattu, paneer curry ,chapathi, gobi manchurian, vada, pulao, spinach dal, tomato rasam, Upma, rava kesari. All dishes are very very tasty. I have given 5stars. The only place we order food for New Year's celebration, became a family tradition. Was sad to see original owners sold this store but happy to report that new owner not only continues delivering phenomenal food items but invested to make store larger, more open, more attractive. “Real, honest BBQ. I had the 2 meat combo with brisket, ribs, mac & cheese and potato salad. Best BBQ I have had since I was in Austin Texas! The owner was working hard with the rest of his employees and was the one to take my order. He seemed very nice and was helpful. I work within walking distance so I can see myself becoming a regular here. Canyons is an excellent addition to Castro Valley's food scene.“

“Upon entry, I found the associates courteous with their smiles and slight bowing from the waist. A very Asian trait that, on top of the recording of the music of internationally renowned Arjit Singh in the background, added authenticity to the place. The servers were professional yet very warm and friendly. I ordered the flat bread with broccoli and onions, with a request to tone down the spiciness because of a previously bad experience with Indian food in San Diego. The flat bread was served hot with the delicious aroma of the spices wafting from the generous helping of the round bread that filled the entire 12" diameter pan! I was able to see and enjoy the taste of both the broccoli and onions in the flat bread. It was even served with a side of sliced fresh onions in vinegar and soy sauce together with another side of white sauce that tasted like cream of broccoli soup. Everything on the table, including a complimentary mango-with-yogurt drink, was a perfect blend, and I did not have to drench the table napkin nor my shirt with my sweat due to the level of spices tolerated by Indians but excessive to non-Indians. They gave me, a non-Indian, a spicy meal that I relished earlier this evening! Kudos to the entire staff!“
