“How can I start this, I'm on a big quest to find the best burgers around the world, and I might say that this one stole the top spot with some ease. Nothing to stray you from what matters, great meat, fluffy bun and fresh salad, but what takes it to another level is the perfect level of salt here. Place was OK, nothing special, but it doesn't needed to be, thay have the best product and that's what matters! Congrats can wait to be back to LA to eat this again.“

“I am a very picky eater, especially at new restaurants and this is the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. I felt like I was floating above my body. I was very happy I turned to my mom and said “rate this place” she said “9.5/10 easily.” My mom said “try the onion rings” I said “I’m very busy with the sandwich.” I go and try the onion rings, and in incredible fashion, the onion rings top the amazing sandwich. My mom said “Do you know how good the onion rings have to be to stay crispy for this long? That’s a miracle.” And this is someone who has been to Katz Deli in New York. Phenomenal.“

“I'm a big fan of Burger she Wrote. One of my top 5 places for burgers in LA and if your in town a must try. I'm looking forward to new location opening. But there is some major competition around the corner at Marathon just a block down the street that is always packed. Then NADC burger just opened up and that's hands down the best burger in LA. Hopefully Burger she Wrote is set on meeting the competition and the grilled cheese burger looks like a step in the right direction.“

“The burgers are flavorful and tasty. The ingredients are fresh, and the meat is of excellent quality. The meat is so tender that it virtually melts in your mouth, and the sauce adds to the flavor. Juicy and slightly pink in the middle, there was nothing that I did not like. This is the place to go if you're looking for a great burger in LA. P.S: "First Light Farms" provides their beef, which is certified humane, halal, and free of antibiotics, GMOs, and hormones (a New Zealand meat company).“

“I waited a year to come here from the east coast, and it was worth the wait. From the food to the atmosphere, I felt like I was in another dimension with the unique take on regional cooking styles to the sound quality of the music. You could taste the freshness in the ingredients — even the cheese in the dessert was clearly homemade and freshly made. This is such a unique and special place. Thank you for a wonderful experience. This was the best food I had in a long time.“

“This is a hidden gem in Chinatown. Not a lot of seating for customers, but throughput is fast, so you’ll eventually get a table by the time your food is ready. Food portion is great and tasty. Chili cheese dog has just the right amount of heat and burger was delicious. A little disappointed with the tuna melt as the cheese was not melted and was still cold. Fries are done just right and perfect for sharing. All in all, a fun eating experience with decent pricing.“

“I was greeted by the cashier, it was my first time there. I asked for suggestions and she suggested a chicken sandwich and a hamburger which were the special of the day. I let her know that I didn't live in the area and was concerned that my sandwich would get muchy from the sauce. She offered to put the sauce in a container so I can add it when I got home. I would definitely return if I have a chance.“

“I saw this place while driving and saw a line waiting for their food, so I decided to give it a try.. Ì asked those in line, what was good there.. The answer was either the teriyaki bowl or plates, and the teriyaki burgers.. I got the teriyaki chicken bowl.. it looked and smelled great driving home.. After eating it, I didn’t understand the line of people waiting.. It was okay, but in my opinion, no big deal.. I’ll be honest, I did eat it ALL, and the serving size was BIG, so by no means was it bad.. To be fair though, I’m gonna have to try again, and see what I missed the first time..“

“I long heard tales that this had the best burger in LA. I decided finally to visit on my birthday. It was 45 minutes to Compton and worth it. NOTE: It's easy to miss the storefront, The trick is to drive into the large parking lot just south of the storefront. I love the menu here because you can add an egg, pastrami, extra Patty and then there's choices of hot relish and sweet relish. Get both. This is Mama's place and Mama is the best, incredibly friendly, generous and they serve great food. I haven't had chili cheese fries in 6 or 7 years and it was worth breaking that pledge to eat it here. It was so good. I think there's just a little hint of oregano in it that gives it a great flavor. That's unexpected. I ordered a double turkey burger with pastrami and everything on it but mustard and my companion got a double cheeseburger with everything on it. They were freaking outstanding and the price was right. It was so cool to see people who were regulars just coming and going. I'd eat here too because it's the cheapest burger that I've had in La that was decent, my companion noted that McDonald's is just a block away and the burgers. There are the same price but they're not the same quality at all. These are excellent burgers and My friend was like you have to wait like 5 or 10 minutes, but it's worth it because they're cooked right there and it's awesome. A mama let us eat in the table out back and gave us an extra fries and barbecue sauce on top of the chili cheese fries. She was so accommodating and so friendly and gave us a big hug before we left. Próxima vez, Mama!“

“It takes a while for drive thru but believe me it's worth it I got a mojarra, menudo, caldo de res, and the fried shrimp dinner it was good and staff is very nuce.
