“Bought a Dancing Salmon burrito and pork gyoza with a strawberry drink. First time here, second time in the mall. I'm happy to have had a great first-time experience. The meal was quickly made; I only waited a few minutes for the extras to come out, but after that, it was enjoyed by the food court.“

“I stopped here to watch the Dodgers World Series game 1. This is the local dive bar, the crowd was loud but the Dodgers had a walkoff home run so I was expecting some noise. Pool table was old school, only a quarter to play with a chalkboard of who’s next. I had a fun evening and the lady behind the bar bought me a beer, how often does that ever happen. A five star evening for me!“

“This place is definitely a hidden gem! As soon as you walk in you feel like you’ve entered an alternate universe. “Tried line dancing for the first time here and absolutely loved it. Even though the place was packed, it never felt chaotic or overwhelming, which made the whole experience really enjoyable.
As someone who had never done line dancing before, I really appreciated that there were beginner-friendly dances as well as more advanced ones for experienced dancers. One of the nicest parts of the night was simply watching the couples on the floor, they were clearly having a great time, and it added such a warm, fun energy to the atmosphere.“

“We came to Paragon Bar and Grill for brunch right after my daughter’s graduation from CSUN. I found the place through a quick internet search and didn’t really know what to expect, but I was able to make a reservation online for a party of 13 with no issue. Our reservation was right when they opened at 11am on a Sunday, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves—just a couple of people at the bar. The space definitely leans more bar than grill, but it worked well for our group. Very low-key and relaxed. The menu had plenty of options, which was great since we had a few picky eaters. Everyone found something they liked, and the food was excellent across the board. The service stood out—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We didn’t order many drinks, but even so, I was surprised at how reasonable the bill was for such a large group. Only downside: the bathroom could use a refresh. It’s what you’d expect in a neighborhood bar—functional but not the highlight of the visit. Would absolutely go back. Great experience overall, and I really appreciate the staff for helping make the day special.“

“This place simply has the best pita and shawarma I have eaten in a long time. The food was so delicious I ate it all before I even thought of taking a picture for this review. The service is exceptional and the vibe is welcoming. If it was up to me this place would have a Michelin star or two. I will definitely be coming back here.“

“My husband and I usually go during happy hour for their poke nachos and crispy brussel sprouts but have tried a few other things. Everything we've tried has been delicious but occasionally varies in preparation quality. We went on March 18th and ordered the poke nachos but they were not as good. The portion was a lot smaller than usual, so we decided to order another one. The second one came out great (I included a picture of the one prepared correctly) and that's when we realized they left off ingredients from the first one sent. They were still good but it was interesting that the two plates were that different. We didn't mention this to our waiter and I'm sure they would have been accommodating but maybe plates should be checked for quality before they're delivered?

Another note, we usually sit at the bar but we got a table the last time since the bar was packed. We were obviously fine with this but the cleanliness was extremely lacking. The menus had food on them and greasy fingerprints. I'm also not sure why the booths are never wiped down?? The tables are cleaned but the food just lands on the seats. Then you're wondering what else isn't cleaned, look around, and notice all the other spots that aren't wiped down. So gross.“

“Right around the corner from our hotel - The Anza. We were able to change our reservation from 7:15 to 6:30 since our room wasn't ready - the hostess was very accommodating. Servers are all so friendly. The food is delicious - pear and burrata appetizer, salmon bow tie pasta, eggplant Parmesan. The salad and salad dressing was excellent too!!! The strawberry lemon drop was perfect. We dined on the patio - it was so pleasant and not loud. I would highly recommend Rosti.“

“I ABSOLUTELY love the place!! There is something about this Chili's that sets it apart from the other Chili's I have been to. They have a phenomenal staff and the GM is the best I have seen. They have generous servings and they understand that customer service and satisfaction are more important than anything else. They went out of the way to take care of me and make sure I enjoyed my meal. You will see celebrities here and they are filming shows etc every now and then - influencers are fairly common.“

“Our family of three arrived just before 6pm on Sunday for a birthday rewards dinner. The restaurant was NOT busy and they sat us in what appeared to be the only dining section in use as there were several other families dining there as well. Water, chips and salsa came out quickly. We placed our order with our waitress rather quickly and that's when things went south. This was the last time we saw our waitress for the rest of the night. I don't know if she left to join the circus or what, but we never saw her again. Our food came out, the wait for the food was noticeable, maybe because there were other parties in the room that ordered before us, but we watched and tracked when tables got served. That's how long of a wait it was. Not horrible, but enough to notice and start tracking it. That was the last time we got service. My water glass was empty for almost the entire meal. Waiters and servers would pass by, go to other tables, take our empty chips basket away, but never refil the water or ask if I wanted more. We had to flag someone down to refil the drink, twice. We were the only table without a waiter. When we were done, we had to flag a random waiter down to get our bill. They delivered the wrong one. Ok, that's an accident stuff happens. They fixed it, the bill was right, our birthday meal discount was applied. That was good, because that was the only time the birthday was actually recognized. No happy birthday from the original waitress, no special dessert, no nothing. We've been going to El Toritos for over 30 years. Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Woodland Hills, Oxnard, and Northridge. This is the first time we've ever been ignored on a birthday. At Woodland Hills they ask everyone if they want to be sung to and they bring out a scoop of ice cream. We're going back there next time. Northridge is a prettier location, but the service left a LOT to be desired. Needless to say, no tip was left.“
