“I had a great first experience here. I thought the portions are quite good for the price that you pay. First thing to mention is that this place is not that big. If you have 4 people then it should be easy to fit. The staff were nice and it seems like it is family owned.

The fish filet sandwich was really good! Just go for it! I enjoyed their curry as well, we got the pork katsu, I just wish that they had some of those red radish or green cucumber pickles, that would go quite well with the curry!

I noticed buzz and woody has moved here from Andy’s room. Will definitely come back if I am in the area! Until next time!“

“Had a wonderful time here!!! There were so many varieties to choose from and Mama Wang had loose leaf as well as tea bags available to purchase! I brought family with me to do a tea tasting and we got to try several different types of tea that invigorated my love for tea! Not only that, but Mama Wang herself brewed the tea and helped us pick different varieties and was a wonderfully charming and sweet person to speak to. Everything was perfect on my visit and I fully recommend coming here for the tea tasting experience and for wonderful teas!“

The brown sugar boba milk tea is rich in tea flavor with just the right amount of sweetness, and the boba is perfectly chewy and soft — absolutely delicious. “We have been going to Boba Box since it was still doing the soft opening. We drive about 15-20 mins just to come here. My family found a new boba place that actually accommodate everybody drinking favorite. I don’t have to drive to Rowland Heights for Half And Half then go to West Covina for BYOB and OneZo. Then go to Dunkin Donuts for Matcha latte. Boba Box is amazing and drinks always comes out the same taste every time. Just the right coldness and amount of toppings. Keep it up the good work.“

“Amazing atmosphere! Bookstore-like decor and plenty of cool board games. Ordered the chicken wings which were juicy and spiced just right. Relatively empty in the afternoon so a great place to work then.

Critical feedback: I ordered a peach oolong milk tea with boba, 0 sugar. The drink was very watery and I requested more milk in it, but it still wasn't enough. Slightly disappointed with the drink.

Nice-to-have enhancement: have sugar packets outside so customers can adjust the sugar level themselves. Would be nice if the boba had a honey coating to it.

“This is a really nice cafe in Downey. They have free wifi, many snacks and nice boba. The boba menu is great. The smoothie and fruit tea are nice too. I think the standard menu is a bit too sweet for me. The snacks are like frozen snacks and took out to fry. Staff was very nice. Clean restroom. Great vibes for working or chatting.“

“After dinner nearby, we knew we wanted boba afterwards and purposely saved room for it! R&B Tea was on the opposite end of the plaza, which worked out as we worked off a little bit of dinner by walking here.

I ordered a jasmine green milk tea ($5.75) at 50% sweet with easy ice and boba ($0.75). Just the right amount of sugar with the right consistency for the boba. Would definitely order again (and also possibly try their matcha milk tea or roasted oolong milk tea). Post-dinner boba craving met! Thanks Tiffany for taking care of our large group order!

They have two small tables in the front and more table space in the back for hanging out and playing board games. We picked The Logo Game and learned new facts about products and logos and what not from the game. Did you know that Baskin Robbins had 31 flavors particular to cover each day of the month? I didn't, until the game. Fun times.

I think the wait is actually worth it. Here, conventional boba pearls are replaced by handcrafted tapioca cubes with the consistency of mochi. “I read the others reviews before coming
(1) I was surprised by how fairly everything seemed priced. The tags scared me at first but they are /per pound price. For reference 4oz is WAY more than I thought. Imagine filling up a gallon ziploc bag.
(2) Someone came to help me very quickly, showed me the good stuff (freshly picked green tea), and did everything to make sure I felt comfortable before making a purchase. I’m not used to this communication style but was 100% satisfied with her help.
(3) I’m sorry to everyone who had a bad experience. I wasn’t asked to pay a minimum (to whoever said there was, would love more details). Hopefully if you come back you’ll have a more positive one like mine“

“We got the beef & beef tendons& beef tripe with rice noodles mild spicy but honestly I ordered some chili paste to make it more spicy. We also got a side of Inoke mushrooms wrapped in beef were really good and it’s tasted so good if you put them in the broth of the beef soup. We also got the strawberry oolong tea drink and that made the food taste even better. The sweet lady who served us was helpful and nice. She even gave us water as we waited for our food. Seats are limited so first come first serve but dining in was a good experience. In total we spent 57$ for all of that.“

“Chicha San Chen has always been one the popular boba place originated from Taiwan a few years ago and the trend / brand was brought to the States. They are known for their high quality tea.

When it first opened in San Gabriel, I was so happy because 626 finally has a known, high quality tea brand that open here. There are many boba shops in the 626 but their drink is just average. If you have been to Asian, especially Taiwan or hong kong, their milk teas/tea depending on the style you like amazes you. The taste and quality of those boba shops can’t compare. Are they bad though? No of course not but you always want crave for the best one right?

This place is one of the best ones. Good tea quality, hot and perfect sweetness boba and other drink refreshers. There are always super long lines regardless of which store it is. Not going to be a big difference here with the wait as you can expect is 9/10 times when you come. Thats the only negative comment I would say about this place and other store locations.

This particular location is small and long lines are expected. Drinks are great just like other stores. I’m happy that the quality of their drinks didn’t just dip after opening a few locations in US. The reason is usually when a popular brand is brought from other countries and after opening different locations, they tend to drop ( service, quality and taste ), not with them though! They stay consistent!

“I don't usually eat Thai food. The spices just aren't my favorite. My preferences lean towards Korean, Chinese, Japanese, fillipino. That being said the food was very very good. We got egg rolls, scallion pancake, fried fish balls, beef handmade noodle soup, and minced pork dry noodles. I was surprised how some of the flavors reminded me of things I love from distinctly Non-Thai cultures. Service was great for there being 1 guy trying to do everything. I'm not demanding or entitled, so I had no problem practicing a little patience. That being said nothing took long and I never felt neglected. I'd strongly recommend for Thai food lovers. It was a positive experience considering Thai isn't my thing. I would eat there again.“

• 🍃 Dragon Well Latte (Seasonal) – More milky than tea-forward. Didn’t really taste the tea for me, so I wouldn’t order this again.
