“A buddy of mine took me to this small joint Mexican restaurant in Vista. We both order Cani Asada burrito ?. The cashier lady is super friendly. The burrito is tasty and made just the way it should be. Meat, Fresca salsa, quacamole.! No BS rice and bean. Another bonus is chips and salsa included with your order.
Being away from San Diego for so long and unable to find a decent Mexican restaurant with authentic foods. This place hit all the spots.
Wish the meat a little bit rare, but I am satisfied with the meal. I definitely will stop by again when I am in the area. ??“

“I've been coming to this place for years, recently it was sold to different management and I thought the quality was going to go down. Quite the opposite, the food has gotten so much better.Mariscos are really good, fresh flavor. Salsas are better than most places, they're actually flavorful and spicy. It's hard to find good mariscos in North County, but this place is amazing.Highly recommend it.“

“Absolutely stunning authentic Mexican food I ordered the fish taco and carbs asada taco and was shocked with the high level of ingredients and original flavors. The fish tacos batter had the perfect ratio and the fish was cooked wonderfully and the carbs asada taco had high quality steak with great tortillas and overall excellent Mexican food.“

“Amazing service. Staff was very friendly. I ordered a cabeza burrito and it’s honestly some of the best cabeza I’ve ever had. I also like taco shops that don’t stuff their burritos with too much rice and beans. In fact, the burrito I got was just meat, onion in cilantro. Just the way I like it! I definitely recommend this place. The diner was also cozy. Padded seats and it was cool inside. Definitely my new go to spot when I’m working in vista!“

“Excellent food, the chicken tacos are served with just the tortilla and meat, but the diy aspect of the salad bar is awesome because you can put as much or as little of the toppings as you want! The salsas were all good and the bar has limes and pickles carrots and cucumbers as well. The tacos were insanely cheap but super delicious, I will definitely be returning“

Be careful guys from La Gordita. Check that element that is speaking badly of you for your lack of kindness.“

“I've went there 4x it was super good I ordered a carne asada it was well cooked and I ate their. service was 8 out of 10. Food was 8 1/2 out of 10. I will go back there again. The owners wife is super nice and her son is very professional and caters too good service“

Ordered a Machaca breakfast burrito. Must try! Growing up in a Mexican household, the salsas make or break my experience at a local spot like this one. Both the red and green salsas here made Erika’s earn a spot on my list of go-to’s. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu, especially the menudo.“

Just by standing waiting to oder your head may be spinning when you see what other people order. Everything served fresh not from frozen stock. I have tried several dishes not mainstream and enjoyed each and everyone of them. Pricing not outrageous yet and wait time usually less than 10 min depending on time of day. Take out is preferred..“

“The food tastes delicious the torta Cubana, quesadilla and sopes that I tried were very tasteful and was a good price for the quality of food served. The have special prices for taco Tuesday's I'd recommend trying this mexican food out. Rice and beans were realy good. They have pastor on a trompo.“

“Hole in the wall that I frequent every time I visit Vista! The food is very good. The salsas are bomb! Not much of a seating area but that doesn't bother us becuz we order to go. Love the food!

Parking: Strip mall parking, service is so fast, if parking is full just wait 5 mins for a spot.“

“I was just looking for a wings place, I did not expect such a varied menu. I ordered the carne asada fries, the chipotle fries, buffalo wings, and a carnitas quesadilla. Everybody loved their food!

I had the quesadilla and this may be my second favorite carnitas. Well seasoned, soft, and not oily. I also had some of the chipotle fries. Everybody was right, they were amazing.

It's criminal that there wasn't a line out the door. The prices were reasonable and service was very quick. We definitely will be visiting again.“

“Seemed to be authentic Oaxaquenian food. I had a one-meat Tlayuda, like a huge tostada of refried beans, shredded lettuce, lots of shredded Quesilla cheese and a bit of guacamole. Also a smallish piece of grilled beef that was tender but very dry like jerky. The salsa was flavorful and on the hot side. The dish was OK but I probably wouldn't order it again. Also tried a couple things from the bakery side and they were fresh and tasty. Service was good. Bathroom was clean. Seemed like the servers and most of the customers spoke Spanish. If I was in the neighborhood again I'd stop in and try something else. Since other reviews mention waiting too long for the food to arrive, I should say the food came in a very reasonable time.“

“This is the only Eribertos in the north county that has the best service. The vibe is very positive and always a big smile from the staff. The food is always made to order and always what the picture on the menu shows. Other chains are rude if you have a request and the portions cut way back since covid. I very much appreciate this Eribertos because it is the only one who has wonderful people who make your food with love and never frown upon special requests. Seriously, they are the best in north county. Thank you!“
