“We came with the whole family (7 of us) from San Diego & Murrieta because based on its menu Los Cabos in Vista offered all the types of seafood (raw oysters, whole fish with head and tail, shrimp, octopus). Everything including the tacos we ordered was so finger-licking good!!! Compliments to the chefs! And best of all was the service from Beyonce & Karina - quick, helpful, friendly!!! Our only suggestion would be to please add oxtail to the menu!!! Gracias a todos.“

“A buddy of mine took me to this small joint Mexican restaurant in Vista. We both order Cani Asada burrito ?. The cashier lady is super friendly. The burrito is tasty and made just the way it should be. Meat, Fresca salsa, quacamole.! No BS rice and bean. Another bonus is chips and salsa included with your order.
Being away from San Diego for so long and unable to find a decent Mexican restaurant with authentic foods. This place hit all the spots.
Wish the meat a little bit rare, but I am satisfied with the meal. I definitely will stop by again when I am in the area. ??“

“Mannn i've tried a lot of different marisco (seafood) places and this place is leagues and bounds above the places i've been to even compared to the great places in Mexico!

The service is better than most restaurants. The gentlemen here are very attentive, kind, informative, and treat you like family.

This place is a hidden gem and well worth the visit. I live in LA and i still go out of my way to eat here.

I would give this place 10 stars if i could!

“Excellent food, the chicken tacos are served with just the tortilla and meat, but the diy aspect of the salad bar is awesome because you can put as much or as little of the toppings as you want! The salsas were all good and the bar has limes and pickles carrots and cucumbers as well. The tacos were insanely cheap but super delicious, I will definitely be returning“

“Ordered the Mexican sweet corn bowl with shrimp. Absolutely outstanding. I got extra onion and cilantro from the abundant salsa bar. The lady at the cash register's name is Patty and she was so sweet and accommodating and friendly and knowledgeable. I think she made the meal taste even better with her warm and friendly service even though she didn't prepare the food herself. Nice quiet place I would encourage people to go in there and actually sit down and have dinner.“

Ordered a Machaca breakfast burrito. Must try! Growing up in a Mexican household, the salsas make or break my experience at a local spot like this one. Both the red and green salsas here made Erika’s earn a spot on my list of go-to’s. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu, especially the menudo.“

“Best Churros I have eaten. Made fresh when you order it. Has custard filling on the inside. They don't do a good job advertising or promoting it. My grandson loves their burritos - reasonable price and large enough portion to satisfy him. Friendly staff and chef.“

Just by standing waiting to oder your head may be spinning when you see what other people order. Everything served fresh not from frozen stock. I have tried several dishes not mainstream and enjoyed each and everyone of them. Pricing not outrageous yet and wait time usually less than 10 min depending on time of day. Take out is preferred..“

“Seemed to be authentic Oaxaquenian food. I had a one-meat Tlayuda, like a huge tostada of refried beans, shredded lettuce, lots of shredded Quesilla cheese and a bit of guacamole. Also a smallish piece of grilled beef that was tender but very dry like jerky. The salsa was flavorful and on the hot side. The dish was OK but I probably wouldn't order it again. Also tried a couple things from the bakery side and they were fresh and tasty. Service was good. Bathroom was clean. Seemed like the servers and most of the customers spoke Spanish. If I was in the neighborhood again I'd stop in and try something else. Since other reviews mention waiting too long for the food to arrive, I should say the food came in a very reasonable time.“

“I was just looking for a wings place, I did not expect such a varied menu. I ordered the carne asada fries, the chipotle fries, buffalo wings, and a carnitas quesadilla. Everybody loved their food!

I had the quesadilla and this may be my second favorite carnitas. Well seasoned, soft, and not oily. I also had some of the chipotle fries. Everybody was right, they were amazing.

It's criminal that there wasn't a line out the door. The prices were reasonable and service was very quick. We definitely will be visiting again.“

“This is definitely a to go style taco shop, or a quick lunch break and you aren't looking for ambience. But the food is sit down restaurant quality. I'm a gardener so I've had plenty of burritos over the years and the ham + egg breakfast burritos are top notch tasty!“
