“Love the atmosphere and the music. The food was good but there are some key points to take note of. The tortilla soup was distinctly lacking in salt to bring the flavors together and there were FAR too many carrots. It cam across very bland initially until I added a lot of salt. The Big Curious Salad was very tasty and the dressing light but flavorful. I added beef skewers to the salad and those skewers were AMAZING! Please note that the online photos show the big curious salad with avocado and clementine, that is not the correct photo as the big curious has neither of those ingredients. All in all an enjoyable meal.“

“First time here at first a little put off by the vibe. I was recommended this place by the hotel person when my daughter wanted a burger and fries. However upon entering I clearly saw that this place was not wheel chair friendly nor a place to bring children. My 10 year old daughter said they have nothing without stinky aged cheddar. I couldn’t help but laugh and the vibe changed the waitress came by with a nice smile and reassured my baby that they indeed could make her a burger without aged cheddar. “Work right across from here so this place is one of my go-tos for lunch. Never actually sat down and ate inside even though the energy is always feels good. I've gotten just fries from this place about 4-5 times. There's a reason i've gotten it 4-5 times. They're crispy, always fresh and well seasoned. They also give you three sauces: spicy mayo, garlic aioli, and honey mustard. All are amazing and my favorite is mixing all the sauces and putting them on top of the fries. I've also orders the mozzarella sticks and the classic burger, no cheese, lettuce tomato and pickles. The mozzarella sticks are big and the cheese stretch is perfect. For the burger I didn't care much for the bun but the taste of the burger was amazing. I always come back and will always come back.“
“Came here for dinner on a Sunday evening around 6pm and was able to get a table for 3 almost immediately. Street parking nearby wasn’t too hard to find, and the meters are free on Sundays. We shared the Bavarian pretzels to start, which come with queso dip and mustard spread. The pretzels were excellent - beautifully browned and crisp on the exterior, while wonderfully soft and chewy on the inside. The queso dip was alright - nothing too special - but the mustard spread was delightful. I got the Machismo burger with sweet potato waffle fries (free upgrade from regular fries at the time since they were out of regular fries). This was one of the better burgers I’ve had in quite some time. The beef patty was juicy and had a good thickness to it, and I loved the crispy texture added by the fried onions. The bite of the jalapeños, chewiness of the bacon, and meltiness of the cheese all worked together really well to round out all the textures and flavors. The “crunch” bun was really fascinating - I’d never had anything like it, and I thought it was the perfect vessel for the burger. I also really enjoyed the sweet potato waffle fries - light and crispy outside with a soft and tender interior. The house-made ketchup was delicious with them, much more tomato-forward than your standard ketchup. While the food is a bit on the pricey side, I think it was well worth it, and I’d definitely come again to try out some other dishes!Parking: Street parking is metered, free on Sundays“
“This place had big shoes to fill when Delgrango's shut down and they certainly did not disappoint! They not only have great seafrood but also top notch entertainment to boot. My husband Langus and I have seen so many local acts such as Dongie and Congrad from Ancient Sprell, The Comedy Team of Dringus and Drungle, and Folk legend Beverly Drangus to name a few. R/10 boasts an all female culinary staff with Head Chef Pamela Fangers and her 2nd in charge Chef Sandy Grungerson and their deep fried cab legs, and if you're really lucky you could get a surprise broat visit from Captain Roy Bringus who owns a slip off dock from the patio! R/10 is simply a top class eatery and esteemed Rodondo Beach Mayor Jang Carangers often holds his/her reelection watch parties here, One thing my cousin Joshie and I can guarantee is you will not be throwing your paper money in the drumpster out back like many other eateries in the area. “Came here for some drinks. It was my first time trying this spot. They play loud music, have pool tables and air hockey games. Alot of TVs around so it's a great place to watch games. I liked the nostalgic decor in the bathrooms and old magazine style cut outs laminated on the bar tables. Great energy and the people are really nice too. They make a really good espresso martini. “Came for a happy hour. They have some cocktails on happy hour menu. Can order from bar and there is table service. Food is good for bar food: we shared fries tenders pizza and nachos. The ambiance is dark and comfortable with soft lighting and plush seating available. It can get loud with games. Parking is available in a paid lot but the machines weren't working the day I was there. Street parking is also available (read the signs) and there's also metered street parking.“

“We were in the area late on Thursday night, so we decided to stop by Barney's Beanery at around 10:30pm. I've been to the location in Santa Monica many times, but I'd always wanted to check out the original historic location. You seat yourself at whatever table you can find, and it was pretty packed but we didn't have trouble finding a table. People were sitting and leaving tables constantly throughout the night so I don't imagine you would ever have to wait too long on a Thursday at least. The crowd is definitely on the younger side and I'm 36, but I felt like a senior citizen, older by everyone by at least 10 years lol. It's a packed, loud, rowdy type of place with music blasting...not really my thing anymore but it definitely reminded me of the places I would to go in my twenties. The food was just ok... and it seemed like we were the only ones that ordered anything more than an appetizer. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, nachos with chicken, and carne asada fajitas. The only thing I really liked were the mozzarella sticks, and if I ever do come back here at such a late hour, I would probably stick to items from the appetizers menu. Service was a little slow to get started, but once we started ordering food and drinks, the server would come by regularly to check up on us. The server was definitely overwhelmed with people constantly flagging her down, but she remained friendly and I never got any sass from her so job well done. They could definitely use some more help though. Like I said, not really my type of place anymore, but I can't say I didn't enjoy myself...especially once the drinks started flowing.“

This feel predatory and shady as hell. You should inform your customers of any price changes that will happen through out the night. Don't showcase your happy hour, but hide the price hikes that happen later.Edit: I think the bartender was aware of my frustration with the hidden price hikes and gave me a shot on the house. Very nice of her, so I do appreciate her service.Edit2: the manager came over to me to explain that it is a city mandate that all bars and taverns increase their prices after 10. While it is a city mandate, I do feel that management has a responsibility to inform customers of this price change and what time it starts.
