“I had a craving for a good old fashioned Chinese lunch special. You know the ones that include maybe some soup if you're lucky rice and one entree. I saw this place when I had a few minutes to myself. I went in and ordered not expecting much but it was absolutely delicious! The soup was hot and sour soup which is one of my favorites. It was incredibly well done and then I had kung pao shrimp with stir fried rice. The rice was okay. Nothing special but my God the kung pao shrimp? The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the vegetables were crisp tender and the sauce was spicy enough to catch your attention without burning out your stomach or your throat“

“It's a very well known restaurant, with very tasty delicious dishes .
Loved the Garlic Pea Sprouts ($19.95.) Tender pea sprouts stir-fried with minced garlic, offering a fresh and savory leafy green dish. Over all ...their food is so delicious and authentic.
Also the the Spicy Stir-fried Cabbage and Garlic Baby Bock Choi are so delicious. 🔥“

“The food was good as usual. It was not very busy for a Sunday but the staff looked tired and not very enthusiastic. They should enforce dress codes for servers. The floors were sticky when you walk into the restaurant. The water glassed were plastic instead of glass. The restaurant needs deep cleaning and freshen up the atmospher. You can see all the storage freezers when sitting in the dining room when they can be hidden with a decor curtain or a trifold divider. They don't bring the bill to the table or accept payment at the table only at the cashier which is weird for a sit down facility“

“The food is always good here! Fresh and cooked to order. Service has gotten better over the years I remember when they were so rude. For the Ambiance I give it a 3 this is really a order and go. My favorite is always a dry fry ribs they're always top-notch. Today I ordered dry fried ribs beef chow mein and chicken fried rice with no soy sauce. The wait time has even improved I only waited 15 minutes.“

“Many Chinese restaurants are just fast food.
Instead, this is some of best fine dining in Walnut Creek at reasonable prices.
The menu is quite long including everything from chitlins and pigs ears to broccoli beef and orange chicken. They have many spicy and non-spicy options. We have been going here for years, with favorites including Kim chi, Sichuan Beef Stew Noodle Soup, Cucumber in Garlic Sauce, Sichuan Wonton, Pea Sprouts w Garlic, Bejing Pork, Dry Cooked Green Beans, Charred Cabbage, Eggplant & Shrimp, Chong Qing chic (w bone), Gongbao Chicken, Mongolian Lamb, Fish Fillet w Precious Wine Sauce, and Sichuan Spicy Boiled Fish. We still have many dishes we have not tried yet. Their spicy dishes are savory and complex (not just hot) and some include the numbing Ma peppers.
The service has always been excellent.“
