“Subway is big business. I have, elsewhere on Google Maps, explained why that is often a bad thing. But I had a good sandwich there and have mellowed somewhat. Sleep on it, I say.So first, to all of you Subway lovers, let me apologize. I have no business judging them. Let those who want a fresh sandwich be the judge. One of the great things about capitalism is that those who try the hardest do the best.Subway has achieved its status in the business world because it's a really good meal.A funny thing happens with the passage of time. The faster that people eat them, the fresher they become. Your purchases somehow increase their value. In some parts of this country, even in fresh food deserts, Subway delivers a fresh and wholesome sandwich.They make it right in front of you. As you slide right, you can call out, "Extra tomatoes!" or "Hold the onions!". Isn't that what makes America great? Yes. Two thumbs up.

Wheelchair accessibility: Former President Reagan, who passed the Americans with Disabilities Act, would find Subway sandwiches to be a good citizen. They've taken pains, at all facilities, to make all Americans feel welcome and comfortable. Handicapped restrooms, wheelchair ramps, and disabled persons parking - very nicely done - and just as President Reagan envisioned.“

“I remember when this location was my local frozen yogurt shop, then it was my local mailbox place, then it stood vacant for months and months... my wife and I were praying for a Subway to pop up here magically... and POOF! The darn thing showed up a year or so ago.... we have been eating hear twice a week minimum since it opened. The staff knows us by name, my son, my dad, we all love this place. “This is BY FAR one of my favorite sandwich spots in Los Angeles!

Everything about the sandwiches here is absolutely perfect - from the perfectly crunchy dutch bread, to the generous toppings and ingredients in each sandwich that is both filling and yet also not overpowering in any way.

It's an unassuming exterior for the most part - but within, the seating is ample for anyone wishing to dine-in.

I've also experienced nothing but the BEST service and friendliness on all of my visits to this establishment.

They have both hot & cold sandos, although my personal favorite remains their main staple - 'The Melrose'!
Delectably delicious with plenty of creaminess, flavor, and texture. Nothing overpowers other ingredients.

“I ordered the Ahvaz after asking someone working there what is their favorite, and it did not disappoint. If you like heat and tons of flavor, I would highly recommend. The bread, sosis bandari, and seasonings were probably some of the best combinations I've ever had, and it might genuinely be the best sandwich I've had in LA. Next time I'm in LA, this is likely the first spot I'll be going to!“

The staff exceeds expectations by providing an uncommon pleasant experience with their personalities. The kind lady and gentlemen, of a husband, who staff this Subway make me feel at home each, and every, time I walk through the door. They have great hours of availability in addition to delicious & refreshing Pepsi-Cola products that are all too difficult to find these days in the Restaurant-Chain world, to wash down tasty sandwiches.

Subway has a certificate of recognition for best sandwich, in Burbank, in 2025, and I imagine it’s in no small part due to this particular establishment at 401 South Glenoaks Boulevard.“

This place makes one of the most interesting flavor combos that does not make sandwiches boring. Love the saffron mayo.

When we came for the first time— they were out of focaccia breads and we had the WLF on baguette— it was fantastic. With the fried shallot, the flavors were well-balanced and found them different than other places.

We came back with the good memories and came back for the second time. The flavors inside of the bread were the same, but the bread— the original recipe— did not find the flavor balance and just sour throughout.

We learned that the original recipe isn’t good, but they don’t offer bread substitution (at least online). Tasting in a way could be just us, but not offering an option is not great. Happily willing to try again.“

“I LOVE GIAMELA’S Subs! Everything from the tuna, the pepper steak, the pastrami.. they all are must try’s and the bread is always fresh! “I stopped by Mike’s Deli in DTLA on my way to Union Station, and I’m glad I did! While the store itself isn’t flashy at all, they do produce some extremely good sandwiches.

The girl working at the counter was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a Mike’s Deli #1, which is essentially a spicy version of a turkey avocado sandwich. The sandwich was super fresh and bursting with flavor.

Really, every aspect of this sandwich was memorable, and the meat-to-vegetable-to-bread ratio was on point. The bread was very fluffy and nice, too.

It’s an d-school, simple deli that doesn’t stand out cosmetically, but it’s clean, welcoming, and they pump out some top-tier deli sandwiches at reasonable prices.“

“Philly’s Best on Melrose is legit! I got the classic cheesesteak and it was really good — juicy thin-sliced beef, melty cheese, and a soft roll that didn’t fall apart.
The portions are big and it actually tastes like a real Philly cheesesteak. The owner even visited our table, which was a nice touch. Friendly staff, quick service, and chill spot right on Melrose.
If you’re in the area and want a solid cheesesteak, this is the place. I’ll definitely go back.“

He was incredibly friendly, understanding, and made sure the situation was resolved right away without any hassle. That level of customer service really stands out. “*UPDATE* We relocated to Wisconsin and every time one of flys home a Mr. G's from here is an absolute must. My wife just brought me back a Mr. G's (she did it right and got everything on the side that wasn't meat and cheese) and it was still the best Sandwhich I've ever had. It's truly that good. Their dressing is a masterpiece. Their pickles must be hand delivered from heaven. EVERYTHING about this Sandwhich is next level. There truly is nothing else like it!“

“Off-the-charts delicious. And that’s coming from someone who’s eaten pizza all over the world — including unforgettable Neapolitan pizza in Naples.

I ordered a slice of the “Green” pizza and the Caesar salad, which is hands down the best Caesar I’ve ever had. The pizza crust is incredibly flavorful with the perfect consistency, and the edge of the crust had just the right thickness with beautiful airy pockets. Absolute perfection.

The Caesar deserves its own shoutout: homemade croutons that were so good they could be a menu item on their own.
