The coconut fried shrimp was fantastic, the burger was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the tacos were super yummy. We will be back again soon.“

“This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the North county area. I mostly do takeout from this place, but it is a great experience dining in as well. Food is delicious and portions are generous. I also highly recommend appetizers and dessert here. My go to is the drunken noodles or massaman curry, but everything else I've tried was amazing. Service is fast and friendly, there is rarely a long wait for food or drinks.“

Has the perfect little dive bar vibe but I can also get a nice cocktail with no hassle if that's what I'm feeling that night. Bar tenders are always cool. “Casual spot with some of the best poolside food! The beer and tequila clams were some of the best I’ve ever had and my steak frites was cooked perfectly to medium rare. It typically comes with chimichurri but I couldn’t have that, so chef prepared a delicious garlic and herb compound butter for me instead. Thoroughly enjoyed how delicious my meal was and it was made all the better by great service and atmosphere. Attentive service from Zack and an all round fantastic dining experience with some fabulous views of the sunset.“

“Amazing service and amazing food in a perfect setting. Not only is the resort top notch but the food options are up there as well. One place in particular is Pacific Point which offers high top seating, bar seating, and a very comfortable outdoor space as well. My wife and I had an early dinner one evening in the bar area and our food was great. Also, the service was excellent as well. Our server was accommodating, answered any and all questions, and checked on us frequently. Definitely a great spot if you are looking for an amazing meal and service.“

“This is a staple in Carlsbad and it seems the people who have problems are expecting something different than what Golden Tee is or are a high maintenance problem themselves. This is a dive bar and it’s meant to be a dive bar. If you want something else, go to the village or a hotel bar. The bartenders here work incredibly hard, and deal with problematic people in a swift but courteous manner. The drinks are always poured correctly, the tab is always correct. They’re professional and I have never felt unsafe here even at night stopping in by myself. Both male employees with long hair and the bald Mexican guy have always been fantastic and take care of business. Recommend this place if you’re in a no frills, calm mood just looking to be comfortable. Great job, guys!“

“Better than some other bars where you have to mess about with credit cards, pay later, &c. Friendly bar staff. Decent pinot noir. Classic rock on the sound system: like most of Southern California, they haven’t progressed past the early 1970s, so much of the music is 50 years old!! Warning: not a drinker’s bar. Locals sip on kombucha while you’re sitting there getting slaughtered.“

“We were in Oceanside for a week and visited Finney's 3 times. Loved the fun vibe downstairs and upstairs. It's rare to find good, friendly service these days, but you will find it here! The food was incredible and decently priced. Even better if you can make Happy Hour. I can't list all the favorites because our group tried so many apps, salads, pizzas and sandwiches over the 3 days and everyone was very happy. A couple personal tips - get a side of the nashville hot sauce for Peggy's crispy chicken sandwich if you like spicy. A5 Wagyu Burger - try the steak sauce on the side. We tried it with it on and off. Half of us preferred it without the steak sauce as we felt we could taste the delicious meat flavor more without it...but that's our personal opinions. Highly recommended, you will be happy you gave Finney's a try!“

“We had a group of ten gals for a book club get together. We were able to sit outside where it is quiet and we could discuss the book easily. “This is probably the best Mexican food that I have ever had in recent years. Their carne asada is to die for - with the most generous portioned meat, cooked to perfection, and not greasy at all. Their grilled fish was amazingly good. So does their fish soup. Love their freshly made hot tortillas and yummy salsa. Because of COVID, they also have an outside covered seating area. Will definitely come back next time I'm in town.“
