I have contacted the W. LA 2 time about this problem. I ordered on 7/15 and realized i scheduled it for 7/16, i called the restaurant, the woman over the phone said she cancelled it, i reordered it online, the delivery was done. the next day i got a text from door dash saying a driver was on the way to the location to pick up my order. I called the restaurant and they said they had no order, the driver also confirmed the order was canceled via text message. I had been waiting for the refund to post to my account and 10days later there is still no refund, no response from Zankou. I called the restaurant again this morning and spoke with Jaime and he insisted i needed to call doordash, doordash has no number to call, when you click help, it says to contact the store. this is a lot of money and i need to know how i am going to get it refunded when i have been sent in circles? this is the only way of contacting the company, no phone number, no one responds to the contact us form, no confirmation emails on orders. We go to Zankou 2-3 time a month, from the west LA location. I've ordered catering for work multiple times and we have never had any problems before. thats what makes this so hard to write. we have finally heard word there is going to be a zankou in the south bay and are family is very excited.

“Wow. I just put my fork in to pull some chicken meat off and it was so tender the bone popped right out (even though it wasn’t my intent) and came off 100% clean. Unreal.. reminds me of the food back home. Can’t wait to try everything on the menu including the fried eggplant vegan sandwich. We got the lemon chicken, falafel, and fried cauliflower, which is more like a cauliflower steak than florets. Delicious but just an fyi.“

“So, it was my first time ordering from wild bird. I did not know what to expect. All i know is that i was starving and in the mood for some really good food. so I went to this location. I order my food and a cucumber drink. My order was ready fast. But instead of the cucumber drink, i wanted to try their water melon. So i asked an employee there if i could switch and guess what…. he actually switched it for me with no issues at all. His name was Joe. I don’t know if he will see this, but i still have to say Thanks Joe! you really made my day. Now because of the good food … and the watermelon drink being on point, plus the excellent customer service. I will definitely be coming back here! “Had the Reaper and Extra Hot — definitely not a joke 😂 The heat is intense and the spice really lingers in your mouth for a while. It’s actually a fun challenge if you love spicy food. The chicken was juicy and flavorful even with all the heat. Secret tip: dip it in the honey — it balances the spice perfectly. Would absolutely try it again!“

“It was about that time again 4 lunch and I was around the area of Gardena and I found this gem sups chicken OMG one of the best chicken sandwiches tender combos and drink I've seen in a while you definitely must come and support because 👁️ will be coming for their once a month breakfast sandwich 🥪🥪.....“

“I ordered the slider, tender, french fry combo and loved it. The slider was very hot. I’m thinking that it had an extra spicy sauce on it. It made my nose, run a little and feel compelled to eat a bunch of french fries to reduce the spiciness in my mouth. But, I loved it! The tender was not as spicy and slightly dry, so I put some of the honey that the nice gentleman at the counter gave me when I picked it up. I originally ordered the food and intended on bringing it home, but changed my mind and Ate it in the restaurant because I Didn’t want it to get cold.
I loved the food and wish there was a Dave’s Hot Chicken restaurant closer to my home. The food reminded me of a Famous hot chicken restaurant in Nashville. I was so glad to have that food again. 😊😋 Btw, I gave The atmosphere four stars Because it was cold in there. But that’s how fast food restaurants do it. I did love the music selection. I heard ABC (which I couldn’t get enough of in the 80s!) and Blondie and a couple of current songs. That made it seem more homey and unique to me. Overall, it was a great experience. The people at the counter were very friendly. I wanted to wash my hands afterwards and saw that there was a keypad on the restroom, but I figured it out on the first try, which was nice. 😂“

“Came for the codfish Sando which is available in limited quantity daily. Staff are really friendly and will help you along with your order should you need any help with your order. The fish burger is really good and the tartare sauce they put on it is amazing. Can also order a side of the daybird sauce that they have and it has a really good umami flavor that goes very well with the fries. Would be back again to try the chicken Sando too.“

“Ordered this place on doordash and it was really good. Theres no ½ and ½ button on doordash but i put it in the notes and got half spicy half soy. The wings were fried perfectly. Rendered dry sky and moist well cooked inside. The soy garlic and spicy Korean were delicious. Not too sweet or artificial tasting. The side is what i would describe as a “deep fried side chex mix” it was onion ring, fries and hand cut potato chips. This was a delight and solid market differentiator. I got 8 wing halves total and the website describes the order as 1lb ranging between 6-8 wings. For the price, i liked getting the full 8 wings. Will be a regular.“

“Everything about Pops is fire, they’re long lines go by quick thanks to the fast cashier. The food has always been consistently delicious. The seating is limited, but most people take out. Check it out if you’re in the area and want some rotisserie chicken.“

“I saw this restaurant on Facebook or Insta on Friday night and the pic and menus made my mouth water. We took take out on Saturday night and the chicken was mouth-watering! I want to swing by again tonight just for the chicken. Since we did take out, when I got home the fries were cold and the salads were just OK. We didn’t care for the dressings they provided, (but that is just personal taste) I would definitely recommend, it is new to our neighborhood and we will eat there again.“
