“First time coming here. My friend recommended this place, so we came for Mother's Day lunch. The restaurant is kind of big and there are plenty of seats, but parking was kind of a struggle since the parking lot is pretty small and fills up fast (especially holidays or special days)
We ordered
1.Yang Chow Fried Rice $25.95
2.Eggplant with String Beans $25.95
3. Braised Pig Feet & Chicken Feet $26.95
4. Glutinous Rice Balls (peanut filling) $18.95
5. Spicy & Cumin Pork Chops $23.95
The only downside was that they seemed pretty understaffed. We had to wait a while before anyone came to take our order. But honestly, all the food was really good. My favorite was definitely the eggplant with string beans, so flavorful and really well cooked. I also liked that you can ask for lower sodium dishes if you want. I would want to come back again to try other things on the menu.“
“So delicious and definitely my favorite Chinese restaurant in the East Bay--we've been twice in three weeks. We got the cilantro beef both times, and rotated other dishes. Everything has been really good and very fresh. When we went last weekend the staff (I assume the family owners?) were sitting at a table folding dumplings and chatting. It was nice to see the handmade assemy process and it seemed like a labor of love.
It's been pretty quiet when we've been in at lunchtime on the weekends. Go try it!“

“I had a really satisfying meal at Sizzling Pot King in San Francisco. The dry pot was packed with bold Sichuan flavors and a perfect balance of spice and aroma. I loved being able to customize the pot with different meats and vegetables, and everything came out sizzling hot and well seasoned. The portions were generous and great for sharing with friends. It’s a fantastic spot if you enjoy spicy Chinese food and want something flavorful and filling.“

“Our daughter is obsessed with soup dumplings which we found at Fusion Dumpling. The traditional pork were great, but try the black truffle and wagyu soup dumplings. You won't be disappointed!“

“I had dinner here tonight. I ordered pea shoots and spicy fish fillets.
The pea shoots were fresh and full of garlic flavor. They are my favorite vegetable—healthy and delicious.
The spicy fish was really tasty. It’s the best I’ve had in the past one or two years.
The restaurant provided tea and side dishes. The environment is comfortable, and the service was nice and thoughtful.
Highly recommend!“

“Solid Chinese yum, not the standard Chinese-American.
Popo Noodles, with rice-wine braised pork belly is savory, soy-based comfort; egg noodles cooked to still-chewy perfection, dressed for flavor but still dry. Pickled Bamboo Shoots add-on, a must, to cut through the light meat fat.
A good option when at Spark Social.“

“Ordered takeout at this place and got the General chicken and potstickers. I wasn't disappointed at all. The chicken was perfectly cooked and coated with a delicious sauce, the potstickers were absolutely delectable and were cooked to perfection, and the price for it was absolutely reasonable despite the place being in one of the most expensive cities to live in California. My order was also ready in a short amount of time. Overall, I'm satisfied and happy with the food and experience I had from ordering here. I definitely recommend this place.“

“The food is always good here! Fresh and cooked to order. Service has gotten better over the years I remember when they were so rude. For the Ambiance I give it a 3 this is really a order and go. My favorite is always a dry fry ribs they're always top-notch. Today I ordered dry fried ribs beef chow mein and chicken fried rice with no soy sauce. The wait time has even improved I only waited 15 minutes.“

“Little Szechuan is one of our “go to” restaurants when we’re craving authentic Chinese food with regional spices and heat. They offer an extensive menu, including dishes that will help Chinese natives overcome any pangs of homesickness. In fact, it reminds my partner of foods his grandmother used to prepare for his family in Wuhan. Delivery is fast, reliable, and always hot upon arrival. Try it! “What a surprise! I stopped going to this local restaurant pre pandemic because the whole experience had gone downhill, both in house and to go.
Now many years later I really wanted szechuan food and decided to give them another try.
What a change for the better!
The order was ready on time.
The containers were bulging with food.
the cumin lamb was no longer 90%peppers.
The chow fun was not swimming in oil.
The food was delicious and plentiful.
We will certainly be back and I'm so delightfully surprised in this time when restaurants are feeling the pinch. Everything was so different and just what I wanted.“
