“This place is one of those “hole in the wall” locations thats located inside of a small market. It doesn’t look like much, but their food is delicious. I really liked their Carne Asada burrito. They pack it with lots of meat and flavor. The nachos and cali burrito were just as good.Kick it up a notch and serve yourself some salsas, especially the chipotle sauce. It’s a must. The only drawback is the long wait due to its popularity. I recommend that you call ahead.“

“This place is down the street from my house, I finally stopped in here a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised. The service was great, I love the fact that they have photos and descriptions of the food. The food was fantastic and very fresh. I had an avacado shrimp salad, which was delightful. I went back 1 week later, and again, the food was spot on. I ordered the shrimp taco and a Cajun salmon taco. They both were fantastic. This place will definitely continue to get my business.“

“This place is incredible. I can't believe I never knew about it before. I had to use the restroom, so I just popped in. As I was leaving, the guy at the counter handed me a menu. When I sat in my car and read through it, it said "You're in for a treat." And they were right!I got the best rolled tacos - the spicy beef variety. They handmade them right there using super high-quality ingredients. I cannot recommend this place enough. This is an amazing spot that I'm so glad I discovered. “Wasn't planning on coming here originally but found this place on Google maps. Immediately walking inside I noticed the cleanliness and the simple layout of the Market. The cashier was very nice along with the crew in the kitchen. I ordered a asada burrito with 3 birria tacos. Waiting for the food, I appreciated the organized placement of goods for sale and the location of the kitchen and seating area. The food was great and the service was professional. Will be back. 5 out of 5.Parking: There are a few spots up front but if they are all taken you can park a little further out by the oil change building.“

Although I've only ever had the tacos, they're more than good enough to have me coming back again and again.Parking: Usually difficult to park directly in front of restaurant because there's only around 6 spots, but there's a large dirt lot behind the Mexican Market nextdoor that I usually use.“

“When we went we were the only table at that particular time. It started to pick up as we were leaving. The music is perfect it makes you feel as if you are at a restaurant on the plyas and there is a groupo playing. It has a semi modern look to the dining area. The food was good the chips and salsa come pre seasoned and we're quite delectable. The food we got wasn't spicy. I wish there was a bit more spice to the dishes but they were still good. Overall, there are a few mariscos restaurants in Escondido and while this isn't the best it is not the worst either. It's worth a visit.“

“I came in to order a Torta Cubana. I had tried to call but the phone was busy for a while. But never the less I ordered at the counter and even thou they were super busy I was in and out within 15 min. Talk about them using team work. As one was cleaning she would hand over the stuff that went in the fridge to the other and it was done in a snap. These girls really know how to work in a team. It was fairly busy for a Sunday morning a full house for sure. But they handled it.“
