“Good place for Italian. DO NOT RELY ON ANY PRICING you see on google Maps to give you the cost of meals here. ITS OFF ABOUT $8.00 to $10.00 per plate. It is not accurate or updated on Google Maps. As for the meal, my chicken piccata was a little tough. Usually, at most restaurants, I order this meal, the breast meat is butterflied, sliced thin, or has been tenderized with a mallet or ran through a tenderizer to break down firmness The sauce for the piccata was nicely acidic, with just enough wine, capers, and butter to complement the chicken.“

“The most authentic Philadelphia style steak sandwich in LA! I grew up in Phila, but in the 35 years I’ve lived in LA, I never found a place that could duplicate that perfect Jim’s Steaks style…not until South Philly Experience launched their food truck 14 years ago! So delicious! Then, sadly, they disappeared a few years ago. That’s why I freaked out yesterday when I found out that they now have this permanent location! They ship in the Amoroso rolls to make the perfect Philly steak sandwich. Jonathan did his homework to cook them properly. He gets that shred on the grill just right. They have Whiz (of course) and their “pizza steak” nails the South Street style exactly. Huge portions, quick service. And they have peanut chews and Herr’s potato chips. BEST Philly steak sandwich outside of Philly! Go now!!“

“Where do I begin? The reception by the lovely group of charismatic hostesses... Our amazing waiter Gregory?…The warm greeting from manager, Josh? It was all an overwhelming dining experience from start to finish.A round of Prosecco followed by a Rosso pizza was a complete surprise The occasion was my mother’s birthday (which I never disclosed to them), and she has never felt so well taken care of in her 75 years! The lamb chops perfectly cooked over fire, hefty salad perfectly seasoned and dressed, fresh pastas perfectly timed and desserts to die for. When the smoke cleared and we were ready to go, mom and pops insisted on finding Josh for a big hug and warm thank you. This post/ review is a late one as Josh is no longer there, but I’d like to express how thankful we were and give the restaurant and team the best review we can. “Food was amazing! The service was bad! Very expensive but I expected to be better taken care of. They were fully staffed but no one seemed to be working efficiently. We were 8 and none of the food runners ever knew who ordered what. They had to ask on every plate they brought. Not just our table but others as well. I don’t know if they have busboys as our table was never cleared. Plates upon plate stacked up. No one asked if we wanted a second drink and the glasses were never picked up. When we ordered dessert we had to move the 16 empty drink and water glasses to one side, gather the bread plates, wipe everything down and wait for our desserts. It was a busy night but not too busy for bad service. I kinda expected more than diner service at such an expensive restaurant.“

The layers were perfectly balanced and each bite was full of rich, savory flavors. Let's not forget dessert! We shared a few different things and they were all great. The tiramisu was fluffy and decadent and the chocolate mousse was rich and smooth. Overall, Angelini Osteria is definitely a must-try for Italian food lovers in Los Angeles. “My daughter recommended this place so we gave it a try. There was only a handful of people there… it was a Tuesday. We sat in the outdoor area. We ordered two different veggie pizzas and bread sticks (kinda pricey). There wasn’t much to choose from on the menu. The food was more like an appetizer size serving but It was delicious. I have nothing negative to say about the taste of the food or the atmosphere. However, the parking was insane. We parked directly at the curb next to the entrance of the outdoor eating area. It’s metered parking. We had to add coins every 15 minutes… it only allowed 15 minutes before it capped out ?. I’ve read others say it was an hour meter, well it wasn’t the day we visited. I set a timer on my phone (a ticket would have ruined my day).It was a nice restaurant. I experienced it once but I’m sure I won’t come again.“

“If you're looking for that classic, old school family-style Italian dinner in LA, Donna's is the way to go. They have a lot of the classics like pasta Ragu, chicken Parmesan, spaghetti and meatballs, veal picatta, etc. But they also bring a new age flare to some dishes like the lasagna Rollatini (think lasagna but instead of horizontal layers you get tight pinwheels of meaty, salty, cheesy goodness!) and fussili a la vodka with whipped ricotta. The restaurant itself does remind me of a Brooklyn-based Italian mom & pop restaurant with a checkerboard floor. It's a pretty small venue which is probably why it's so hard to get a reservation (you gotta book 1 - 2 weeks in advance at 10 AM on Rezy). This does make for a more intimate dining experience which is nice. We started with the garlic bread. Oh my god this was the best garlic bread I have ever had. The outer crust was so crisp and crunchy. Covered in parmigiano cheese. The inside was perfectly fluffy and so garlicky and buttery. I could not stop eating this bread I was genuinely considering ordering a second. Next we got the Caesar salad which was divine. Perfectly dressed with a fresh dressing and again served with tons of parmigiano. As a group of 3, we got 3 entrees in addition to those starters to share. We chose the chicken Parmesan, the lasagna Rollatini, and the pork ragu. The chicken parm was crunchy on the outside and loaded with cheese. The lasagna was fantastic, my only critique was that it was a pretty small dish but one bite of it was very rich. The pasta sheets were thin, arranged in pretty vertical pinwheels, and there was lots of meaty sauce in between all the layers. The pasta ragu was so good. Perfectly cooked al dente pasta topped with a rich pork ragu sauce. The service was great, our waiter was very friendly and attentive. My only critique was the dessert. The carrot cake was not moist and had a very citrusy flavor which was not what I was expecting. And the cannolis tasted stale. I would skip dessert but otherwise, enjoy a fantastic dinner at Donna's!“

Unbelievably delicious food and the service was out of this world. Definitely a little pricey (similar to NYC prices) but worth it, in my opinion. No “influencers”, no “wannabes”, just fine dining with fine people. Will be back again next time I'm on the west coast and will recommend to all of my family and friends. We were there on Saturday night so it was a little bit noisy but that would be my only issue - if u would even call it that. Personally, I like a restaurant to have atmosphere and a little life. “A very pretty friend and I decided to try Bestia on a Thursday at 5pm. After arriving and entering an outdoor patio that leads into the indoor seating, we couldn't help notice the bright blue wall, nicely trimmed tree, outdoor string lights all coming together to make a quiet eating experience but my pretty woman friend wanted us to experience the inside. Inside was livelier, more people, closely positioned tables, and an open kitchen facing the eating area. Cool modern music that's not too loud. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the coconut red chili oil scallops garnished with herbs and a slice of strawberry. I was pleased with the combination of flavors. Then we shared the bone marrow pasta, which was packed with savory flavors and interesting soft textures. It was delicious. Of course, we had to try the herb ceasar salad everyone raves about when talking about Bestia, and the hype is all true. We then shared a marguarita pizza and let me say this, despite the overly salted tomato sauce, the napolitano style crust elevated the rest of the pizza ingredients. I had old sunglasses: a tequila blanco cocktail with sweet citrus flavors all well balanced, I couldn't just have 1. My pretty friend had unsweetened ice tea, which was refreshing with a subtle fruit flavor. For dessert, we shared the chocolate dessert with a crispy sweet and salty crust that complimented the rich thick chocolate mouse that was just the right amount of sweet. It's the kind of place you take an attractive friend you really, really like. Recommend you plan at least a couple of weeks ahead to get a table because this place has a big following.“

“Great restaurant but couple things:1) the food, pastas in particular, are very heavy flavored, we went in large group and all of us had digestive upset that night.2) the server pushed us to order way too much. She had us order 12 dishes (not including bread) for our party of 6 adults and asserted it would be a light meal. We ordered at least three dishes too many. And we are not light eaters. We were not happy with her guidance.“

“LOVE! A brand new find in DTLA. Great value for money. Great flavor. Nice people. Hand made Italian food served with flair. Getting into a 1 Michelin Star Restaurant with no reservation on a busy Saturday night: four people; cocktails, bottle of wine, starters, entrees AND desserts for under $400? PRICELESS. See you again soon, Factory Kitchen. A+Vegetarian options: A few options for veggie friendsParking: Not sure if street parking is paid or unpaid in the evening. Big Valet lot. “Great place to experience some new flavor combos. Service was top notch, but for us the flavors were a little dull. Maybe a case of having too high of expectations going in, but the street corn pasta dish was very underwhelming. We wouldn’t have known what it was going for. Again, food was still delicious, maybe worth another shot to try the rest of the menu.“

“Nossa Caipirinha Bar offers an authentic Brazilian experience right in the heart of Los Feliz. My partner and I recently indulged in a late-night adventure at this vibrant establishment, and we were thoroughly impressed. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by the lively beats of Brazilian music, instantly transporting us to the streets of Rio. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with warm décor adding to the immersive experience. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the cocktails. Each drink was meticulously crafted with quality ingredients, perfectly capturing the essence of Brazilian flavors. Whether it was the classic caipirinha or one of their signature creations, every sip was a delight for the senses. As the night progressed, the bartender recommended we try Brazilian fernet, and we're glad we did. It was a bold and flavorful choice that left a lasting impression, showcasing the bar's dedication to offering unique and authentic experiences.Overall, Nossa Caipirinha Bar exceeded our expectations, delivering not only exceptional drinks but also a memorable cultural journey. Whether you're a connoisseur of Brazilian cuisine or simply looking for a lively atmosphere to unwind, Nossa Caipirinha Bar is a must-visit destination. Obrigado for an unforgettable evening!“

“This is a retro yet super trendy neighborhood bar that offers strong craft cocktails and some Italian bar food bites. The drinks we tried were all super strong and tasty. The food is good as well but keep in mind that it's fairly small portions more meant as snacks. The atmosphere was top notch! It's pretty crowded even on weeknights, so you'll have to hover a bit to snag a stool or table at peak times. It's pretty loud and small so maybe not the best for groups.Parking: Try surrounding residential streets“

“Obsessed! Among a sea of fancy, loud pizza places in LA, Heirloom stands on their own merit. I drive quite a bit just to visit this spot. The pizza is fresh, balanced, and delicious, the place is comfy, and the owners are kind. My ONLY complaint is that they’re not open more often (I always crave them on Friday).“

“An authentic Italian pasta place which lives up to the hype. We came after hearing about it from the Worth it series, and was excited to try some of their featured dishes. They broke down their menu and explained how they prepared their pastas. The prices have definitely gone to the pricier side, but I would say it’s worth the quality and portion size. I would definitely recommend trying the salmon and cream dish. Very limited seating, but if you’re lucky enough to get a seat they’ll give you some great bread as well. We loved it, and it’s definitely worth a try.“

“I adore this amazing eatery. My favorite thing is the Ricotta & Orange Blossom Honey toast. The bread is crunchy, thick, grilled and fullof flavor. The extremely thick layer of high quality ricotta has such a delicate sweeness. Topped with toasted sesame seeds that add not only texture but a slight nuttiness that perfectly compliments the ricotta. And then the piece de resistance is the perfect drizzle of local orange blossom honey it adds the peefect end note to this lucious dish. I love eating there as well. Everyone is so friendly. The cooks are consistent and fabulous. It's so much fun just enjoying the sights and sounds of Fairfax while have the best pizza or various bruschettas they offer. The ambiance is half pizza joint and half Los Angeles trendy eatery. It's definitely one of my favorite places to dine.“

“It is a great little restaurant! First, let's start out with they have valet parking which was nice and we didn't have to worry about finding a parking space! The ambience in the restaurant was exceptional! I think the owner of the restaurant actually came to our table and asked us if we were okay, which was very nice! it was Easter brunch with three courses, and each course came out very quickly so we weren't sitting there waiting and waiting and waiting for the next part of the meal to come out! The staff was very professional. The food was delicious! there was four of us and we each got something different, and all of it was very very very good! They also have a full bar with specialty cocktails and great wine!“

“Honestly, came here for the 4.9 rating on Google and the place honestly didn’t disappoint! David is super duper friendly, helped us with some questions and had a smile througout. That’s what i guess good customer service is. They have pizza slices but we ordered a small pesto chicken pizza and it is the BEST i have had till date. The pesto had a nice tangy flavor to it, chicken was cooked to perfection and the crust had just that perfect crunch! This place is a MUST visit. Thank me later :)“
