“Subway is big business. I have, elsewhere on Google Maps, explained why that is often a bad thing. But I had a good sandwich there and have mellowed somewhat. Sleep on it, I say.So first, to all of you Subway lovers, let me apologize. I have no business judging them. Let those who want a fresh sandwich be the judge. One of the great things about capitalism is that those who try the hardest do the best.Subway has achieved its status in the business world because it's a really good meal.A funny thing happens with the passage of time. “I remember when this location was my local frozen yogurt shop, then it was my local mailbox place, then it stood vacant for months and months... my wife and I were praying for a Subway to pop up here magically... and POOF! The darn thing showed up a year or so ago.... we have been eating hear twice a week minimum since it opened. The staff knows us by name, my son, my dad, we all love this place. “I’ve been to LA Sandwich bar for lunch several times and it’s consistantly excellent - big menu, extremely high quality ingredients, and warm and friendly service.

Decided to order catering through them for a party and placed an order for about 60 sandwiches, a mix of regular and vegetarian options.

The sandwiches were a total hit! Our guests raved about them and it was perfect, handheld food to enjoy while talking to friends (we cut them into thirds to make it easy for guests to grab while they were chatting).

Would highly recommend not only for a quick lunch but a great option for a group gathering as well.“

“I stopped by Mike’s Deli in DTLA on my way to Union Station, and I’m glad I did! While the store itself isn’t flashy at all, they do produce some extremely good sandwiches.

The girl working at the counter was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a Mike’s Deli #1, which is essentially a spicy version of a turkey avocado sandwich. The sandwich was super fresh and bursting with flavor.

Really, every aspect of this sandwich was memorable, and the meat-to-vegetable-to-bread ratio was on point. The bread was very fluffy and nice, too.

“Alex the baker was so polite and friendly. I really appreciated him. The manager Jansen was excellent. He was kind and brought out to go bags to us rather than just calling out our number. Some trainees were there and one lady made sure to make a table available for us by asking the other trainee to join her at her table. It is very clean and the food as always was delicious! We got the cilantro chicken salad and the Santa Maria bbq. Fantastic! Easy parking and great location.“
